Description of Work: Called for an estimate. Estimator arrived late. Seemed distracted. Left quickly and never sent the estimate. FAIL.

Description of Work: Two jobs in 5/07 ($5K) and 2/08-4/08 ($22K). Wheat did two projects for us (plus a minor repair since then). First they installed a washer/dryer in our 2nd floor master bedroom closet. We chose them based on price, Angie's List reviews, and most of all suggestions from the estimator, Brian, who was able to see potential problems that other plumbers (and actually, he's not a licensed plumber I believe) missed. (I asked another plumber about the problem, and he looked sheepish that he hadn't thought of it, agreed it was a problem.) They started even sooner than expected -- called us when another job cancelled, and we were thrilled to jump at the earlier date -- and finished on time. Wheat also added a full bathroom in our home a year later. We had a number of tangential projects, beyond the plumbing (such as moving a back door, where the bathroom was going in, and extending our deck), that Brian handled for us, separate from Wheat (but with their knowledge and blessing). The job ran a little late, but only because of a fixture that was late coming in, and problems getting the tile subcontractors here (which Wheat fixed, got them over here right away, when I complained). For a big job, the delay was pretty minor. My only criticism -- we were somewhat limited by the fixtures we wanted -- couldn't get a frameless shower through them. (I suspected that would be a problem before we signed the contract, though, and was willing to give up the frameless shower for the right contractors.) Wheat also has very professional, friendly staff who answer the phones.

Description of Work: I have a contract for them to service my plumbing and heating.
