It took some time to replace the old fence, but the job done was excellent. After the tree was removed the new fence was installed within a week. Good work, very pleased

An overall horrible experience. They used the worst material you could imagine; the lumber had mold on it. When I confronted them, they got very belligerent. Tried to negotiate and it didn't happen. The latches didn't work, they didn't call the utility companies. They also sent an unlicensed salesman to bid on the job. His salesman license with Maryland had been expired for twelve years. I have a fence now that is a liability and looks awful.

They were prompt . The price they quoted me for the work was fair. They came the day after a storm, and had to remove a very large fallen tree limb to get to the fence. They did that and then got their work done. The amount they charged me to do the additional tree limb removal was fair. Solved 2 problems for me at once.

Amazing!!! The staff are THE kindest most professional team ever!!! They communicated well, provided valuable information and service and performed the job efficiently and beautifully!

We were very happy with the end result. One price factor that seemed high to us was the cost to paint the top of the pole a bright yellow (to caution drivers turning into the alley) - it was approx. $150. We went with it at the time, but in hindsight that was too much - we could very easily have just painted it ourselves at a SIGNIFICANTLY lower price point, and that's a job we could have easily handled ourselves. We also were concerned when they first arrived to do the repairs - the worker essentially said "tell me what we're doing" (and I was happy to walk him through it - but it seemed like there had been no communication about what the job was). The worker also was pointing to locations to install the pole that made no sense (e.g., not even close to the corner point that had been crashed), so we put in a call to the main office immediately to make sure they had communicated the job. Happily I was home (even though I had been told I didn't need to be). Everything worked out in the end, but it did give me pause. Otherwise, they were prompt in returning our calls, scheduling the repairs, etc., we were comfortable with the overall price and the quality of the job. We would use them again for future fence and similar work.

This is the third time we have used Master Fences over the last 15 years. What a great company! Hard working, professional, kind, and courteous! We highly recommend Master Fences!

I can't recommend these guys highly enough. Carlos is extremely professional, punctual and courteous. Sabrina in the office is also very pleasant to deal with. Master Fences had installed our existing fence a few years ago and we called them back to extend the fence further around our property to give our two large dogs more space to run around. We also called them back a week and a half later to install some lattice around our deck. Both times Carlos and his crew arrived for the work (and the estimate beforehand) on time and the staff worked quickly and efficiently. Everything looks great and we couldn't be happier. Pricing was more than fair as well.

They returned with a VERY competitive price, and I got such a good feeling in dealing with them that I didn't call any other fence companies. My faith in them was well reward because they did superb work. They made a couple of recommendations about how to deal with the oddities of the property, and they were all perfectly on the mark. In fact, when I insisted on doing one part my way but then realized that they were right, after all, they re-set the two gate posts at no additional charge. The fence looks amazing, and dealing with them was awesome every step of the way. I simply cannot recommend them highly enough.

Carlos seemed to be fairly laid back and accommodating with job specifics. He was also one of maybe two contractors (out of 8-10) who provided a written estimate of the job (as well as proof of insurance). Carlos dropped off posts the day before work, so we could coat them with a sealant (boiled linseed oil) before they were to be installed. This was super helpful, and I'd guess most contractors would not have been so helpful. I believe the job was started within a week or so of having the estimate approved. Crew came out, with Carlos, and knocked out the job in less than a day. Even though there was a miscommunication between my wife and I regarding which downspout drain needed repair, it did not phase the contractor and progress continued. Besides one small piece of wood used to repair a gate having to be puttied after the fact (there were some unsightly wood-boring insect holes in piece of replacement wood they used), everything went smoothly and looked really nice at end of job. Only caveat, as awesome as the new posts look, we may be regretting not having the whole fence redone :-( Great experience, looking forward to using Master Fences on future jobs.

It went well. They came out as promised and completed the job in one day. A few months later a few of the boards had split and Carlos came out and replaced them right away. He also gave us his name and email address if we had any more issues. Nice guy!

The original bid was for work that I later decided I did not need. I asked for a re-bid without the unneeded work and was given a lower price. The work was well done, on time, and to specifications.

My wife and I were extremely pleased with Carlos and Master Fences. We needed a fence along the back section of our backyard and Carlos was a pleasure to work with. He gave us a very good price and the cedar privacy fence his guys installed looks fantastic. We will definitely hire him again for future fencing needs. Highly recommended!

MasterFences was a joy to work with from the very first contact. Carlos Jr came out to our site twice before we signed a contract to be sure we got the design right. The job began a week earlier than promised so I could get my garden in before it got too late. Carlos Sr and the team were here for a day and a half and everyone was both courteous and professional. They made some adjustments to the design as the work proceeded and the fence looks absolutely terrific - just what we were hoping for. We will call MasterFences for any fence work we need done.

We were selling our house and had 5 split-rails that were in bad shape. I called the company that installed the fence and they quoted me nearly $600 to come out and replace these, and to add salt to the wound, they couldn't install them for 3-4 weeks (I guess the economy must be doing well!) I think the rails themselves are less than $20 each at Lowe's, so I figured I better keep shopping. I contacted Master Fences, and they scheduled someone to come out and take a look. They realized what a small job this was and basically apologized that they did have a minimum charge to send a crew out, which I completely understood, but their minimum charge was considerably less (almost 1/2) than the previous quote, so I had them go ahead and do it. They were able to schedule the work within a week, and the new rails look great! I would definately reccomend contacting Master Fences for a quote on your fencing needs! Thanks!

I have used Master Fences before to repair another area of the tennis court fence as well as building me a fence around my property. Once again they repaired the tennis court fencing and do such a job I can't understand how they can be so good. my compliments to Carlos Jr and Senior for they manner in which they run their business and satisfy the customer. They are simply the best.

Estimator came to my home and measured for a new fence, discussed all the details, provided me with an estimate. I told him I would call within 24 hours with my decision. Same day, he called me and asked if I had other estimates and who were they from. I told him that was none of his business, and later emailed him with my decision not to accept their contract. He is still calling me, and I have put him on the blocked call list. His price was not competitive, and I feel his conduct does not meet professional standards.

They arrived around 8 AM on the appointed day and began their work. When we arrived home that evening the work was completed. 125 linear feet of fencing with two doors and caps on the vertical posts. The owner was their when we left and when we returned. The work was excellent. We would recommend then without reservation.
