Description of Work: They stretched the carpet. The wrinkles are gone, for now. It looks like some of the seams might loosen in the near future. There's a 5-year warranty, so that provides some peace of mind, if it's honored.

Description of Work: This is the second time I've used this company. I first had a couple sections of carpet repaired from where my cats had scratched it up around doorways. More recently I had urine cleaned out of a section of carpet, including replacement of the pad and tack strips. The crew was always very professional and efficient in their execution.

Description of Work: There were several areas of carpet that needed to be stretched to eliminate the carpet bulges. Areas were the master bedroom, two other bedrooms, a hallway and dining room. Furniture needed to be removed from each of the work areas. I moved whatever I could and left the large, heavy pieces for the professional. He did a great job moving the heavy pieces of furniture and getting the carpet to lay properly. The dining room and second bedroom need to be schedule for a second visit, since two people would be required. |He did a great job, was professional and courteous. One improvement would be to vacuum the carpet before leaving. There were little pieces of carpet all over.

Description of Work: Spoke with Umar on 5/22/12. Explained to him i had a damaged area in my halway and would like to replace approx 10 ft length. I knew this was a small job but he assured me he would be fair with pricing. We made an appointment for service to be done on that Friday between 3 and 4 pm. He called me at 3pm and told me he would be to my house in about 15 minutes. He made repairs in hallway closte and stairs. He cleaned up nicely and left me with near seamless repairs. He was polite and very focused on his work. Even though I was his last appt. for the day he took his time and finished to my complete satisfaction.

+ -1 moreWe had two small spots of pet damage to our carpet that needed to be patched (where our cats scratched up the carpet). Umar responded promptly to my initial message, explained the process for repairing the carpet, and was very flexible with scheduling. He and a colleague showed up when they said they would, were professional and courteous, and did a great job. They were very detailed-oriented, even knowing which corner in a closet would be least noticeable for removing a section of carpet to do the patch, and carefully reviewing their carpet samples to pick a piece that most closely matched the carpet in that closet. I was very happy with the work and would use them again.
Description of Work: Cut out two small damaged sections of carpet, replaced them with patches taken from closets, and patched the "donor" spots in the closets with carpet scraps they provided.

+ -1 moreThe apartment is a rental unit that we own, and our tenants had just moved out so we were looking for quick turnaround in order to re-rent the unit. The apartment overall was in good shape, but there were some areas where it was no longer tacked down and some of the edges and seams were fraying. We called Umar and he was able to provide an estimate over the phone based on the services and size of the room. He was extremely flexiblein scheduling a day and time that was convenient for us. He arrived on time and provided an excellent onsite consultation, providing solutions for our trouble spots. He got right to work stretching and patching, and the carpet looks new again! We're very happy with Umar's services. He allowed us to save money and have an apartment we're proud to show to prospective tenants.
Description of Work: Umar performed carpet repair throughout our entire one bedroom unit, primarily restretching and fixing frayed areas.

+ -1 moreUmar was very professional, punctual, and responsive. He coordinated with the tile contractor (from Handyman Connection) so that everything would go smoothly after the tile was laid. Umar did a great job with the carpet, was punctual, stuck to the quoted price, and got the job done quickly and smoothly. He very obviously has been doing this for a while.
Description of Work: Had to have carpet cut to make room for a tile entryway, laid by another contraction. After the tile was laid, had Umar finish the carpet: tack strips, stretch, place the carpet against the tiles, and tuck the carpet. He also used the carpet that was cut from the entryway to repair another section of carpet in another area of the room.
