Absolutely great!

John came over to our house with samples of the product, measured our windows, and described the types of shutters we could order. We ordered shutters for our 3 bedrooms and for our dining room (which was about to be renovated). The shutters for the bedrooms were made and installed about 4-5 weeks after our order, and the dining room shutters were installed a few months later, after our renovations were complete. The installer was fabulous. He did not rush -- he was at our home for hours installing and making sure the seal was proper, and then he touched up the shutters. After each room was finished, he called me in to make sure I was happy with the installation before he moved on to the next room. We definitely will use this company when we're ready to install shutters in our sunroom and 4th bedroom.

I had visited Next Day Blinds before viewing PerfectFit's website. I compiled a list of questions and called Karen Gresh of PerfectFit. She answered my questions (e.g., what type of louvers would cut out the least light) and encouraged me to visit the showroom. I did so, and she showed me examples of the items about which I would need to make decisions (louver size, center horizontal rail or not, etc.); this visit was very informative, and Karen was very helpful. John Gresh visited my home and took measurements of my 5 windows; at my request, he also advised my carpenter about the windowsill depth that would look best with the shutters. I waited about 5 weeks for the shutters to be manufactured. They were installed in a couple of hours. The installer was very nice and did a very good job; he was late in arriving (he had 4 jobs before mine) but had called me to let me know what time he would actually arrive. I am very pleased with my shutters. Visitors to my home always comment favorably about them. They are well made, and the same color as my trim (all PerfectFit's colors are custom, at no extra charge); I expect them to last for a long time. They were slightly less expensive than Next Day Blinds, and I felt that I got more personalized treatment. The whole experience was a good one, and I have given PerfectFit's name to neighbors and various contractors involved in the renovation of my house.

John and Karen were great to work with, with lots of helpful advice. John and his crew make the shutters themselves, and the workmanship is great. Also, we found their prices to be very competitive. Their crew was very helpful and pleasant, installed everything in one day, and did a thorough cleanup after. And we LOVE the shutters!

Perfect Fit was very easy to do business with. Everyone was very professional, and the product is top quality. I researched the competition and found Perfect Fit won on quality and price hands down. I've had the shutters almost a year now, and they are great. I plan to call on them again when I'm ready to do a few more windows.

After the slow start with the estimate and final measurements, Perfect Fit built our custom shutters in 3 weeks. The installation crew was meticulous and very friendly. They made sure that the shutters were "perfectly" aligned and that all of the cracks were filled in with caulk. They also filled in the nail holes with white paint to match the color of the shutters.

This is the 2nd time we have used Perfect Fit. They installed shutters in our downstairs about a year ago. When were were looking at blinds and shades to put in a nursery we were decorating, we were dismayed by how much window treatments cost. Since we live in an old Victorian house NOTHING is standard size. The windows are no different, so we were having to look at custom drapery. When we compared the cost of custom drapes and shutters the choice became easy. We would be paying more for shutters, but in the grand scheme of things they would long outlast drapes, add value to the house, they did not have dangerous cords, and allowed greater control over lighting in the room. As many other people have mentioned, Perfect Fit is a dream to work with. They are professional, punctual, courteous, and reliable. I wish that I could find a plumber, electrician, carpenter, etc. that could live up to the high standards that Perfect Fit has exhibited on both occasions. They show up when they say they are going to, do what they say they will, and then charge you what they say they are going to. It sounds pretty basic, but no one else seems to manage to get all 3 of those things right. We plan on using them again in the future. Oh, and one side note- about six months after our first experience with them I called Karen at the store when I was out looking at some home improvement supplies (can't remember exactly what I was doing) to ask what color pain they used on our shutters. At the time, my wife laughed at me assuming my call would be fruitless and they would just tell me they didn't know. However,within a few seconds Karen was back on the phone with the exact paint match saving me another trip to the store. Just another pleasant surprise in my dealings with Perfect Fit

The experience was excellent. I first went to the showroom to choose the style of shutter for my house. This was really helpful because they have examples of different types of shutters in different types of windows. Then the owner, John, came to my house to measure and offered great advice on how to deal with certain window types. I have slightly different shades of white trim in my kitchen compared to the rest of the house. John made sure the shutter color matched the trim perfectly. The shutters were custom-built in just a few weeks. The install went very well, the installers were neat and professional.

After reading reviews on Angie's List, we visited the showroom and were impressed with the quality of the shutters. John (the owner) came to our house the following week to provide an estimate. He was knowledgeable and helpful. The shutters took about 2-3 weeks to be completed. Unfortunately when they were installed my husband and I thought the color was not perfect. The installers insisted it was the color we had ordered (custom color match to our trim color). As we lived with them for a few days we knew the color was wrong. We called Karen and she said the color was correct but regardless they would fix it so it looked perfect. She later did a test and realized they had indeed made a mistake. The installers had to come back to our house, remove the shutters, and take them back to the factory to be repainted. The installers were difficult to deal with (claimed again that the color was right after Karen told us they made a mistake), and it was frustrating to have to go through the process twice. However, when they were reinstalled the color was perfect and the shutters look fantastic. While I was dissapointed the mistake was made in the first place, Karen handled it professionally and relatively quickly fixed the problem. She even sent us a small gift to apologize for the hassle. We are very pleased with the quality and appearance of our shutters.

Estimating and installation were all done professionally and at the appointed time.

Shutters are beautiful. Installers did an excellent job. Our bay windows have sagged a little over time which presented some challenges for the installers. They made some on-site adjustments for a "Perfect Fit"

They brought samples, of colors, products and everything that they would be doing. They are excellent very professional, I will never go anywhere else they are that good!

John and his team at Perfect Fit Custom Shutters did an excellent job helping us select the shutters and installing the new shutters. John visited our house with samples for us to select from, and then followed up with a list of jobs they have done in the past so we can see how the shutters look installed. They were very patient with us as we made our decision and were nice enough to send us a color deck so we could spend more time reviewing the colors. Once the shutters came in, they called to schedule an appointment to install them. Unfortunately the hardware wasn't available on the first install day to complete the install so they had to come back to complete the job, but they handled this very professionally and were honest in their mistake. They came out the following week to install the shutters and exceeded my expectations. I have very high standards for craftsmanship and I have to say they did an excellent job all around. I have already recommended Perfect Fit Custom Shutters to neighbors that are looking to spruce up their exterior.

This company was a real joy to work with. We had plantation shutters in a previous house, but these are by far better quality. They are manufactured locally and the workmanship is really first rate. We got mostly basswood shutters with Thermalite ones on a couple of windows we'd be more likely to have open during a rain. The salesperson and the owner were both very helpful in deciding on the particular type, size, and installation method, and the installers were very professional and courteous. The work was done ahead of the promised schedule, and they did not mind doing the installation in two parts to accommodate some other work we were having done.

The company was really easy to work with. Their rep scheduled a time convenient for us to come out and take preliminary measurements in order to give us an estimate. Once we decided to move forward with the purchase, a second visit was scheduled to take precise measurements and then in 6 weeks the shutters were all installed. The quality of the shutters is good and and everyone we had contact with at Perfect Fit was friendly and professional. They even color-matched our trim work so that our shutters matched perfectly and looked like they came with the house.

They are great & their price is as excellent as their quality. What I liked the most was that they custom set them to my specifications. They were extremely professional all the way, from start to finish.

John Gresh, the company's owner, came to discuss the work to be done. He was very polite, knowledgeable, brought samples of their products, and answered all of my questions. He carefully explained the pros and cons of wood vs. thermalite (non-wood) shutters. I was impressed with his professionalism and liked the fact that the shutters are manufactured locally (it took about six weeks from order date to installation). He gave me a small discount due to a promotion they were running. I chose the basswood shutters, which were matched to the paint color of the trim in my rooms. Walter, the installer, was very punctual, professional, and did a fantastic job. He took a lot of time and care installing to ensure that the shutters were even. When I asked, he patiently applied extra caulking to the seams where the shutters joined the window frames. A representative from the company called the following week to make sure that everything had gone smoothly. I would definitely use them again.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PERFECT FIT SHUTTERS. MARCO THE ESTIMATOR CAME OUT AN MEASURED THE BATHROOM WINDOW AND DISCUSSED WITH ME COLOR AND SHUTTER SIZE. THE QUALITY OF SHUTTER THEY USE IS VERY GOOD. I HAVE ANOTHER SHUTTER IN MY HOME FROM ANOTHER COMPANY THAT DOES NOT WORK VERY WELL AND SEEMS TO BE OF A LOWER QUALITY. IT TAKES ABOUT 4 WEEKS TO GET THE SHUTTER BECAUSE THEY ARE CUSTOM MADE. I REALLY ENJOYED WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY AND PLAN ON HAVING OTHER WINDOWS IN MY HOME DONE BY THEM.
