Description of Work: They come out twice a year. They check everything out when they do. They check my humidifier, air filter, furnace, and outside unit.

Description of Work: Our furnace went out late on the evening of January 2. We didn't realize it until the morning of January 3. I started making calls about 8:15 am. Presidential was the first company to answer my call. There was a technician at our house by 9:30 am and he had the repair (replacement of a broken electronic ignition) completed by 10:00 am. He was very nice and professional. He aLso inspected the furnace and found another problem. We have scheduled a time for a technician to do that repair and a cleaning next week. My husband signed up for a yearly contract because he was so pleased. The woman that handled my initial call Is a lovely person. Overall this was a great experience and we highly recommend Presidential. The amount we spent includes the price of the yearly contract.

Description of Work: I was disappointed to spend $109 for a "travel" charge. For just a furnace pilot light problem, I spent $50 for a $100 "discount" coupon plus another $59 toward the balance. I thought the cost of the part was rather high, although I had nothing to compare it to. Consequently, I feel the total cost of the repair, $218 for a furnace pilot light problem, which included the so-called "discount," was unusually high. .
