Nationwide Handyman

I recently moved into my first home after years of renting and my chosen condo was a bit of a fixer-upper. Nationwide Handyman helped make a complicated and time consuming process much more simple. Their experts talked over proposed renovations with me providing quick and accurate quotes. The handyman staff was hard working and very friendly. We were under a lot of pressure to complete the work in time to vacate our old apartment and Nationwide Handyman worked hard to make that happen under tough conditions. I heartily recommend giving them a call for any home renovation needs.

It went really well. They came in, they were efficient. The guys knew exactly what they were doing. They were on time. As they went along, if I had questions they answered them. They cleaned up very well after themselves. They hauled away my old ceiling fan. They were all knowledgeable.

Everything was done as the contractor proposed; they came on time; finished the work as promised; and left a clean workplace

I called Nationwide handyman and an appointment to get an estimate was scheduled within a couple of days. After meeting with the business owner to discuss the project, I received a detailed estimate by email two days later. The work was scheduled for the following week. The handyman assigned to the project arrived on time; he was professional, did a very good job and cleaned the work area afterwards. The day following the repairs, painters arrived at my house to complete the project. They also cleaned the work area afterwards. Overall, the project planning and execution went very smoothly, and the job was very well done. I would highly recommend Nationwide Handyman to my neighbors and friends.

This projected work out very well. Everyone was courteous and timely and the final product looked better than I had imagined. I felt like Domonic had a great eye for design and kept everything in the projected budget.

The first job, power washing and re-staining the deck, went well. I was notified when the workers were coming and they did the work professionally. Top rated. Another crew was used for the remaining work. I was not notified of their arrival; they showed up one morning at 8 am without any notice. The siding was properly installed, although construction debris was left piled behind my house for almost two weeks. The masonite siding on my house is hard to find. The company offered to buy extra that I could store for future use. Overall, their work quality and pricing is good; communications with the customer could be improved.

A pipe in my laundry room was leaking and the plummer had to open several holes in the drywall to fix the leak. The Nationwide handyman was very good. He came in with all his equipment and tools, laid a think pad on my floor so that the tools and equipment could not scratch my floors. He took his time to and paid attention to the details. When he was finished the wall was completely smooth and the wall was prepped and ready for painting. A totally professional job.

The company and the people I spoke with were nice, prompt and very professional. I appreciated the detailed estimate and professionalism deeply. Having stated that, comparing apples to apples (including quality of parts, etc.), the price was slightly more than double (yes double) the two companies I ended up hiring (one drywall and paint company and the other electricians - both companies were licensed, bonded, insured and highly rated). Nothing justified the vast price difference. I would use them in the future because of their professionalism, however, the price would have to be vastly improved.

The rep was very professional and organized. He measured everything twice and did a very exacting job.

Overall, I had a great experience with Nationwide Handyman and will not think twice about using their services again in the future. The owner came out to do the estimate and the price was reasonable. They sent one person to do the job and he was punctual and did a great job. I appreciated how well he cleaned up after himself. In fact, when my husband tried to clean up some of the debris from cutting the drywall the worker asked my husband to stop and that cleaning up was part of his job. There was an extra day factored in to complete the work but we didn't need it. I did appreciate the overestimate though since you never know what might come up and I prefer to be prepared ahead of time. Thanks for a job well done!

He is very knowledgeable. When you get the estimate, he considers all angles of the project. I am looking forward to working with him.

Dominic showed up on time and was completely professional. I gave him a budget of 15K but he said why don't I go for 25K and get what I really want. He then made a whole bunch of suggestions on how to make the bathroom layout make more sense and be more usable. I never considered those types of changes because I thought it would make the cost ridiculously high. I had someone come and quote me 40K for the same bathroom. But I wanted to hear what his suggestions were so I didn't stop him. He told us instead of two sinks go with one double bowl and install a linen closet where one of the sinks currently resides - this is something we sorely need in that bathroom. He also said to go with a pivot shower door instead of sliding pair of doors like we have now - which made room for a pocket door for the commode room which makes that little room feel a little bigger. Really great suggestions. Ultimately we tabled the project because other projects around the house needed to take a higher priority. It was no reflection on him or his company, I think I would hire him to remodel this bathroom in the future. Other companies didn't seem to have the creativity he did, and these are so-called bathroom and kitchen specialists. I'm likely going to give him a shot at the other projects I have to complete before this bathroom remodel.

The service they provided was very professional. They did an initial visit to assess and quote the jobs that I needed done. They also provided guidance for the safest and most cost efficient way to complete the task. Even when the assigned handyman was injured they still showed up on time and with assistance to get the job done in a timely manner.

The experience was personable and professional. There no problems and great assistance was provided in selecting materials and color selections.

I thought they were fantastic. I received a lot of estimates and there prices were very good. He was the only one that got what I was saying. They started at 8am and stayed until 4pm. They really worked hard. The supervisor was constantly coming back to check on the workers. The only thing that I have to complain about was they took their tarp wen they were done and tossed it in the back yard.

The response I got was quite frankly rude so I decided not to go with them. I think the person was dominant. He was trying to be candid about his opinion on certain things but it came out as rude as he was talking down to me. They came on time with the three estimates. I would not use them in the future.

They did what we asked them to do. They showed up on time.

I think it was good but it was a couple of years ago. They were the best. Their price was fair.

When Dominic came out to give me an estimate, he was punctual and professional. The estimate was provided within the timeframe he outlined and the price was very fair. How refreshing! The estimate was very detailed so it was clear what was being provided and there would be no confusion after the job was completed. He also included copies of the company's licenses and insurance certificates with the estimate, which I thought was a nice touch. The job was scheduled and completed without a hitch by his craftsmen. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Nationwide Handyman. All of the correspondence with Nationwide Handyman made reference to how it values its customers. In their case, it's not rhetoric, it's a fact. I will certainly consider this company for future projects around my home.

I like them very much. I wanted fancy trim on the inside, and so I bought the trim, and they installed it for me. A couple of guys came out and they made it look easy. They are eastern European, and they put the trim up before they put the door in. It didn't look good and so I called the manager, and they fixed it.I told him that we were having a language difficulty, and he came right over and sorted it out. I think they are a little bit pricey, very good and worth it. I could have found somebody a little bit cheaper, but they have done a lot of work for me, and even 4-5 years later, the work stands.

I did request 2 additional proposals before going to Nationwide, one of them was very rude, and the other twice as expensive as Nationwide Handyman. From beginning to end the project went very well. The project was under budget and on time. There were not hidden fees and Mr. Santopietro is very knowledgeable, professional and friendly person. We added additional work and the prices were very competitive. The job was clean and my wife and I were very pleased (Happy wife, happy life principle). Dominic and Lisa provided us with insightful information from the selection of the kitchen color to the counter style. The team fixed a serious issue we had with water coming thru the kitchen sliding door and going to the basement. They remove the old floor (like 3 levels of flooring).Now the floor is just beautiful and leveled, no water issue. The team was very respectful and we never had any issues with workers coming in or out the house. They cleaned the area before leaving every day and they didn?t have any issue working over the weekend, if needed. I will recommend Nationwide Handyman to everybody looking for an excellent work with competitive prices in a fair time. I will call Nationwide Handyman again if I need other renovation or repairing at home.

The approximate cost above includes the cost of security gates purchased from a third party. We had used Nationwide Handyman before and had been completely satisfied. This time we were also completely satisfied. We had the trim wood on our townhouse replaced and the security gates installed. The work was done to perfection. The security gates presented some problems but Alvi worked long and hard to get them installed. We are completely satisfied with Dominic and his staff. We would highly recommend them.
