The representative inspected the furnace for this upcoming winter, checked the gas lines, gas pilot light and did some general cleaning of residue and replaced the filter. He knew what he was doing and was done within an hour.

When the AC blew, they were ready to come out right away. When the problem was identified ( I already knew a replacement was needed), they helped me find the right items for the size of my house, and maximized the discount and tax credit. The QC folks came out 1 week later, and the new system was installed in 1/2 a day a week after that. They noticed that the water heater exhaust was not up to code, so they fixed that, too. When the WSSC guy came to inspect, his observation was the same as mine at the end of the job. Wow, this is really good. Clean, compact, and fantastic metal work. And most importantly, everything works!

The workers at Gaithersburg had reasonable pricing. They knew what they were doing and they did a good job. They did the best they could. They were honest and followed up.

I have a service agreement for them to come out twice a year for $179. They came on time. They give good write ups, so that you can understand what they did. Their prices are very fair.

Called to schedule service - technician was able to come the next day, arrived on time, performed the work quickly and professionally, and even fixed a few minor issues with stuck baffles while he was at it. Signed up for the annual maintenance agreement to save $$ over two separate service calls a year and go to the head of the priority list for repairs.

Jason Moxley listened carefully to what my needs were and then submitted a proposal with three options, explaining in detail the pros of each option and the price. After selecting this company from six different bids, the day arrived for the actual work to be done. Everything was done extremely professional, the crew lead by Tony Petrolle came when promised and started to perform the work. They removed all the old installation and cleaned up marvelously. It was a real pleasure to have the work done by them in 4 hrs. I would certainly recommend them to all my friends.

My husband explained to the repairman when he arrived that our heat pump motor was running continuously, and that we were able to stop it by pulling a relay switch. The repairman repaired the relay/switch and checked the compression of the heat pump. All this took about an hour and resolved the problem. We were surprised at how expensive it was for fixing what seemed to be a simple problem. And although we may be comparing apples to oranges, we coincidentally had a repairman fixing our stackable dryer at the same time and he was there about the same amount of time and his charge was $125.

The estimator was helpful in answering all my questions and addressed my concerns. I especially like the fact that he was available on e-mail, which really helped resolve some of my concerns. The installers were prompt, skilled and did a great job. In particular they made a piece of sheet metal support for the cooling coils, so that I could avoid a condensation pump, which can only result in more trouble, noise, etc. The installation was neat and professional. A team of four techs arrived on time and were done in less than five hours. The price was right in line with two other estimates I got. I do recommend that you research exactly what you want in terms of the equipment and features such as high-efficiency and variable speed motor, two-stage AC, air filters humidifiers, etc. One small issue was the hole they had to make for the outdoor equipment was filled with mortar but it shrunk or fell away. One call to the estimator and the owner came out himself with a tech to make the repair. That tells me they care about doing a quality job. The Bryant equipment with two stage AC and heat, variable speed motor is first-rate and works very well. It's also very quiet. If you want a professional company and want the job done right, you can't go wrong with Gaithersburg Air.

I have used them for more than 30 years. Their prices are reasonable. At my old house, they installed an air conditioner & furnace but recently, they came out to service my air conditioner. They came out on a very hot day and serviced my air conditioner when they already had a full schedule. They are extremely neat and extremely honest. I would give them A+ overall. They are wonderful and I would highly recommend them. They are the best in my eyes!

The original appointment was to occur on the area's first heavy snowfall of the year (December 2007). They called me three hours before the scheduled appointment to indicated their drivers were having problems with traffic and road conditions and thus asked if I would be kind enough to consider rescheduling. I understood and promptly rescheduled for the following week. I was given a two-hour window between 4 - 6 PM. I arrived home at 4:15 PM. I called to confirm that I did not miss the appointment. They assured me it was fine and indicated the driver would be to my house within 30 minutes. He actually arrived in 15 minutes. He was very friendly. He even took the time to let my playful dog get to know him before proceeding through the house. As we walked toward the furnace I relayed some issues I had with banging pipes only when the humidifier would turn off. He knew exactly what the problem was, showed me why it was happening and fixed it. The rest was just as great!

It went extremely well. They answered the phone in person (no voice mail; yea!). They sent someone either that very same day or the next day. This can be a godsend when it is 100 degrees and there is no functioning air conditioner. Their prices were reasonable. Everything was explained to me clearly. Based on this, I have signed a long-term maintenance contract with them.

The experience was the best I have had since I bought my home 10 years ago and I have dealt with many contractors in the Montgomery County, MD area. The installer/salesman took the time to explain all my options, did not try to sell me anything I did not need, showed up at my house at the time he said he would and called before arriving to let me know he was on his way, and worked with me on the price and warranty concerns. The installers showed up on time, if not earlier, than they said they would, finished within the time frame they said they would, were neat and clean, very organized, and all knew exactly what they were doing, and the installation leader fully explained the system to me. They were a very professional team. The receptionist knew exactly what was going on in the business, directed me to the right people, and made accurate appointments.

The blower motor on our old furnace was giving out. I called Gaithersburg Air to take a look. The representative confirmed that the motor was gone and told me that it could be replaced but also offered politely that it was perhaps time to replace the furnace. Based on his estimates, I decided to replace the furnace. The repair man did try to put in a temporary motor to get us through until the installation could occur, but didn't have one to fit. The installation team came the next week as scheduled and quickly and efficiently performed the installation and cleaned up. Gaithersburg Air had previously replaced our air conditioning. We continue to be pleased with their service.

I think Gaithersburg can be very helpful, honest, and reliable. I really do think that the price depends on the size of the units and what they are doing. I get a twenty percent discount on all repairs throughout the year since I have a yearly contract with them.

A few years ago, we had them install an entire new system and we very pleased with how professional they were. We decided then, that we would continue our service with them. I would also recommend them to other people looking for a reliable heating and cooling service.

I am very impressed how fast they came out to service my A/C unit. They are always very professional when they come out to my home. Having a service plan like theirs saves me a lot of money on regular checkups.

After 10 minutes in our crawl space, the technician examined our unit and discovered that the previous company's installers had wired the blower motor backwards, thereby causing the blower wheel to spin in an opposite direction which did not send air through to the coil, which in turn caused it too freeze over. The end result, we now had working a/c.

The company did an excellent job. Their employees are top notched with respect to their knowledge and customer service skills. They completed the entire job in less than 4 hours and were receptive to the many questions I asked during the process. With their professionalism they all exhibited, it's no doubt they are one of the top Bryant dealers in the country. If you're considering replacing your furnace or a/c unit, you'd be a fool not to seriously consider their services.

We recently replaced an entire heating system with heat pump in our small townhouse. From the beginning we were very impressed by their performance. The man who initially came out to assess our needs was a veteran with 32 years of actual field experience who explained what we would need, but more than that--what we didn't need. We explained that we wanted the old heat pump removed from our front yard and the new set at the side of the house. When the crew came out (exactly on time) they immediately set to work purposefully with no wasted time or effort. This was a very well-trained and well-coordinated team of experts who each knew exactly what they needed to do to get the job done. All told they came in, removed the old equipment, installed the new, fed new lines to the new site, cleaned up and were gone in less than four hours. This was a very impressive operation. Addendum: One thing that really sold us was their superior website. It's chock full of useful information.

Great. Over the past 3 years, I've had them check and maintain old furnace and old air condition unit. they are on time, pleasant, efficient, and seem knowledgeable and trustworthy.
