Master Fences

My experience with them was excellent. They were very responsive and the fellow they sent out first was very knowledgeable and saved me countless dollars because he was able to lay out options that I have never heard of before, and it turned out to be pretty simple to fix and he took care of the problem. I was fully prepared to have to replace the fences, but he had options for me. He just put new posts in and he said I would be set for 10 years. I don't know how many thousands of dollars I saved. It was a lot. In no time at all they came out. They put the new posts in and did what they needed to do. They were great and they were great in returning phone calls. They were just great in every way.

We never had the fence installed yet but so far it has gone pretty well and they've been responsive and very flexible in scheduling, so far so good. They weren't pushy, we told them we were looking to get the quote and we were hoping to have the fence installed in a few months, we needed to wait a little while and they were fine with that. We have to reschedule a couple of appointments and they were flexible about that too and they didn't seem to have any issues with it and they've done good work so far.

The Master fence company complete work on scheduled day and time. The team did no create a large mess of my yard or disturb my neighbors as with privacy contract companies. The was completed and a call from there office later arrived for a site survey and happiness with the work performed. Overall a great experience.

I really like them. They were on time. When they promised to be here, whether it was for the estimate or the actual work, they showed up on time. The quote that they gave me was what they ended up charging me.

We were able to pick up the type of fence and patio we wanted. They were very nice and timely, but in their design there were several structural things that did not make sense based on what other people had done. They were the cheapest. I went to get a quote from them because I found them on Angie's List. They kind of recommended using material that was like cheaper. I told them I wanted a walk that was like inside the gait, but they said that they actually could not do.

We interviewed 4 or 5 fence companies before settling on Master Fences. Other places were quoting us around $14k for the job that Master Fences did for $10k. The fence took about three days to install. The first day they removed the old fence and put all of the new posts in place. The second day the majority of the fence was installed. The third day all the finishing was done (cutting the dips and putting on the caps, etc.). It was really fun to watch the fast progress. The gentlemen that put the fence up were very hard working. Carlos stopped by the site several times to make sure we were happy with the progress. Our last fence needed to be replaced because it was made from a defective material that cracked in cold windy weather. For this reason, I waited a couple of winters before giving my review to make sure that this new fence was durable. Our yard is not protected by trees etc. from the wind. The fence has held up beautifully over the last two years. The Wyngate design offers great privacy, but also allows wind to go through. It also looks really nice. When the fence was first installed it was a beautify cedar color. Of course the color has darkened since then (as all cedar fences do). However, the fence has held up great! I have no complaints and would recommend Master Fences.

I called several companies and Master Fences was by far the lowest estimate. Carlos came out only a few days after I called, gave me a pamphlet with styles to choose from, and provided me with an estimate on the spot. Carlos was punctual, informative and very friendly. I had a patio built around part of the chain link fence that was to be removed, and Master Fences was the only contractor that didn't insist on digging out a large portion of my patio to replace the metal fence post. Carlos simply said that wasn't a problem, and they could easily extend the metal post to 6 feet without damaging the patio. The workers showed up on time on the day of installation and Carlos came by about halfway through to check on the work. I am very pleased with the new fence and would certainly use them again in the future.

Job was performed punctually and as specified. Fence still looks very good after over 3.5 years.

Service not rendered as described, paid extra to re-do fence, fence was completed July 2012 and at present (March 2013), fence is falling apart and lock does not work. Would not recommend-

They came, they measured, they estimated, and then they swooped in and finished the fence in one day. Excellent!

We called Master Fences to get an estimate for a Wyngate fence and Mr. Carlos Ruano, Sr. came out the very next day. Mr. Ruano was very knowledgeable and curtious and gave us an estimate right away. His quote was in line with another quote we got. We decided to go with Master Fences because we felt most comfortable with the way Mr. Ruano presented the quote (he did not push for a decision on the spot) and answered our questions. We ordered the fence the same day of receiving the quote. Since we already obtained approval from the neighbors (fence was to be built on the property lines) and our HOA, Mr. Carlos Ruano, Jr. was able to get the fence permit within a few days. Ms. Utility came out the day after obtaining the permit and within a week from getting the quote out fence was installed. On installation day, Mr. Carlos Ruano, Sr. came out with two crew members to make sure everything was in order. He returned several times during the day to check in. The two crew members did a great job. They worked very hard and completed the work within one day. We are very pleased with Master Fences and the work provided by Carlos Ruano, Sr., Carlos Ruano, Jr. and the two crew members who installed the fence. We already received several compliments on our new fence and one of our neighbors came over to ask for the contact information. Needless to say, we happily have him Mr. Ruano's business card.

I was so satisified with the first job In 2010, that they were the only guys I called for the second job 1 1/2 years later! You will not be disappointed!

They did a great job. They were available when we needed them and I would highly recommend them.

Carlos came out on Monday and they were able to fix it on Friday. It was a challenge following up to find out when they were coming out but once the date/time was confirmed it went smoothly. The 2 guys that came out were very nice. Worked fast but high quality. I had to run an errand while they were there and they told me if I wasn't back when they finished I could just mail then a check for the balance. I was surprised but felt good about that option because if the work wasn't completed to my satisfaction I would withhold the balance until it was fixed. They were finished by the time I got home but the work was perfect. Dog hasn't gotten out since!

Master Fence was one of several builders that we contacted for estimates. We needed a quote for a new fence for our unfenced back yard. Their quote started in the middle of the pack. But then when we turned them down they started cutting and cutting, in a series of phone calls and voicemails that went on for some weeks. The persistence seemed like unprofessional desperation to us, and really turned us off.

We had been postponing the whole need to redo our fence for much too long. We got quotes quite some time ago, but finally decided to go with Master Fencing for reasons given above. They responded immediately and put up the fence within a few days time. They were prompt and efficient and did everything according to plan. One poor azalea bush got some debris piled on, but since I wasn't there to supervise I wasn't really upset--and it was easily taken care of. They were very conscientious and cleaned up. All was done in a day.

I had three companies give me estimates on replacing my split rail fence. Out of the three Master Fences was the lowest by over $1000. Carlos Ruano, the owner, showed up early to give me the estimate. He was very professional. It didn't take him long to diagram the job and come up with a price. We walked the property line discussing what needed to be done. There were a couple of small trees on the fence line that needed to be removed. Carlos was willing to cut them down at no extra charge as long as I did the clean up and removal. This was fine with me as the other companies told me they would not even start the job until I removed the trees. The job was scheduled for about four weeks later. His crew showed up on time and got right to work. The job took two days only because of an afternoon down pour that no one could have worked through. After they were done I walked the fence line checking all the posts and making sure the wire mesh was attached securely to the fence. Everything was perfect. My property was cleaned up nicely. The only evidence that they were here was a nice new fence. I would definitely recommend Carlos Ruano and Master Fences.

Overall, they did a great job. The fence along the back of our property was rotted and falling down. The people from Master Fences came in and replaced that portion of the fence in a matter of hours. It looks great. There was one thing that give me pause about this company: we had a few lengths of new fencing boards set out near the old fence. The people from Master Fences used them but this was not reflected in our cost. To be fair, I never made the time to call the company and follow up about this.

Very prompt response to call. Gave estimate promptly (which was lower than better known firms). Constructed large area fence in a workmanlike manner. Did not use pre-constructed panels but custom-built every section. Did a great job with hanging the gates.

Not going into too much detail. Project involved railing for a Veterans Day Memorial display.

They were very helpful. They followed up really well. Their estimate was actually the lowest one, I just decided not to use them. They were very responsive.

I got three estimates and this one was the lowest, even though the fencing material was the same for all three companies. I had to put off the work twice, but Pam was very friendly and said that they would honor the original estimate. When we set the date, Master Fences were here on time and did the work very quickly and professionally. Six months later, the fence looks great and is solid. We would definitely use them again.

Excellent. The workers they used were professional and very nice. They were always on time, and they did a lot of work in a short amount of time. The fence looks great, and I can't tell you how wonderful it is to have privacy again.
