Excellent movers. Great company. Would hire them again. No reservations!!!

I recently used Eastland Movers for an out of state move. They seemingly (emphasis on seemingly) packed everything well and delivered within the promised timeframe. However, movers were unfriendly and didn't pay attention to detail when packing. When moving from my initial apartment the movers left multiple items in the inventory and I had to track them down to have them put them in the truck. Also, the movers increased the price drastically from the quote without accounting for the actual increase in square footage of items being around the same although a couple of inventory items differed. They also tacked on multiple long haul fees without even accurately measuring the distance between the door and the truck. I would've chosen another company that was much more upfront with their fees had I known better. Lastly, art was damaged in the move. Also they didn't put together all of my televisions without me asking them on the way out. Low quality service for a very high price. Would've preferred movers that didn't try to scam customers on price and moved and packed items with care. I guess most of most of my stuff made it ok but definitely search around and don't choose them from Angie's list! There are much better movers in the DMV --I was in a time crunch!

I wouldn't hire them again because the remove the context of my desk without informing me, they did not follow up and they destroyed my book stand, well not completely it just don't look the same as it did before. I would not use them again.

On the day of the move the crew of 5 movers showed up on time and completely packed our 5 bedroom house. On the second day they came with 2 trucks and loaded everything as well as started driving to our delivery address in PA. Overall my experience with Eastland Movers was great. I would recommend to my friends and family if they need moving services. Their price was reasonable for the quality they provide!

Very professional and helpful during the moving process.

The moving crew worked extremely hard the entire day. They packed all my pictures, china and sentimental items with care. I had a good experience with the staff Luka and Maria as well. Great communication with all.

Got the move done on time. Some of my stuff was beaten up a little. My stuff was stored by this company for a month and had a mouse move into my stuff. They were reasonably priced.

They did a really nice job, they all worked extremely hard. Great value for the money.

My experience working with Luka, Maria, and the actual moving crew (Juan , Eric , Victor) was simply EXCELLENT. Luka has been so great to work with and we had effective and efficient communication throughout the entire process. He answered all my questions. On the day of the move, the moving crew (Juan , Eric , Victor) packed my entire basement and hauled everything into storage as I requested. We event had a lot of laughs throughout the whole process, so it was a great day. I highly recommend this company and crew and I will definitely call upon them again to haul everything out of storage and back to my newly renovated basement. What else can I say about this company other than, look no further and hire them for your moving needs.

I would not recommend Eastland Movers. They changed my appt time on the day of the move. They damaged my furniture. They did not use their company truck; they had a Penske rental truck. I head to pay with money orders. They did not tell me this until I decided to hire them. Because of time, they did not put my items in storage in a orderly fashion.

We moved from Maryland to Florida and it was a smooth transition. Everyone from the office to the movers that came to pack our things. They were gentle wrapping our furniture and handles everything with care. Delivery was the same. Very professional!

Movers were friendly and quick. The truck they drove though had a broken back toor which was a little worrying. Everything turned out okay though!

Extremely professional and effective

I hired Eastland Movers to move my family within 15 miles point-to-point. 1. On Customer service, they did so good that I would have give them 5-stars where it not the fact that they failed to make it clear that boxes are required in other to move any furniture with glass. Had they made it obvious I would have provided as much boxes as they need (for little or free) instead of being forced to buy it from them at much higher cost at the last minute. 2. On rate - their rate was reasonable and terms easy to understand. Also estimate on man-hours needed for the job was spot on. Thanks to detailed inventory walk-through by the Customer Service rep. 3. On the actual movers, the men were nice, friendly, respectful, and careful with each item. Overall my experience with this mover was a positive one. However, I strongly suggest you do some prep work yourself before calling any moving company. They charge by hour. Do the more stuff you left for them, the more hours it will take them to pack and move, which translate to more money they will charge you. If you can, dismantle and pack as many stuff as you can before their arrival. That will save you some pennies.

Beware Eastland started out wonderful. That is where the good review ends. The movers arrived late, mispacked or poorly packed boxes and items from the home. Put things together incorrectly, and over charged for the experience. My 1400 estimate ballooned to 3k in a matter of hours. Management is no help Luca and Maria told me i either did not look for it, or i told the movers to leave it. Beware. They seem affordable and customer service and communication is great until it is not. Beware
