Maryland Carpet Repair & Cleaning

My first contact with Maryland Carpet Repair & Cleaning was over the phone with Umar. He was very helpful, responsive, answered all my questions, and scheduled s time for the work to be done. Gary, the technician who did the work, was punctual, courteous, and accommodating. He called about 1/2 hour before he arrived to say that he was on his way. When he arrived, he introduced himself, gave me a business card and assessed all of the areas that needed work and immediately got started. He was very professional, knowledgeable about carpet and highly skilled. He removed and replaced a 10' piece of old carpet pad in the hall area, replaced the carpet and stretched the carpet that area. When he stretched the carpet, all the wrinkles came right out. The repair was seamless. He then deep cleaned the carpets in the master bedroom den, and living room, including heavy traffic and worn areas and made the carpets look almost new again. He was very careful around the furniture. He took his time to ensure that he went over the carpet thoroughly and did an outstanding job. He was extremely clean and neat and removed all the scraps and debris when he completed the job. I would absolutely use Maryland Carpet Repair & Cleaning again and highly recommend them.

I received a response the same day I sent them a request. I spoke to Umar, who was very pleasant and helpful. We agreed to a price and time for the installation following a few emails. They came out within the time window I was given and performed the repairs diligently. It was raining, so the technician who came out through down a padding to avoid tracking debris in the house. It was a professional job and was done to my satisfaction at a good rate. I would definitely recommend them to people needing similar services.

The provider was punctual and courteous. He assessed all of the areas that needed work and immediately got started. He used the smallest needed section of my remnants to replace the burned area on my carpeting. The repair was perfect! You can't even tell that it was repaired. He also stretched the carpeting in another room and got rid of the ripples that we were seeing in various areas. Finally, he cleaned the heavy traffic area on our stairs and made the carpets look like new again. The service technician that helped us was Gary. I highly recommend him for his professionalism and expertise.

I'm selling my house and the buyer requested that I repair several areas of buckled carpet. Maryland Carpet gave me a rough estimate over the phone and scheduled the repair. Umar arrived on time and did a fantastic job.

Umar was punctual, professional, and did a fantastic job in repairing the ripples in the carpet. Once completed, the carpet was laid out like new. Very satisfied and will definitely call Umar if there is a future need.

They set up a pre installation visit where we reviewed the work desired. We reviewed samples of carpet and decided which carpets to install in each room. We set a date for installation. We had to postpone the original installation date due to a family issue. MD Carpet and Cleaning was very flexible with quickly rescheduling a new date. On the installation date they were prompt. They completely removed all old carpeting and materials and did a thorough cleaning before installing new padding and carpeting. They took all of the old carpeting with them. They finished on time. The new carpet is great and adds to the value of our home.

This provider was outstanding. During my first contact over the phone they were very helpful and gave me a guide to use as an estimate. They were spot on with the actual cost. Next, a gentlemen came in and confirmed what I wanted cleaned and the area that I wanted stretched. He was very professional and was very knowledgeable about carpet. He then stretched the carpet with what I believe was a power stretcher and the wrinkle came right out. Then the Cleaning Tech came and he was professional as well. They both did a terrific job on the carpet. Of course all of the stains did not come up, but that was due to my years of neglect. I will use them again, the equipment use high heat steam and they took the time to ensure they went over the carpet thoroughly. Great job! Great Experience. I would recommend them to anyone.

John the technician arrived on time. I was told that it would be between 12pm and 2pm. He did a fantastic job with the carpet repair and cleaning. Repair was seamless and cleaning was wonderful. The job was done fantastically, very professional. We couldn't have been more pleased. The only thing I would say is to make sure inside the closets are included in the cleaning during negotiation. You need to buy a piece of carpet to replace the one where they took out (which was from the closet). Umar suggestions was to buy some scraps from the local carpet place which was only $30. He was right when he said the exact color may not match but select the closest color/texture you can find. I would definitely use them again.

My son had just bought a condo that had been used as a rental unit, so we weren't even sure we could get al the stains out. The coupon was for deep cleaning of up to 1200 square feet (with up to 10 steps), so they didn't even charge us extra for the additional 10 badly soiled steps (we had 20 in all). It took them a long time and many processes, but they did an amazing job on the carpet! We were also pleased at how quickly the carpet dried, because we wanted to start moving some stuff over that night - and it dried in about 4 hours. They were very pleasant, professional, and punctual. Would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to a family member.

They were really good as far as service, punctuality, price, and quality of work.

They were great - I had tried to months to try to fix it but I could not and then called many carpet places but no one would do it, they just wanted to sell me a new rug. You can't even tell where it was fixed and it is right when you walk in the room. THEY DID A GREAT JOB and saved me so much money because I don't have to now replace it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was running late and when he finally got there I felt rushed. He showed me the samples and I just wasn't very impressed. He was very honest about pricing for what I preferred from Home Depot.

I got a quote about a month ago so that I could get my carpets cleaned after a major bath renovation. Umer came out on time and gave me an estimate, which I considered very reasonable. As soon as the renovations were done I called to schedule the cleaning and got an appt within a week. Will arrived on time and did the full cleaning in about 2 hrs. The carpet looked great after the cleaning. Both Umer and Will were extremely professional, courteous and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them and plan on using them again for future cleaning jobs.

I'd use these guys again without a doubt. Umar was a pleasure to work with. I was very impressed with the repair job they did. You can't tell that the carpet was repaired. Go with these guys.

They were terrific! Umar is the nicest guy willing to be extremely helpful, answer all your questions, respond to your needs. He keeps in close touch at all times, lets you know what is going on. His partner Santos who replaces carpet was excellent, did a great job, was available at short notice and cleaned up beautifully.

The service was fine but they did some damage to my wall and it actually has just been painted. So it has to be painted over because they were pretty big scratches. They gave me a discount for scratching my walls so they acknowledged the fact that they scratched my walls. They were late.

He responded right away, set up the appointment, was very prompt and stretched the wrinkles out of the carpet. I believe it took about 1-1/2 hours. It is still beautiful and smooth today. Excellent job!

Contacted company after checking craigslist. I sent photos of buckled carpet that needed repair. Fairly quickly, I received a quote from Umar for carpet stretching which seemed a little high compared to services I'd had performed by my last repair guy (whose phone number was no longer valid and could not be contacted), so I asked if he was willing to come down at all in the price. I never heard back. Sent another inquiry, trying to resolve. Still no reply. I guessed that he may have been insulted by my asking to lower the price (can't imagine that hasn't happened to him in the past), even though I likely would have hired at his asking price had he told me he could not reduce it. A couple of months later I received a blast email from the company, so even though I was not worthy of a courtesy call back, I was good enough to add to his e-mail list. That sort of irked me, so I asked to be removed, letting him know why, but still received no reply (although I was apparently removed from the e-mail list, or I blocked him, don't remember)

Was wonderful. Staff was very professional. Even applied super stain remover for spots that I haven't been able to get up. Great clean-up afterwards also.

They patched an area that had been damaged by water. Looked great except for I could have been more clear about the seams. They did an area a bit oddly that, to a discerning eye, can be more visible than I'd like. Still, overall job was great and couldn't beat the price/timing.

The men stretched my bedroom carpet to flatten a raised area in the center. |They were careful, courteous and very professional.

They were prompt, worked efficiently and left our home without any mess left behind. We were preparing our house to be sold. The stretched out carpet was so unsightly, I thought we'd have to replace it. It was only 8 years old and still very nice otherwise. I was absolutely amazed to see that the carpet looked BRAND NEW after being re-stretched and shampooed. Because they also repaired a small burned spot AND shampooed the sofa & chair, i was also amazed that they could finish all this in one day. We did a lot of furniture moving before they arrived, so i am sure that helped speed things up. While they worked, they also shared their knowledge and advice on carpet maintenance and overall, it was a pleasant crew to have in our home. When the house went on the market the next week, that brand new fresh carpet was a huge bonus and I am sure it helped with the fast sale (less than 2 weeks on the market!)
