Description of Work: We have an annual contract with GAC to keep our AC/furnace in good working order. They come out twice a year for tune-ups, and provide a filter for the unit. I couldn't say how the price compares to other service providers, since we've never used anyone else in the 26 years that we've owned our house. But during that time, we've been pleased with their punctuality, professionalism and service. A couple of years ago, we weren't getting any A/C, and they correctly diagnosed a blocked filter over the phone, suggesting that we swap ours out. Problem fixed without a service call. We recommend them highly. The $204 is the annual service contract fee.

Description of Work: First, they told me that I had a leak in my air conditioning system, and said it would be difficult to find. They refilled the system with refrigerant and came back with three estimates for a replacement HVAC system. They also told me I would need a chimney liner to meet the current building code. They recommended Priddy Clean to install the liner. After the liner was installed, the technicians returned and removed my old furnace and air conditioning system and replaced it. The new system has worked well, and the installation went smoothly. They also contacted me to make sure I received a couple of rebates, one from PEPCO and one from the a/c manufacturer. | |I am pleased with the service, but, of course, I'll have to wait a few years to see if it leaks.
