Our heat pump stopped working after a thunderstorm. The jovial technician quickly found the cause and fixed it. He also taught us how to deal with it next time. He didn't charge us more than a service call. Awesome!

Disparity in technicians. Some very good; others not so good. Definitely on the more expensive side.

Problem identified quickly, replacement was made and suggestions were offered.

It was excellent! They were on time they cleaned up after themselves, they checked back on me and they were wonderful.

I was very pleased with Presidential's estimator who did a great job working with me to obtain a very good system at a reasonable price. The installation crew (six guys showed up) knew exactly what they were doing and everything went well. They seem like good people to work with.

I requested an inspection of my rental property's HVAC through Angie's List. It was thorough with the details relayed professionally over the phone and in writing. An invoice was sent immediately with details of the visit and reasonable maintenance suggestions. the inspector found some relatively minor issues on the 13 year old unit and followed up professionally and promptly for a reasonable price. An additional item was found after the inspection by my tenant and they addressed it quickly at no charge. Gena Howard relayed the details clearly, handling mine and my tenant's needs promptly with immediate and proactive interactions via phone and email. I had a lot of trepidation before engaging a "new" HVAC company but I am very pleased at PHAC's skills and ability to perform sound customer service.

In summer of 2016, we retained Presidential to change our HVAC system. It was a big job and the approximate cost was $15000 to $20,000. We did our research, and based on the recommendations in Angie's list, decided to go with Presidential. The sales experience was smooth. Our sales person, Glenn was smart and slick. He sold us a good unit with extended warranty and service contract for roughly $17000. We had cheaper options with similar units but our experience with Presidential seemed to be really good. Glenn did a great job of selling us on the value of the company and their code of conduct. Our experience with Presidential is that it is a dishonest company. In the quote, and invoice, they charged us for 10 year parts and labor warranty. When we called for warranty service, they claimed to not have it on file. The company now blames Glenn for not "adding it" to the contract. We have called multiple times and every time they promise to look into it and get back to us. We never receive a return call. Had they told us it was not included in the price, we would have been okay with it. The issue we have is their dishonesty and misrepresentation. They told us one thing and did not put it into their contract. The quote was sent to us as an online quote. We really did not have "contract". We just received an invoice that did not provide the details. The invoice was supposed to work with the online quote. No one wants to take accountability on their part. Lack of professionalism is a key issue with the company. They bad mouthed the other company we were working with to get an alternative quote and claimed that their sales person was fired from Presidential. We are very disappointed and would never use them again. We recommend that you avoid using Presidential.

All went fine. Tech showed up right on time, was very efficient and professional. Found no problems, but better safe than sorry. No complaints and price was good particularly with the coupon.

Plan was affordable. Technician performed thorough inspection and was very respectful. There was an attempt to upsell me on additional services, but I didn't need them at the time so I declined.

It went very well. They provided an estimate right away, once they confirmed that replacing the unit would be the best option. I also got a diagnosis and estimate from another company which I trust and have been using for many years. The diagnosis was similar and the prices comparable. I preferred to go with Presidential Heating since they could do it sooner. They showed up on time and did an excellent job. I was so pleased with their services that now I hired them for an annual maintenance of the unit.

The presidential came and inspected the job. They've been really good about maintenance. They call before coming. Very professional.They do honor their warranty, they replace parts for free under warranty. Competitive price. outstanding quality. They followed up. The service guys was so polite and instructional, he tells us how to use it.

The repair specialist was on time, prepared and very through doing a great job.

We had no heat for 3 days and they Arrange to have a team come on Saturday, not a normal workday. So that we could have a new furnace installed.

My overall experience with Presidential Heating is great. First of all, everyone from Presidential Heating was honest, courteous and professional throughout their conduct with me. Second of all, their quality of work is awesome, one of the technician, Dave, helped me to identify the source of the noise in the HVAC hosting closet that's been bothering my neighbor. Third of all, their cost is comparatively the best among the three HVAC companies that bid on the this job. I would highly recommend Presidential Heating and would definitely hire them again if I have another HVAC repair/replace need.

They are very responsive to calls. They are good at scheduling service and providing reminders.

I had Presidential out to service my boiler. Tech was there was for two hours to do the service at a cost of $160, which I thought was a pretty good amount time. But he left me with an "urgent" recommendation for another $1,400 worth of work, even though he acknowledged on the estimate that the boiler was heating perfectly well. According to him, the boiler accessory parts were old enough to fail at any moment, causing unpotable water to spill into my family's water supply and cause expensive damage to the home. I called my home warranty rep, and she sent a different company out to check the boiler. After an hour, that tech reported that there was no problem whatsoever with the boiler or any of its components (evidenced by the fact that the boiler was working perfectly well and had proper pressure levels, etc). He said in his opinion the boiler required no work whatsoever, which is frankly what I would expect of a system that is only 6 years old and has been properly serviced since its installation. He did however show me the inside of the boiler, which had a large pile of yucky black dirt sitting inside it, about an inch thick, that was left over from Presidential's "cleaning" of the unit two days earlier. I'm putting the photo online for you to judge, but that boiler sure doesn't look clean to me. I called Presidential back to ask what was up, and after some hemming and hawing they admitted that the recommendation for replacing all of the components at a cost of $1400 was purely preemptive - apparently they just expect their customers to spend that $1400 replacing those parts on their boilers every five years. I have to say, given the earlier statement that my family's water supply was on the verge of being poisoned, that I now interpret the whole incident as a poorly disguised money grab. I also emailed the photo of the dirt pile inside my boiler to Presidential, and will be curious to hear what they have to say to justify that. When I mentioned it over the phone, they said that sweeping up the dirt from that part of the unit would definitely be an extra charge. The initial response to the photo has been, "well, I'm not a tech, so I'll have to see what they say." I'm not a tech either, but I do know an inch of dirt when I see it. Again, the whole exchange it just came across as an excuse to cover up for shabby practices. I give Presidential points for always picking up the phone, responding to emails, and showing up when they say they will. However, buyer beware!! Get a second opinion before you shell out a bunch of cash for them. I will personally not be using Presidential again.

Presidential removed the old system and installed a new furnace and AC system. They provided all costs up front for us to select from. The work was done professionally and their office provided the PEPCO and AC rebates that were available.

Excellent work. The tech knew what he was doing.

It's on a contract. If they have to replace filters or anything it is an additional charge. I would recommend other members to check them out for themselves.

Their name is Presidential. That name describes them. They are top notch.

Prompt and professional as always. Won't use another company.

Service was on time and professional. Technician explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. He said that we could possibly get 5 more years out of the system, and did not try to sell a new unit. I will definitely call Presidential for my next checkup and for a new unit when it is really necessary. Excellent service.

Presidential dispatched a technician on the weekend to fix our AC. Attic space was very tight, but no complaints from technician. Excellent work.

Glenn H. came out, viewed the situation and suggested replacement of the 20+ old furnace with a quieter and more efficient one. They would replace the coils and ensure all the registers were connected. For the first time since I bought the house, I am cool and the place doesn't sound like a plane is taking off when the system comes on.
