Chose them after they lowered their bid to be competitive. Two scope increases cost thousands more destroyed the yard and fence, and fought with me tooth and nail to charge even more to fix the damage they caused. The claimed job was finished before the retaining wall was completed, then demanded additional money to actually finish the job. Workers did not actually come on two of the days for which the job was scheduled (weather was fine those days), then rushed at the end of the job. EXPECT SCOPE INCREASES ( and expects comments from them such as this was an unusual situation).

I am pleased with the quality of the work done on my retaining wall. My only gripe is that this company does not accept credit cards for the downpayment. As a result, you have to wait longer for the job to be scheduled since they have to receive your check, deposit it, and make sure it doesn't bounce. Since a section of my retaining wall had crumbled, I was eager to have the job done quickly to avoid having a bigger section come off. It all worked out in the end -- I was lucky. Something to think about if your job is time-sensitive.

Excellent work in removing a cinderblock wall and in removing and replacing cement grout on flagstone patio areas. Efficient and experienced team, with thorough removal of old, loose cement and neat, good quality replacement and repair masonry work. Very competitive pricing.

I contracted with Emerald to do a 4200 square foot driveway paver project. For those that don't know, this is quite a large job. The only real delay to the project was the fact that it took over 3 months to get the 42 pallets of material that were required. That had nothing to do with Emerald. Once the materials were on-site, the workers worked steadily to get the job done. There was a snow storm and several rainy periods, but that didn't cause too much delay. One key point for me was the attention to detail by the workers. All around the circular driveway, all the pavers were trimmed to provide a very aesthetically pleasing result. This included going up against an existing retaining wall, my house, and a carport concrete pad. I had several change orders that Emerald accommodated in a professional manner. Emerald was also flexible in matching up to an 1800 square foot paver project I had done myself with my own hands over 30 years ago. In summary, if you need a hardscape project professionally completed at a fair cost, hire Emerald!!

We had this company come do a leaf cleanup for us and they did a great job. They were punctual, efficient and had everything done in under an hour! Would definitely use their services again.

The WORST experience I have had with any company. Do not use Emerald Landscaping for any job you would like to have done properly. Besides installing my patio with an incorrect slope that is clearly obvious from pictures and verified by other contractors, they do not back up their work and have no interest in making it right. Communication is deplorable and I was never made aware of certain structural issues I needed to know, never made mention of breaking my fence during construction, and I filled 3 buckets of debris that they were supposed to dispose of according to the contract. Delays are long and many times no one showed up even after receiving promises someone would come. Had to have reseeding done a second time, since their first **attempt** was terrible (had to wait 5 weeks to get a reseeding done after the patio was installed). If you want a job done properly, being kept abreast of issues, being treated with respect, and trusting that mistakes will be addressed and rectified, I strongly recommend you DO NOT do business with Emerald!

The walkway repair is perfect!

Had a small sidewalk job. They did the job correctly and just as I specified. Very happy with the work.

I hired Emerald Landscaping to refurbish a 15 year old paver patio. They were prompt and did a great job. My paver patio looks almost new again.

They came in a timely manner and cleaned the area ripely as they worked on the project. They did a great job very happy with the group.

We hired Emerald Landscaping to rework my front yard. On one side they planted ground cover and mulched and on the other side they extended my patio. The work was completed quickly and looks great!!!! I highly recommend them, trust me, you will not be disappointed.

We experienced a drainage issue on the side of the house. Sam evaluated the situaton and provided a affordable solution. The project was completed and the draining issue was resolved. The project team was professional, arrived on time and kept us informed with respect to completion of the project Final project turned out great

Emerald Landscaping installed a beautiful Techo-Bloc patio behind my townhome along with the surrounding landscaping. They worked with me to get exactly what I had requested, adjusting as needed for the scope of the work. Being on a slight slope, the patio needed to be perfectly placed so there would be no water drainage issues. Emerald also helped me choose native plants for the landscaping, understanding which plants work best with the lighting and the space limitations. I have received so many compliments from my neighbors!

They are awesome and work very hard to make sure my paver look perfect. I am very happy with their business. Highly recommended

It takes a lot of communication to get to clarity but once you are on the same page the results are good.

Hopefully they have improved and have their act together this year. The team we had in 2018 were totally unsupervised, managed their time poorly and made project unnecessarily long and drawn out. They also did not show when they were supposed to and left heavy equipment in middle of backyard for days.
