We had a GFI problem that Eric diagnosed and fixed quickly, charged the minimum repair rate -- well worth it.

eric was receptive to the situation right away and offered to come out before any delivery -- and at no cost to us -- to see if we could make adjustments for dryer and if not, what our options were. he was very friendly and helpful and always easy to reach. he determined that the condo had sufficient juice going to the outlet, and told us that the cord could be changed on the dryer and to proceed with the delivery. eric even texted me a copy of the instructions in the manual showing the steps for changing the cord. what followed were two failed attempts to install the appliances because 1) the delivery guys said they didn't know about the 3-hole outlet with a 4-prong plug..and 2) that they wouldn't let eric switch the cord because they weren't told by the salespeople that this was okay to do. (I personally had a conversation with them and they saw what eric sent me from the manual.) during that second attempt, eric was at the site waiting to do the work and eventually just had to leave. I cancelled that purchase and bought the same items from another seller, whose delivery people themselves switched the cord if needed. so after all his time, research, instruction and patience, eric didn't even get work from us. but he sure will be on the top of our list the next time we need an electrician. he's a rare find -- knows his stuff and a super nice guy.

The suggestion he made worked and it didn't cost me anything! Talk about quality, honesty and integrity. Although I didn't use their services this time, J&G has earned itself a new customer.

I am so thankful I went with J&G Electric. Their technician, Eric, squeezed in a time for the work in just 2 days. Eric arrived on time and worked hard to find the issue (loose wire in a bathroom light fixture) in a short amount of time. He was courteous and friendly. Eric made every effort to educate me on what he was doing and why he was doing it. The price for the work was very reasonable and beat or matched other contractor estimates. I will definitely use J&G Electric again. I live in a very old home and things are constantly breaking. It is a huge relief to have a "Go To" contractor for any electric work moving forward. I would highly suggest this company for any shopping for a new Electrical contractor.

Joey was not able to come in until next week but offered to walk me through how to test if it was a power issue or an appliance issue. It was really easy for him to just say "Busy, sorry." but he took the extra few minutes to give me free advice. I'd hire him if I could wait but if he's that responsive and helpful without even knowing my name, then he's someone I would be glad to give business to.

Eric came out promptly on time (I actually slept through his initial attempt to come by due to meds I"m on conking me out - oops - but he was really nice about it) and took great care and was a delight to work with. Highly recommended! Obviously knew his stuff, as we'd had others out to look at some of these issues and they just kinda shrugged their shoulders and only wanted to charge us for the diagnostic fee without to doing any work. Theses folks will actually do what you need done, and do it with a smile. Good folks.

J&G Electric did a fantastic job solving the problem. Joey Bellosi (Master Electrician) and Craig (who is currently serving as apprentice) arrived at my house as originally scheduled. Joey was extremely attentive to my description of the problem. He asked clear questions and was very good about checking his understanding of the situation before beginning the work. He's an excellent communicator. Based on my description of how the problem occurred, he started investigating problems at the electrical panel. He meticulously examined the panel and discovered multiple problems. He found loose connections throughout the panel which he tightened. He also found that three multi-wire branch circuits were incorrectly wired. He re-wired these to balance loads correctly. Beyond the panel, he and Craig discovered that the GFCI receptacle in the bathroom was improperly wired. After all of these problems were fixed, the electricity was restored in both the bedroom and bathroom. Throughout the process, Joey was very clear about explaining exactly what he was doing and why he believed it would work. Overall, the work took about 2.5 hours. I was extremely pleased with the experience and will surely go back to J&G if we ever have electrical problems in the future.

Great; Eric responded immediately to my request and scheduled a time that worked for both of us. He showed up on time and prepared (including with replacement parts) and had both problems diagnosed and fixed in short order and at a reasonable cost.

Eric was awesome! He arrived early and also made sure to keep contact with us and answer any questions we had. He was efficient and the pricing for all that was done was reasonable. Would definitely use again for future projects.

The electrician appeared to do a good job installing the GFCI. The one thing that bothered me was the final price, keep in mind the price increases every 30 block (e.g., 1-30, 30-60). Let me explain. He was in my home approximately 40-45 minutes, I knew this because I had the phone time stamp from the time he called so I could let him in the building. For a job that should have been done in 30 minutes or less, he spent a lot of time talking and explaining that cost me considerably more. I did not think about this until he left.

I had bought the deal to install two hard wired smoke detectors. I have found in the past that sometimes providers who offer deals are overwhelmed with work, so I tried to be very clear about the other work I needed done. Even so I think there was more work than was expected. The electrician was wonderful - professional and very knowledgeable. When he arrived and fully understood the scope, he called his office to notify them of the time involved. He spend the better part of the day doing the work. There were some unknowns and unexpected issues with the dedicated circuit and the fan hookups, and he came up with great solutions. He had given an accurate estimate before starting the additional work, and I was happy to pay for the quality job I felt I got. That said it seemed a little on the expensive side to me, but maybe this was due to my limited experience with electricians.
