They did such a good job that I added their silver plan (two years of fertilization, weed control, etc). If I see a weed, they come out the next day - no charge. My yard never looked better.

They were very responsive and did a very good job on the recent service. They are a little more on a price but the end product is good.

She came over, and she was very prompt. She had a lot of good ideas for the landscaping part. The part of the reason why I did not chose her was that I needed some concrete poured under the stairs due to some potential land sliding issues. So, I basically got another contractor who could do that and the landscaping together instead of having two separate people. I had no issues whatsoever. She was able to break the ice. I was pregnant at the time and we started talking about kids. She was really friendly. It was extremely hot and she understood that; hot and pregnant was not a good combo. She was very understanding. Her price was comparable to what I was getting from other people. I did not feel like she was gouging me. I got their quote in the e-mail.

To be fair, I did sign a contract and the terms of the contract were there but vague. This company was pricey. $48 per cut considering you can get service starting from $15 on up. I chose this company because I actually grew up in the same neighborhood as the owners and had worked with a family member. I thought the $48 per cut was overpriced as I was paying $25 with my other company but then they were not doing the job so I thought there you go...let's move up to a better company. The first thing I noticed that they were sometimes cutting twice a week which I really didn't need. From there I started to notice that my lawn was being torn up by their mowers. I did not call them because I noticed they put grass seed down and thought well they realize they screwed up and tried to fix it. But it has left ridges in my yard that now leave standing water in my yard. Then I asked for them to weed and trim the bushes. They send me a bill for around $500 for which I was shocked because the yard did not look like anyone did anything. Mowing service went on as usual and 4 months or so later I received a call saying time for end of season "clean up". At that time I did complain that last time the work was mediocre at best. He said it would be taken care of. When I came home the lawn did look very good..... until I got the $800 bill. When I called to complain they said it was 10 hours of work. I said "if it took someone 10 hours of work you need to a**** the capabilities of your guy. Then he said it took 2 hours but 5 guys. 2 hours x 5 guys equals 10 hours. The bill came at Christmas time and I told them I could not afford the $800 so I said I would pay the bill even though I felt like this was excessive but I could only pay $200 a month until paid. They charged me late fees. And, did I mention you have to pay extra for leaf removal.

Received the estimate in a timely manner. They actually came while I was on vacation and did the work. When I got home all was done and cleaned up. I found one rusted chain that they left behind but that was it. Moyers also takes care of my heavy yard work. They come several times a year and do the fertilizing, seeding and aeration. When I first bought my house the yard was in poor shape--brown grass and weeds. The staff from Moyers tried to save the grass but ended up having to kill off the yard and total reseed. They did a great job and my grass looked fantastic when they were done. One of the employees lives several blocks from me and checks to see what needs done in my yard on his way home. I have been very happy with the service.

They were very responsive and prompt when I called to request an estimate in early 2011. They came on a weekly to bi-weekly basis depending upon the season to cut the lawn. The lawn looked good even though it only took them about ten minutes to cut.

I received the quote in a timely manner. Once I decided to have Moyers do the work, they arrived in a timely manner. I was on vacation out of town when the work was done and came home to find it complete. Every thing was cleaned up except they accidently left part of a chain in my front garden. I did not have any interaction in person with the workers.

It did not go well. We have a small lot, and we had asked at the time for a company that would improve the condition of our lawn which had originally been laid with sod, but past mowing companies would not assist with fertilization and weed control-we wanted to pay more if we got help getting our lawn improved. In April, we signed an agreement to do lawn cutting on their schedule, and their highest end spraying/fertilizing package. Their mowers came out on time, but would take a half an hour to mow, and skipped all trimming except for the edges that were visible from the street. They ignored huge weeds next to our property lines, and they would not trim the area near our generator at all, so those weeds were huge. The weed sprayer came out early on quite often, and the seeding and areation took place, and the lawn looked great. But the weed spraying did not cover our entire yard, only the main body of the grass and not the edges of our property, or the area near our generator, so weeds grew higher and higher there, and began to spread. By July, the yard looked terrible-worse that how we started. So by August, we called to complain. Mr. Moyer came out and told us the yard looked to be in poor condition, and gave us a huge estimate to clean up the yard. We told them about the lack of weed spraying and trimming after mowing, and he said the office would handle it. I got an estimate of $2400 to clean up 3 plant beds, and 4 tree wells. He wanted to bring 6 people for an 8 hour day. I told him my son and I had cleaned them once over two - four hours, so we expected no more than that. He said it needed 48 man hours. I talked to friends who have similar services who know our house, and they were as shocked as we were. Worse, we felt it was somehow our fault our yard looked bad, regardless of the fact that we hired Moyers to "improve" it at the beginning of the season.

A strange experience overall - I submitted an estimate request on the website. An appointment was promptly made to come to my house. I have a large yard that is fairly neglected and needs a significant amount of work. I also requested an estimate for lawn fertilization. Although the estimates were performed promptly, there was little to no communication with me as to my wants/needs/plans for the yard. I was not at home when the estimate was taking place. An estimate that ranged from $4000 - $8000 was submitted, price depending "on what I want to have done". Which is exactly why I would have expected a phone call to discuss what I wanted done before the estimate was submitted. There has been no follow up from the company to see if wanted to move forward or if I needed more explanation of their estimate.

Extremly pleased with the quality lawn mowing. Neighbors often compliment me on the way our yard looks. They even removed all the dog toys from the back and pile them up, instead of running them over.

Excellent response time to initial inquiry, ongoing questions, and performance of work. The work was performed as described and looks better than expected a few months later.

They were great. The guy I spoke to, Dale, was very professional. They did an awesome job. My neighbors even saw the work and wanted their card.

Work was done over two days. Day one saw removal of all existing shrubs and removal of debris. Day two started with preparation of beds, then planting replacement plants, mulching and final clean-up. On the previous occasion that Moyers worked here, my wife and I commented that they did not idle but stayed on task. The same was true this time. Although the weather was hot, individuals would pause for a drink of water and went right back to work. We are more than satisfied.

They would always overcharge for clean-up. That's why I don't use them anymore. The quality of their work was generally decent. However, I wouldn't use them in the future.

They do not have technical experience with trimming shrubs and they almost killed one of my hollys. When they put the mulch around the house they put the mulch up to the wood part of the house which is bad because of termites. They left dirty mulch handprints on the side of the house and there was only one person that spoke English and they overcharged me for the service.

This is the second time I've had this same crew for yard cleanup, which I did in two phases. The guys work GREAT as a team, and amazed me both times with how quickly they cleared up the wilderness that was my yard. The lead guy, Carlos, told me that the same crew has been working together for eight years. I was very happy with the work they did both times.

They were very great. They trimmed the tree exactly what I wanted, and the over all work looks great. I was happy with their services.

It was great. They are a company that needs to homeowner to be hands on (you need to tell them exactly what to put where), but they are helpful and nice, and were priced right for all the work they did. We love our landscaping. We use them for lawn service, yard clean-ups, mulching & mowing as well. They are bit pricey for mowing. But for other items they are wonderful. Case in point: I was give 24 hours notice by WSSC that they were going to dig up my yard to replace a sewer line. They were going to take my beautiful cherry tree in the process. I called Moyers in a panic, and by the next day Moyers had moved my cherry tree and replanted it in a new, safe location. 4 months later, and my tree survived the transplant and has spring buds on it!

THEY WERE VERY INCONSISTENT WITH THE TIMING OF MOWING. SOMETIMES THEY WOULD TRIM , SOMETIMES NOT. WHEN THEY DID TRIM GRASS ALONG HOUSE, GARDENS & SIDEWALKS , MOST OFTEN THEY WOULD TRIM THE GRASS DOWN TO THE BARE GROUND SO ONLY DIRT WAS SEEN. WE WERE CHARGED FULL PRICE EVEN WHEN THE WORK WAS NOT COMPLETE. COMPLAINED TO ONE OF THE OWNERS ABOUT THAT AND THAT THEY CHARGED IS FOR MOWING GRASS AND NEVER SHOWED UP. HE SEEMED TO FIND IT FUNNY. ALSO, THE FIRST TIME THEY CUT OUR GRASS, THEY COMPLETELY CUT A HIBISCUS DOWN TO THE GROUND WHEN IT WAS ABOUT 3 FT TALL. OFTEN SHOWED UP TO CUT THE LAWN IN THE MIDDLE OF THE HOT SUMMER SEVERAL TIMES A WEEK.

Cost is per time. They completely cleared our yard of debris for $750 - 10 years of junk.
