They fixed the problem as quickly as they could considering the issue and informed me of another company that could do the clean up etc. very professional..

Mallick was the only company that called back that night, and they told me honestly they couldn't do anything until the Tuesday after Christmas. They came early on Tuesday, explained that we needed to have the flue lined by a chimney company. That didn't make us happy, but we got the flue fixed. Mallick went out of their way to be sure we were scheduled to have the new heater installed before we went into the long New Year's weekend. Their crew was great!

The work was highly expert and professional, the plumber — Chad Brunner — courteous, and the service altogether first-rate. It Included a free checkup of the water heater. Couldn’t have been better!

Our old water heater was fading fast. Mallick was able to provide a quote (after reviewing several options) and then complete the work within the following week, which was just before Thanksgiving. They arrived one time and removed the old water heater and installed and tuned the new one (electric unit) in less then 4 hours. It has been working great ever since. I would definitely recommend them for consideration for your next plumbing/heating project.

They were willing to come right away. It as at the end of the day, so the repair person located the hole in the pipe and attempted to slow it down. They had someone come very early the next morning to repair the whole thing.

They are always polite and professional. Very good about covering their shoes while inside the house, and cleaning up after themselves. I have worked with several of the gentlemen and all have been very knowledgeable and quick.

I called 4 vendors and they were the first to answer and also be able to come out the same day. They were upfront about how much it would cost when I spoke with them over the phone (rates for time + equipment charges). There were no unexpected charges when I received the bill. They unclogged the drain in a reasonable amount of time and were on their way. Some reviews have referenced them charging for time spent writing up the bill. This seemed to be the case for me as well, but I imagine they round up to the nearest 15 minutes - so my bill wasn't higher than it should have been. I was charged for 45 minutes total and when they left my house, they left my house to get me an invoice, they had been there for 35 minutes. I will use them again if I have another issue.

I had one of the other guys who advertise heavily on the radio. They didn't even look at my water heater and just quoted me an exorbitant fee for replacement. I called Mallick and they sent Chad to me. There were differences right from the start! Chad came in with tools! Ready to see if replacement was even necessary. He was able to fix my water heater and even told me I should still have some use out of it. And Chad was also friendly and explained what he did. I didn't have a plumber before but I do now! Based on my first experience with them (and probably not last) I whole heartedly recommend Mallick Plumbing and Chad!

The plumber is coming today. They came out four months ago as well. Very pleased with their work.

We've used them the last few years. I don't remember responsiveness being an issue. I'd use them again, they are our go to plumbers.

Excellant. Chad arrived promptly, actually early. The work was done efficiently and professionally without any BS attempts to sell me something. Chad was personable but didn't dally from the work. He accomplished in 2 hours what I could have done in 5 hours. Mallick is decidedly our go-to plumber service.

Perfectly. Mallick got the tank covered under manufacturer warranty, so that saved us at least $1200.

They did their work fine. They charged me a $156 after an Angie's List discount. I could've tried to do it myself. I even called them and told them the toilet was running because of the flush valve or flapper valve. I diagnosed it myself. I chose them because they were rated "A" on Angie's List. They came out and stuck a rubber flapper on there. They waited around for 20 minutes and put dye in the water to see if it was leaking. These people are professionals and they should know these kinds of things. Maybe 5% or 2% of the time there is another issue than what they fix, but by and large they should stand by what they do and fix the flapper valve, and leave. To me, it's a $100 job, not a $156 job. I would've stuck the rubber flapper on myself because I could easily go to a store and get it for $20, but we had guests coming that weekend. We had come back from vacation, and it was leaking enough to where my wife said since the guests were coming, we had to definitely make sure the toilet was working fine, so I went out and got this guy. I would not use Mallick again. The reason why is because it is unacceptable to me to charge $156 to come out for 20 minutes and stick a flapper valve in. This is not San Francisco or New York City, it is Washington, and I realize it's high. If it would've been Paducah, KY, it would've been a $50 job. I am agitated. I thought they did the job properly, but their expense was far exceeding what it should've been.

Our hot water heater was leaking and we needed a replacement. Since we were expecting visitors it was very important to us that the work be done quickly. Mallick Plumbing was able to do the work quickly and efficiently. The installation was done on May 5, 2017 and I am writing this review on July 25th. The new hot water heater has operated without problems since installation. I've given them A grades in every area except price. I gave them a B rather than an A primarily because I had no real basis for comparison-I didn't get multiple estimates. The total bill for the work that Mallick did included charges for some items that were not directly related to the hot water heater installation-replacement of a pressure regulating valve for the water supplied to the house and replacement of a dual check valve intended to prevent backflow from the fire control sprinkler system to our water supply system. These additional expenses were significant, but I believe that replacement of these items was appropriate. The installer explained the problems and answered my questions. (I also checked online and confirmed that, according to WSSC, the check valve should be replaced every five years.) I would suggest that anyone using Mallick check their website to see if they are eligible for any discounts (e.g. a senior citizen's discount.)

Mike C. explained that the chlorine tablets we had been using were likely causing or contributing to the problem, and I greatly appreciate that he took the time to tell us that. He had to spend quite a lot of time finding a customized solution to our defective handle and he persisted until it was fixed. Excellent job, and I wouldn't hesitate to call him out for our next plumbing needs.

Chad was punctual, courteous and did a nice job. He also checked home water temp/pressure and made a few suggestions for the water sprinkler backflow. A major concern was my understanding of hourly rates. I understood the rate to be $145.00 for the first hour and $45.00 per hour thereafter. Evidently, the $45.00 rate was for the quarter hour. That means I paid $180.00 per hour, which I feel is outrageous. I've never seen where the first hour was cheaper than subsequent hours. I expected labor charges at most to be $400.00 And was surprised to be charged $780.00 for 4.5 hours. Had I understood the charge to be $180.00 per hour, I would have hired another company. The job was well done but will not use this company due to pricing. Lesson learned; require in writing, the hourly rate or job cost before aproving work. There was also an issue with the ring on the dome of the new shower plate. I drove to Lowes for a replacement ring that was not used.

I am very pleased with Mallick Plumbing - their professionalism, courtesy, quality of work, and prices. I called Mallick plumbing in April 2017 to clean out an outside drain. They were very flexible and gave me a choice of dates and time to fit my schedule. The technician arrived as promised and also called to let me know he was on the way. We made arrangements for the company to return the following week to purchase and install a new faucet for the basement sink. He also replaced the washing machine valves and fixed a flawed pipe. The work areas were left exceptionally clean.
