Our custom home had its 15th birthday this year, and that was about how long the list was of mid-sized electrical problems that had built up over the years. I had also purchased a fine art lighting system for a wall gallery that is about 25 feet long and needed a circuit and hardware installed. Eric of J&G is a real can-do guy. He handled everything in two trips with a gung-ho confidence that is rare to see these days. Highly recommended.

Master Electrician Joey Bellosi heard my voicemail message describing an obsolete alarm power supply bolted to the outlet with additional wires protruding from the wall and personally called me back in 15 minutes. Rather than charging me money for a simple job, he patiently walked me through the steps to safely disconnect the power supply from the wall by myself (and also correctly guessed there was a battery in the alarm system's cabinet that needed to be disconnected, too). Problem: Solved. Cost: Free. Knowing I've found such a great electrician, I'm going to think see if I can find some projects for him that will actually cost money, so I can pay him back for his kindness. Thank you, Joey!

Eric was terrific. Arrived super early the day of service. Did the job really clean. Managed to run three new circuits to 5 existing outlets on the second floor without punching even one whole in the wall. Will be glad to have him back for some more work.

Eric accessed the attic, and installed a motion detector light on the side of the house near the driveway. Eric provided me a choice of white or black lighting fixture and made sure to test the system for functionality. It was a pleasure meeting and having Eric provide electrical services. I will definitely use J&G Electric Company again.

It went very well, the electrician was very knowledgeable in his area of work and the price was very reasonable. He was on time , very professional, and the electrician did an outstanding job, and I would recommend this company to any of my friends who needs electrical services done in their home.

Eric has done an excellent job on every single project. He has worked his way through the quirks of a 1926 house that has been updated and remodeled in various phases. He is extremely skilled, likes the challenge of figuring out an old house, and has the patience to make adjustments when needed.

Scheduled the appt. I told them our HVAC company diagnosed the problem with the heater as a bad breaker. Scheduler assured me the electrician has 30 yrs experience so he will no issue. 20 min before the appt., the electrician called to say he was enroute but the scheduler quoted the price for one electrician. There were 2 on the truck so we could either pay a higher rate and get the job done faster or only one electrician would do the work. The person calling is the owner with 30 yrs experience. We informed him that it is a simple job and we would stick with the lower rate. Upon arrival, the owner of the company sat in the truck and the electrician who came is had way less than 30 yrs experience. He performed what should have been a 15 minute repair in 32 minutes to ensure they could charge an additional $94.50. The worker did fine but clearly had direction to go slow. I chose this company because of its ratings on Angie's List and the potential for 24-hr emergency service if I ever needed this service in the future. After this experience, I would never work with them again. Imagine how unprofessional it was for the OWNER to call and demand more money or he would refuse to do the promised repair himself. This was a very short-sighted decision on his part. Instead of developing a relationship for long-term work, he made sure we would never work with him again, all for $94.50. Do not use this company - they are thieves.

Eric arrived on schedule to fix faulty wiring in the master bedroom. He explained the problem and quickly found a solution. Eric is friendly and professional. J & G Electric remains my electrician of choice.

They did the work as promised and responded quickly when I called to schedule. However, the electrician used inferior parts, and the light still isn't working properly. Specifically, he didn't have the appropriate switch and had to use a different one. It should be noted though that I didn't follow up with the company about these issues.

Provider was very professional and knowledgeable. Troubleshooted the problem quickly and fixed it. I'm very satisfied with their work. Price seemed reasonable, but I didn't get any other estimates as I did not know exactly what was wrong beforehand.

I have worked twice with J & G and they have done a great job both times. They are very responsive, give fair quotes, come when they say they will come, and do very professional work. A couple of months after installing the smoke detectors, they started going off for no reason. I called J & G and got help working out the problem very quickly.

Eric did a fantastic job fixing the various electrical issues around our house. He is extremely hard working and a pleasure to deal with.

Joey arrived on time and got right to work with the installation. He completed the work to our satisfaction. When we discovered that one of the poles we had purchased to drop the fan from the ceiling was too long, he uninstalled the fan, made the adjustment and reinstalled the fan with unexpected enthusiasm and without charging more than he had originally estimated. He did good work and we will use him again.

Involved a creative solution to a vexing problem. Work done was excellent. Eric is competent, friendly, and prompt.

Joey (the owner) came out and quickly did the contracted job (whole house surge protector). He offered us a deal to check the circuit box and wires (which we took) and everything went well. He gave us monitoring information, general information on the surge protection, and even answered several questions we had - some of which were unrelated to this particular installation. We were very pleased with the job and even got a couple of estimates for possible future work.

We have used J and G for several new outlets and to replace a light fixture. They are now our go-to electrician. They go above and beyond and a very easy and efficient to deal with. You can call and they answer (instead of an answering service). You can send photos and discuss the job by phone and generally get a quote that way. They show up on time, communicate in detail in advance, and the process is very efficient and predictable. I find this so much more refreshing than dealing with the large company, who will send anyone available at the time, insist on quoting things you don't want or need, and often charge very high prices for small jobs.

The contractor arrived on time, was professional and courteous, and did the job quickly and with no problems. Overall, great service!

For starters, J&G provided a free estimate and not many electricians do that any more. Its price was absolutely fair. We had received other prices, but J&G's was reasonable and appropriate given the work we wanted done. J&G's electrician, Eric, was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and quite capable. We have a very old plaster ceiling and he patiently cut holes for the recessed lights so that we don't have to do any remedial plaster repairs. Eric also successfully looked ways to accomplish our goals and reduce the cost. The end result in the dining room is beautiful new lighting that dramatically lights the room at a very good price. The outdoor lighting is on our very long driveway. Eric took the time to expertly hide the wires, he used appropriate all-weather fixtures (something a prior electrician had not done), and threw in a few extras to solve a small problem for us. Again, Eric's knowledge and expertise shown through his work. We are very satisfied with J&G's promptness, timeliness, price, quality, and professionalism. They guaranteed all their work, gave us their cell phone number, and encouraged us to call if we had a problem. We will use them again.
