The owner cam out to measure the windows and they were perfectly measured. No problems. This is the second time I've used this company and they are outstanding.

If you want premium shutters, Perfect Fit is your source. We found the company here on Angie's List, and we've had a great experience with them. What they offer is an outstanding and unique product, made right in Maryland . . . excellent service . . . perfect installation. We had looked everywhere for quality exterior shutters. Once we saw the wooden shutters crafted by the Perfect Fit artisans, we knew we'd finally found our solution. John and Archi consulted with us patiently through all the style choices. And when the shutters arrived, they were indeed perfect: Exactly the right color, size and style. The installation process was perfect too, thanks to the amazing Paul and Jose. Paul made it look easy, but of course it took tremendous skill. He framed each window with immaculately-aligned shutters for a truly awesome look. We love our Perfect Fit shutters!

The first time I contracted with Perfect Fit Shutters was several years ago in a former home. Outstanding experience. I started out doing just a few windows but was so impressed with their company and product, I ended up putting shutters on every window in the house! I am building a new home and I asked them to put shutters on all my windows from the start. Why waste time waiting!! I would NEVER even consider using any other company for custom shutters. Perfect Fit Shutters is AAAA++++ from start to finish. Their sales rep, Marie, is extremely knowledgeable, professional and could not be friendlier. Their installer, Isais, who has been with the company for like 14 years is THE BEST HANDS DOWN. His installs are meticulous and he is neat, clean and friendly when he is doing his job. The shutters themselves are the best I have seen. When I lived in my former home, I did ask another company to give me an estimate but after actually comparing it with Perfect Fit Shutters, there was no question as far as the quality of the product. You can definitely feel and see the difference when you compare samples. I am a "you get what you pay for" kind of person and Perfect Fit Shutters definitely fits that bill. Also, it was VERY important to me that they manufacturer their own shutters. I recommend them without reservation.

The person who measured (I am sorry I can't recall her name) came out on a Saturday (when we were able to be home) to measure, and discovered that two windows we had always thought were identical, weren't! That is why you hire a professional to measure. She arrived punctually and even called to see if she could come a bit earlier than scheduled, which was fine with us. The installers were pleasant, friendly, efficient, punctual and obviously proud of their work. They cleaned up after themselves and wasted no time doing their job. All in all a great experience. I would recommend PerfectFit highly - you really do get what you pay for.

The estimator came out on saturday afternoon & measured windows & provided a quote. 3 weeks later the custom windows were installed in about 2 hours. The whole process was so simple & stress free.

I did a lot of research (about plantation shutters in general and on different companies) before I decided on Perfect Fit Custom Shutters. My overall experience with them was great. Marie came to our house for a consultation and to give us an estimate. She was very professional and knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions. She also had great recommendations (I really felt that I could trust her--not the most expensive option, but the best for our house--I could tell she wasn't just trying to get a higher commission--not even sure if they do work on commission). I really liked the fact that they are a company who cares about the environment and also they are a smaller, local company, but have been around for more than 25 years. They also make everything by hand, locally. Their price was not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but I felt confident that I was getting a high quality product and that it would be installed with care. They stayed true to the timeline that was promised to me. The two men who came to install our shutters worked very efficiently and did an impeccable job. They were both very professional and courteous (they took their shoes off without me even asking them to) and cleaned up after themselves leaving not even a speck of dust or caulk behind. I would absolutely recommend Perfect Fit Shutters and would use them again if we ever have a need.

After a poor customer service experience with a larger, national chain, we decided to contact a local company for custom window shutters. Perfect Fit responded to my initial query very quickly, and sent one of the owners to take measurements the same week. The final product seems to be excellent quality. We have some odd-sized bay windows and uneven windowsills, and they were still able to custom make perfect fitting shutters. The only downside is that they are a smaller shop, and so the lead time between the consultation and installation is rather long, but they were honest about this lag time, and the final product was well worth it. As far as pricing, custom shutters aren't cheap, but their pricing was as expected and fair.

Best company we have ever worked with for installing custom shutters. Very experienced, cool competetive, high quality work. Beautiful custom shutters. Even installed on heavy snow day when other businesses were closed to keep their schedule.

All appointments were right on time. The product is excellent quality and the installation was great. We love our new shutters and shades!!! It went extremely well 3 individuals came for install, removed their shoes were extremely friendy & professional. One of the shutters was tight & the installer immed. let me know asked if I wanted it removed & recut, which was done at no extra cost & no complaining. I would definitely recommend them. The salesperson was also very professional, friendly & competent.

We had problems contacting the contractor and then finding a mutually acceptable start time. The work was done as requested, but the installer was not communicative or friendly. The work was performed over two days, though it could have been performed in a single day if the installer had not arrived later than requested. We had considered having additional work done, but decided to do it ourselves and spent less time performing repairs than we had spent trying to contact the contractor.

In late 2010, we contracted with Perfect Fit Custom Shutters (PFCS) for the delivery of seven pairs of ceder shutters, and they were installed. in February 2011. Everything went on schedule and according to our expectations, and the new shutters, which replaced old white ones, have stunningly showed off our all red-brick house ever since. However, earlier this year (2014) we noticed that a small amount of the black paint had peeled off some of the metal caps, thereby exposing the shiny metal. Assuming this would be our responsibility to fix, we inquired of PFCS if they could suggest what kind of paint is recommend to address this issue. To our surprise and delight, PFCS responded that they would be willing to take care of it, at no cost to us. After two or three weeks, in late September 2014, one of their technicians was dispatched to our house with brand new metal caps for ALL shutters, not just the ones showing the peeling problem. The technician took down each shutter on-by-one and replaced the metal caps with the newly manufactured one. Needless to say the shutters, now nearly four years old, look just as new as when originally purchased. We are obviously extremely pleased with PFCS and highly can recommend their shutters to anyone contemplating new shutters or shutter replacement. They are truly classic designs, not the decorative kind that are typically nailed to the facade of the house, because they are completely functional and are mounted on real hinges with real hold-backs.

Job done on time and a perfect fit. Company did our exterior shutters the previous year and did a great job. They have a really great showroom. Not the cheapest, but the best.
