I purchased this inspection as an angie's list deal. I was very pleased with the result. Louis, the technician arrived early. They called me before hand to let me know he was on the way. Louis was very knowledgeable, courteous, answered all my questions and told me how much things would cost before making the repairs. He has a great service attitude. Based on this visit I decided to purchase a service contract with this company.

Glenn was very professional as the sales pro and he was so patient with me during initial proposal phase. Then he showed me a few options and recommended the most cost efficient system setup based on my house design. I was never pressured during the process and not like some of those other companies where I was pushed to make a quick decision without having my questions answered. I felt that my interests have always been put as high priorities and Presidential Heating and Air was very supportive throughout the entire project. On the day of installation, it turned out that my back door was not big enough to move in the new unit, installation specialist was able to figure other options to move the unit without any further delays. I am a two times returned customer which I have used Presidential from the past, their high level of services have not changed but only went to a higher level. Basically, every staff at Presidential was very friendly to work with and I will definitely come back for their business again in near future.

Estimator (Glenn) spent 45 minutes explaining calculations and reviewing various options. Estimate was sent promptly that night and he gave pricing for 3 various options. The pricing was slightly higher than the cheapest, but I really appreciated the quality of the estimate (and the work). Workers showed up on-time (I said as early as 7; they were there at 7:15) and estimator stopped by to ensure everything was going well. Workers suggested a different routing for some of the duct-work that would be more efficient and made the change. They followed-up with a call the next night to ensure everything was working and I didn't have any questions and a thank-you a week later for using their business.

We were very happy with everyone we worked with during this project. The installation began on time on the date we agreed and lasted two days. Five technicians installed the purchased equipment, removed all old components, left my home in excellent condition, and even identified a very dangerous pre-existing problem with the electrical panel that had been upgraded within the last two years. Overall, I would highly recommend Presidential to any of my friends or family, and I would certainly use them again! Presidential will be our go-to company for all our HVAC maintenance needs.

The tech showed up on time, was friendly and competent. Even tho our unit is only 9 months old, the tech said it was installed poorly by another company and the fan wasn't working. He fixed it and did the regular Spring tune up. I signed up for their annual contract program.

Very well. We interviewed 3 contractors before choosing Presidential. They were the most thorough in their estimation process, listened closely to our needs and past experiences with the existing unit, and offered options. Their competitors were good, however, Presidential rose above them in the end by providing the most desirable choices at a competitive price. We scheduled the installation; when the day came they were completely prepared. They removed the old equipment, plumbed-in the new unit, and we had heat from the new unit that evening. They went the extra mile in every respect to ensure customer satisfaction. Very courteous, professional, and thorough. They came back the next day to tidy up loose ends, clean-up, and check system performance. We will recommend Presidential to our family and friends.

Presidential was great. Our salesman was Glenn, who was fabulous. He was punctual, non-pushy, and offered the best price of the ~5 quotes we received. After the work started, I asked about a new dryer duct, and he added it on for free. I don't usually write reviews, but it's probably the gratuitous dryer duct addition that got me to write this one. The installers were also punctual and professional. We're loving our system so far.

It went very smoothly. There are a lot of rebates and tax credits associated with this purchase and they made it very easy. I would use them again and recommend their service.

The work was scheduled for what ended up being the hottest day we had in July. Since the new inversion heat pump is also the new a/c unit, that meant no a/c that day. As work progressed, the guy on site said he didn't think they could have the a/c up and running by end of day as they had promised. I called the office and they sent additional people out to make sure it was finished and running by dinner. I waited to write my review so that I could comment on the system's performance in both hot and cold weather. First thing, the unit is super quiet, even if you're standing right next to it outside. My electric bill for the rest of the summer was approximately $125 per month lower than previous years, so definitely an improvement on the a/c. The unit has been able to heat the house without the electric backup kicking in this winter. It does get a little louder when the temperature goes below 30. Obviously, the electric bills have been higher this winter, but still much less than paying for oil. This month, Feb 2017, is $224. We've had no problems with the system since install other than the direction the condensation from the outdoor unit drains. I would definitely recommend Presidential and an inversion heat pump.

I did not buy the original furnace from them but they came out to check it out. Spent hours checking out our furnace and got it to work to keep us warm through a cold spell and then we decided to replace it. They told me they were very busy and would send a guy for one hour. Owen said he would stay until he found the problem. That sold me on the company and I've been using them ever since. Very professional. Knowledgeable.

Very responsive. Reasonable prices. They get the work done correctly and make sure I’m satisfied before they leave. Too darn punctual. They were here before the scheduled time, which was fine. I just wasn't ready.

The service provided by Presidential Heating and Air Conditioning was excellent. I was able to go online late in the evening and enter my information. I was also able to chat live to explain the situation interactively, set up a timeline for an appointment to get the repairs completed. Company called me first thing in am, set up an appointment time; called me 30 minutes before tech arriving at my home - so helpful. (I didn't have to take a whole day off work - I could stay at work and come home once they gave me a 30-minute warning - very customer orientated! I received a call from the company 30 minutes from the time when the tech arrived. (Did I say how customer-orientated this is?) The technician (Geno Sposito) arrived on time, put on protective booties, was so customer-orientated. Geno quickly diagnosed the problem, explained (and showed me) the issues, provided the cost and timeline of the repairs. He communicated with his manager to try to determine the best option and priceline for me based on my Angie's List membership and other details. After Geno completed the repairs, he showed me the cost which was less that previous anticipated. Because I was so impressed with the original contact and especially with the service provided by Geno, I decided to purchase an annual service agreement. I will definitely use this provider in the future.

Scheduling was a pricing nightmere. First I used a Angie's List special promotion, but since it was a weekend they weren't sure how to treat the pricing of the visit. The first lady couldn't do the promotion math with extra weekend service fee. Another lady had to complete the pricing. But then the guy shows up... He said sorry you need a new A/C unit because of bad compressor. Once he concluded that quickly he crawled around guessing about other issues with our whole system (since he had an hour). I called another guy.. loose wire in the circuit board of the A/C unit all is fine. Presidential is sales centric and falls flat on service.

Very well. Technician was knowledgeable, thorough, and communicative. He carefully inspected each part of the 'system', both inside and outside. He looked for defects, as well as potential problems. He clearly explained all that he found, as well as what recommendations he made for the future. (Fortunately, he found nothing that required immediate attention.) Based on this experience, we purchased a 'twice yearly' - Spring & Fall inspection / clean-up contract.

They seem to be fair and they seem to be responsive. They left it sort of dirt but it was easy enough to clean up.

I've use Presidential Heating and AC to maintain my old boiler for more than 15 years. When it was time to replace that boiler they were one of three companies I called to get a quote. Glenn Hoffacker, our sales rep, couldn't have been more helpful in following up with my emails with multiple follow-up questions on the best type of boiler we should go with. In the end we chose Presidential to replace our old 30 boiler and hot water heater, and the following year our HVAC system and a year after that old heat pump system in an addition. Couldn't be happier with their professionalism from the sales to installers and their service reps.
