We did a consultation with Steve before we moved in, and set up an appointment for after our move, which was a month out from the first visit. Steve and his crew of two arrived on time. They began by clearing up the garden of overgrown plants, weeds, leaves and other sundry objects that had collected over a few months of neglect. They pruned, lopped, cut down a tree that was preventing sunlight from falling on the smaller flowers around the garden, they moved some plants around so they would be in better lit locations, and trimmed overbrown branches on a few trees. All along, Steve talked me through the work he was doing, providing information on the trees and flowers in the garden and showed me how to work with the various gardening tools. As a total newbie to gardening, I found this incredibly useful and rewarding. I can’t thank him enough for making it seem like this is something I could take on and making it seem less intimidating. After several hours of non-stop work, the garden started to look great. They fertilized and mulched and watered the garden. I then asked Steve to look at the back of the house to show him a tree and a vine growing there to seek his advice on what to do there. He saw that there was a lot of debris from the renovation work that had not been cleaned well, and the perfectionist that he is, he immediately took out his blower and cleaned up the whole place, including the garage! Thanks to Steve and Gardens Remembered for making the whole look great both front and back!

Garden's Remembered is primarily a landscape and garden maintenance company. I was looking for someone to design and plant a 500 sq foot garden in my back yard. This was beyond the scope of their primary business. However both Steve and Gabrielle the owners were extremely friendly and helpful in providing referrals to other companies that do landscape design work. I may use them for maintenance once I have the garden installed. Even though I didn't have any work preformed their professionalism and helpfulness stands out. I would not hesitate to recommend you contact them if you have landscaping or garden maintenance needs.

Ba.sed on the reviews of Gardens Remembered, I wanted to hire the company to landscape my front yard. Steve quickly informed me that, given the large size of my garden, his company was not the most suitable one for the job. GR maintains gardens, and landscapes smaller ones. I was very pleased Steve did not waste either my time or money. He was quite friendly, and a few days later Gabrielle emailed me the names of landscaping companies that would be more suitable. This simplified my life, and I plan to invite GR to maintain my garden once it is landscaped. Steve and Gabrielle are honest, respectful, and easy to work with. I recommend them highly.

Beautiful! Our yards, patio and front porch were colorful, freshly planted and will last us through November. Bulbs for spring are ordered and will go in next month!

Steve Horn and his team at Gardens Remembered went the extra mile in helping us get ready to sell our home. They had done a spectacular job designing and maintaining our gardens for several years, and when we made the difficult decision to sell, they did everything they could to help show the house to best advantage. They would even keep in touch if there were going to be showings and come spruce and clean up the gardens. I write about their work in helping us sell our home because it was the latest time I used their services.
