If I could give Helix Moving 10 Stars I would. I had two gentlemen, Angel and Axle handled my move with such professionalism, concern for my furniture and placement. They were so knowledgeable on the types of furniture….For example, I have a “Sleep Number” Bed that in previous moves the movers could not handle it….Angel and Axle…no problem! Amazing moving services, did a 2bdrm local move for us with full packing services in less than 8 hours. They had a very fair price and great team (Daniel, Rolando, Fernando, and Carlos) to do the work. Would highly recommend!

Highly recommend Helix for your moving needs. Hired for a local move - and eveyrthing went 100% smooth. Communication was great and everything was on time. Manny and Fernando were a great crew - super efficient and careful.

I booked with this company recently since they were recommended by my sister who had a very pleasant experience with Gerson and Leo. They also handled my moving this past weekend and they were very quick and mindful of the furniture, placed everything carefully with no damage. They were very polite and explained the moving process clearly. I would highly recommend their service. Thank you Gerson and Leo for making a stressful process very quick and easy!!

Helix did a great job!

First of all the movers is very aggressive with bad attitude. They forced me to take an insurance without allowing me to fully read the contract. There was a dispute on the hourly billing rate I contacted customer service which was unhelpful, unfriendly and unapologetic. The sales rep was upset I was disturbing him on his day off. He then told me that he make his mover leave my furniture in the parking lot. The movers broke a glass desk. I have not gotten a follow up from the company for the reimbursement yet. Do not use this company.

Mine was a small move - moving some things from my brother's place near Culpepper, VA to my place in Silver Spring, MD. Helix did not insist on a $1,000 minimum. Every member of the Helix Moving team was easy to work with, provided clear information, and performed the move with no complications. Further, the actual cost came in well below the estimate. I will definitely use their service again.

The Helix crew were extremely responsive, kept in communication with me about my urgent move and did a fantastic job! They unloaded and disposed of a few boxes for which I hadn’t requested & I am very appreciative! My furniture was well protected and they were very efficient during the actual move. Also, the price was competitive. Overall the team was highly competent. I will use Helix for all my future moves!

Bladimir, Fernando, and Carlos were awesome! Arrived ahead of schedule and started right away. Even with the stairs at apartment moving from to the stairs at apartment moving to, they knocked it out in no time. Professional, courteous, great customer service. Will recommend Helix Transfer & Storage to others and would use again.

This was a local move. Helix moved a very heavy trifold, standing mirror and a large, rice-paper shade lamp. They disassembled and boxed up all objects and were VERY careful. Everything was reassembled perfectly at the new location and the heavy standing mirror was shifted a few times within the room to get the location perfectly satisfactory. The men from Helix were professional, skilled, and courteous. I would definitely use this company again for any move.

Everything went smoothly from first email to final move. Hard to find great service these days. Helix Transfer and Storage renewed my belief in good customer service.

They rolled the mattress up which could have damaged it, with two men and a large truck there was no need to roll it up

This was actually one local and one long distance move at same time All my friends say they would never move again.. except to the grave! I sayâ ¦ hire Helix, Manny and Fernando! Manny and Fernando were so professional, helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable that they took away the stress completely. . In fact, as they packed and sorted Manny kept saying.. pls don't worry and watch. Us. There is no stress. Throughout they would also say â is everything rightâ ? I cannot speak more highly of this company and its movers except yo sayâ ¦ manny and Fernando definitely are major assets for this company â ¦ and deserve a raise! Thank you Helix!

Phenomenal professional team. They took care of all our belongings with everything arriving intact to the new house. The team assembled all the furniture and make sure that it was in the same condition as when they originally picked it up. Highly recommend for any move.

We desperately needed to move furniture at the last minute and Helix came through. They sent over Jorge and Eliot and they handled this tough furniture move amazingly. They worked through the heatwave and carrying heavy furniture up flights of stairs. I would definitely recommend them and Helix. Bravo guys. You really came through.
