I got a quick call when I sent an e-mail and the work was similarly scheduled quickly and conveniently. The team arrived early in the time window and the work was done quickly and professionally. I was very pleased with their responsiveness and the quality of the work.

Very well. Umar and Will were on time, polite and hard working. They did a great repair job where our dog had ripped out the carpet. The stretched areas look so much better! They also cleaned the basement and family room with stairs. They are coming back to do more repair and stretching for us. Their prices may be "slightly higher" than average, but worth it when the work is done well.

Umar did a good job in my rental property, he did it after hours because he was busy which work very well for us, property now looks great and ready to sell.

Umar and Will arrived on time, and took about 2 hours to do the work. They stretched the carpet in one room that had wrinkles. They cut a piece of carpet out of the hallway closet for the patch, and replaced that portion with a similarly colored carpet.

They did an excellent job. Carpet looks brand new and they were very professional.

This is the second time I've used him, and I've found him to be extremely professional and effective. He repaired an area of carpet using a spare roll of carpet that he told me to keep after I hired him the first time to remove a section of carpet where I created a tile entryway. I can't even tell that the spot was damaged. He also did a good job of explaining what he was doing, which took the mystery out of it. His price was completely reasonable (I'd probably call it cheap, after seeing how much more effort it took to repair carpet than I thought it would). My only complaint was that he was about 20 minutes late without calling me. Honestly though, that's nitpicking.

We are preparing our house prior to putting it up for sale. The wall-to-wall carpet in the house needed HELP! I'd gotten quotes to replace it on the first floor of the house and just didn't want to spend that much money... Wondering if I could find someone to stretch it/repair the problem areas, I turned to Angie's List and found Maryland Carpet Repair. I contacted Maryland Carpet Repair - Umar made an appointment to come by the house and provide a detailed quote. We decided to proceed with them. A few days layer, the repair and stretching were completed. About a month later we had them do the carpet cleaning. Wow.. the carpet looks great! I never thought it would be possible... we'd had other carpet cleaners (e.g., Stanley Steemer) try to get out some stains on the carpet to no avail, and had used a home carpet cleaner numerous times, also with no luck. Maryland Carpet Repair got them ALL out... Umar and his team were extremely professional and extraordinarily polite. They did a very thorough job, and knew exactly what they needed to do to to get the carpet clean. Can't recommend them highly enough! Umar was a real pleasure to work with..

My dog dug up part of my bedroom carpet several months ago. I'm getting ready to rent my place out so I needed to finally fix it. I looked here on Angie's List and found Maryland Carpet Repair. They received decent reviews so I emailed them to schedule an appointment. I'm not sure how often they check their Angie's List email, but it did take a day or two for them to respond. That is my only complaint for the whole process. Once they did respond, we emailed back and forth a few times, and then eventually spoke on the phone. I was able to get an appointment that same week. On the day of the appointment, they called to give me a heads up of an ETA. As soon as they arrived, they got to work. I didn't really have any extra carpet, but I did have a small rug that looked similar. They assessed their options, then formulated a plan of action. They took a strip of carpet from my closet and repaired the spot that was messed up by my dog. Then they took a strip of the rug and repaired the closet. They wanted the closet to have the piece that looked slightly different since you hardly ever see it. After just a couple hours, they were finished. Much to my surprise, BOTH spots looked amazing. Not only did the entrance to my bedroom look great, but the spot in the closet looked as if nothing had been done at all! And the cherry on top of it all was the fact that they charged a very reasonable rate. They were very professional & courteous, and as a result, I will be recommending their services to anyone who needs it. I will also likely call them back to clean my carpets when necessary. They were a true pleasure to work with and you should have zero reservations about their quality of work.

Umar Kareem, President of Maryland Carpet Repair and Cleaning and Will came to my house to remove moldy carpet in 2 rooms ruined in Hurricane Sandy and to replace that carpet to match other areas. They were prompt, polite and very professional. In under 2 hours they had removed the damaged carpet, repaired it and cleaned the area, so that you can barely tell where the patched area is. Once I have the carpet cleaned (after the holidays!) I don't think you will be able to see the patch at all. Umar and Will did an outstanding job and I will definitely use them again.

Carpet sales companies told us that if we tried to stretch it, it will probably rip due to the age (12 years old) and the lower quality of our builder's grade carpeting. We gave up on fixing our carpet. A few days before the house listed, my realtor urged me to get it stretched and cleaned. I called Maryland Carpet Repair and Cleaning based on the reviews in Angie's list and Google. I spoke with Umar and he agreed to come out in two days and fix the carpet. Considering my deadline, I was nervous what would happen if he didn't show. Umar showed up and walked the house and recommended what to do and what sections can be skipped to save money. His prices were reasonable and I OKed the work. I was amazed at how hard Umar and his partner worked. They worked over 4 hours and did a beautiful job. We were so impressed, we asked him if they would steam clean the carpets - he came back the next day with 2 crew members and steam cleaning the entire house. Umar and his crew are the nicest, most professional guys we'd ever worked with. We felt so comfortable with them in our home. Our carpets look brand new. First house showing was today and I didn't have to spend $5,000 to replace my carpets. I'm so grateful to Umar and his team for getting us out of tough jam. His prices were very reasonable, the quality of the work and his professionalism and pleasant attitude were remarkable.I would recommend him to anyone.

My prior tenant left a huge brown stain in center of a room on carpet that was one year old. He could not identify it, only blaming his mother in law!! I had it cleaned by another service but could not remove the stain. Umar was able to cut the stain out, replace it with a piece from inside the closet and seam it in. You seriously CAN NOT SEE where the stain was or the patch begins. I was amazed. TOTALLY. It was so impressive that I called in several others to look at it. No one can find the patch. If your carpet is damaged in any way, don't think you must replace it all. Call Umar to see what he can do. He's not only excellent for the value of the service, but he is fast, professional, courteous and humorous. He helped me find good in a bad situation and I can't thank him enough for that. Umar was incredibly responsive and managed to fit me in very early on a Saturday before his first appointment of the day. He and his team were very quick and professional. I highly recommend them.

Excellent experience start to finish. Umar was very responsive to phone calls, showed up on time, did quality work, and came in slightly under budget. He explained what he was doing, showed us the (many) mistakes the original installers had made, then fixed everything to my satisfaction.
