I hired Eco City to remove old furniture in preparation for new carpet and furniture arrival. Jeff responded promptly to my email request to confirm the date/time I had selected and discuss their pricing. On the day of our appointment, they were running early and called to see if they could come a little sooner, which worked fine for me. Upon arrival, Jeff inquired if his team should wear booties (heck no, new rugs on the way!) and re-quoted the price including a nice discount for finding them on Angie's List. All furniture was removed promptly and Jeff and his team were professional and polite. Jeff and Eco City also donate a portion of your fee to one of 5 charities of your choice; in my case the MD Humane Society. They also work with Habitat for Humanity and their ReStore shops. I would gladly use again and recommend to anyone looking to divest of their junk and feel good doing it.

They had to dismantle a large piece of furniture to get it down the stairs. They did it all without grumbling or complaining. They were very professional and pleasant to work with overall.

Calling a hauler can be a nail biting experience. Will you get just some angry guy in a truck? The folks at Eco will alleviate any such worries. They were polite, professional, and efficient. And the price was right. So long as they're in business, I have my hauler!

e What I really appreciated and what made the operation run so smoothly was the advance discussions I had with the Eco City staff. The discussions were very helpful in identifying the extent of the services and the type of items that could be removed. I found the scheduling to have been easily determined and flexible. On the day of the services, the work team showed up right on time and worked very efficiently. they also took initiative to assure that I made maximum use of the service and space contracted for. Every change I had--by phone, email and in person--was very cordial, customer-oriented, and efficient. A total pleasure. As I continue to renovate and restructure my residence, I will be keeping Eco City as a primary contact to remove additional items and materials for sure. Highly recommended.

Jeff the owner was prompt, courteous, explained everything, provided a price and did everything they said they would do. His assistant James was courteous, and knew his business as well. In addition to taking the junk, I like that they try to recycle where possible and they give a portion of the proceeds to charity. This is a terrific operation and I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again.

I can't praise this company high enough. I had them clear out two large piles of assorted trash, one in the basement, and one in the downstairs family room. They called to let me know that they were running 3 minutes late, something I probably wouldn't even have noticed. They explained what they were going to do, and kept me updated as they did it. They were quick, and managed to fill an entire dump truck in a short amount of time. I will definitely be using them again.

They are an exceptional company that did an amazing job. They came and gave me a quote and even though it was more junk than expected, they honored their estimate. Courteous, professional, and efficient. I will be rehiring them in the future when I re-accumulate my junk.

They were magnificent. They made it painless. I'm really impressed. Two men showed up and removed debris that included lumber, torn screens, fallen roof tiles, and fallen gutter covers. It was not contracted for, but they also removed three huge piles of dead leaves that I was unable to take care of myself. They were courteous, efficient, professional, and kind. They left my back yard clean and uncluttered, which was a great relief. They also provide a special service that, as far as i know, no one else does. When the job is finished, they ask you to select from a list of "green" charities, and they contribute part of your payment to the charity you choose. I had a lot of home maintenance done this year, but I got the most satisfaction out of the work done by Eco City Junk.

Owner and assistant did the job -- arriving a few minutes late, but with prior notice, and efficiently moved 5 pieces of furniture from one level of the house to another. Asked where we'd like it placed, and did their best to accommodate. Also, efficiently removed 4 hefty items plus heavy mirror and transported to donation/disposal area. Reasonable price (discount for Angie's members) relative to similar companies, and seemed reliable and trustworthy.

ECO arrived with two workers on a timely basis. Inspected area to be cleared. Hauled off items identified as junk or desired to be removed. Identified one or more items which were not junk and brought to my attention. Clean area after removing all junk.

After several communications, we agreed on a mutually workable date. Two gentlemen showed up on time, calling before they knocked on the door to let me know they were on their way. I had a junk pile prepared outside and they eagerly moved it from the side of the house to the truck. While they worked outside, I moved items from inside to the front porch where they grabbed them and loaded them onto the truck. Once the purchased amount of truck space was utilized, we agreed that no more items could be made that trip. Both gentlemen were extremely pleasant and enthusiastic. I would definitely recommend and use them again.
