I am SO pleased with this experience with GAC and highly recommend them! OUTSTANDING information and research on our behalf by Kelly for estimate options and finding the best unit and price for our needs. Chris was very impressive when he came to our home for preparation of the HVAC air handler/heat pump installment. Top notch work by John and the GAC crew on the actual work putting in my unit. They gave us the option and were qualified to run/install a new wire for our electric needs to have all energy savings of the equipment. Easy scheduling with Monica and follow-up too. ALL the GAC staff were happy to answer our various questions in full detail so we understood everything in this project and could make informed decisions. GAC found a high quality unit (Bryant) that suited our needs AND qualified for a PEPCO rebate, which they quickly filed on our behalf. We have been customers for years with GAC for maintenance and with this install, plan to be for years to come.

Everything went like clockwork. Five guys showed up. Each one had his part of the work. They were polite, professional and knowledgeable. The final product was excellent.

They came out the next day. They're very good and I am always happy with the service. I have been using them for 5 years. They take good care of me.

My experience was fine. I went with this company instead of another company because of the reviews I read on Angie's List. It took them about a half a day to install the air conditioning unit. I think it was 3 workers that came out.

Very happy with them. I have used them since I first bought the house in the early 80's. They installed my system. They let me know what they do or don't find when they come for the inspections. They used to have a piece of paper that was what they found or didn't. Now it's automated so you get an email.

They have recently included electricians to their company.

Excellent. The initial visit from the person looking at our needs and giving us an estimate was very impressive. We had also had an estimator from Cropp Metcalf who was NOT helpful and gave us a two line estimate that he jotted down at our kitchen table just before he left. The price was much more reasonable from GAC and saved us a considerable amount. When they came to do the installation, the crew was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable, and everything went so smoothly. We are so pleased with our new system and will happily recommend GAC.

Fritz B. was my sales rep and he clearly knew what he was doing, including making a few minor recommendations that were in my financial interest. Easy to set up the scope of work. The grew was great, came in and did a great job, took about 6 hours. They even rerouted the exhaust flue for my hot water heater even though they did not replace the heater because the install guy Chris said "they did this dumb". Overall a great experience and I would recommend.

Another technician came out, identified and fixed the problem AT NO CHARGE because he said it should have been addressed during the bi-annual check, before it created a problem with the unit. This is not the first time we've have exceptional customer service from them, either. Highly recommend them.

GAC's office staff is amazing! They were incredibly friendly over the phone and were able to schedule my emergency heat call within hours. I had an issue with the WiFi thermostat that came with my new system. At my request they replaced it with a regular thermostat and made it right by giving me a refund. I will definitely use GAC again!

Angie's List reviews made me go with GAC Services for a new furnace and air conditioning unit. Five mechanics showed up early in the morning in three trucks. They were clean cut young men and very polite. They made a lay down area in my basement with blankets. They wore covers over there shoes while in and out of the house. They were very respectful of my home. They worked non stop until 5:00 PM. They had a separate sheet metal mechanic that showed up and did really nice sheet metal work. I was impressed. After a year went by my thermostat went out and they came out and replaced it free of charge. I signed up for the maintenance contract and they come out twice a year . Once in the winter and once in the summer. Another part went bad after two years and it was under warranty and they replaced it free of charge. They are honest and reliable. I highly recommend them.

They cost is included in our yearly contract which is $150 I think. They were efficient, on time and they explained everything they were doing and recommendations for the future but they weren't pressuring me into anything.

OK. They charged for a service call in addition to the cost of the replacement part and installation. Other service providers waive the cost of the service call if you have them fix the problem on the spot.

I would use them again in the future.

Their professionals are extremely good at what they do cause my dad was a builder so I know construction real well. They're extremely knowledgeable what to do, they explain everything, they show you everything and they put it in and everything works like a charm.

They have an excellent process in place and really know what they are doing. They had the usual sales visit, and sent an estimate to my email with links embedded so that we could easily review the products they were suggesting. Once we decided, they set up 2 visits: the first was a "quality assurance" (QA) and the second visit was for installation. At the QA visit, the technician recommended that we downsize from the suggested model, since that model would have overpowered our smaller vents and caused alot of noise and made the unit less efficient. Not only did this mean a smaller sale, they also offered us a discount for the inconvenience. We still wanted a 2-stage model, and they worked with us to find the right model for our needs without moving our installation date. We have been very happy with what they installed, and the installation was really efficient. I would completely recommend them.

It is all good, this is why I always kept going with the same thing.

The service was good, one technician came out and discovered the problem, another technician that was more experienced was sent out and two other technicians fixed the problem. I have been using them a long time and they installed my replacement unit.

They were prompt and they fixed it. It wasn't cheap. It was $600 or something just to replace the capacitor and add Freon, which seemed like an awful lot of money to me. They were able to come quickly, when we needed them to. They fixed it right away. I was happy about that. They didn't try to sell us a whole new unit, which would have been thousands of dollars. They didn't make us wait for them to come back. So, I was very happy about that. He was in and out, probably within half an hour, from what my husband told me.

They were fantastic. They were very organized. They installed the whole system during a snow storm.

A great crew of four/maybe five men showed up exactly as scheduled on a horrible rainy day to do their magic. It was raining so hard, they installed a tent outside to do all their work on the air conditioning unit which required working with high voltage wiring in a driving rain storm The crew worked extremely well together with each person being responsible for creation parts of the system. Kind of like watching a crack drill team. They removed some extremely dirty furnace parts but left no dirt in our house. Except for this bright new shining furnace, one would not even know they had come and gone. Major job of re-wiring new unit also, as all the old wiring would not work on new system Both units ....air and heat worked perfectly from the get go, as we did need heat for several days and then switched over to air as we moved into May. Absolutely super company to work with all around and will use them for our semi annual system checks. You need a new system, don't be foolish......call these people because they know what they are doing.

It takes a long time sometimes to get an appointment with them.
