Description of Work: Hired Presidential based on recommendations and Angie's List. Simple A/C inspection; signed 1-year service agreement. The agreement was advertised for ~$160. What surprised me were the "extra" charges for having an integrated humidifier (+$30) and the extra one-time $10 fee for ?? (I've forgotten now what that is).

We appreciate the review very much. We would like to thank you for signing up for a maintenance contract and look forward working with you from here on out. We have our normal contract pricing for the heating/cooling system. We have an additional charge of $25 if you would like to add the humidifier to the contract. The reasons we have this charge is because some people are looking for a low price to cover their equipment and don't want any extra services. Another reason is some people either don't want us to cover their humidifier or don't use it, thus adding unnecessary cost to them. Also some customers homes do not have a humidifier for us to look at. We feel it is a low cost option most customers approve more for piece of mind. We could raise the cost of our normal contract to cover it but that would not be fair to other customers who do not have/use a humidifier. We thank you again for your service with Presidential.

Professional, friendly, and knew what he was doing....answered all my questions politely and thoroughly. Description of Work: Called to get a quote on a new boiler and indirect hot water heater. I was ready to buy. They told me they were in air conditioning mode now and not doing boiler work. I was trying to do the work before I needed heat. Well, I took my $25K in work to another provider who thinks a bit more ahead of what is on their schedule today.

I'm not sure what conspired here or if this was even our company. No one in our office remembers taking a call for this but we can't say for sure as nothing was ever scheduled. We are never too busy to take a look at a new installation job. We have several comfort advisers that are ready & willing to look at new work. We would never not want to give an estimate because we are too busy.This is the industry we are in and will always welcome the opportunity for new business. We have reached out to the customer to try to find out more information.
