We had your basic galley kitchen, with the sink facing a wall (no window). We added a peninsula and moved the sink into the corner of it, and also moved the location of the refrigerator from one side and end of the kitchen to the other. Additionally, we added an extra set of cabinets, with counter top, along an empty wall. Ibrahim gave many helpful hints when we talked with him about the design, and made commonsense recommendations to help keep the project within our budget. Their showroom has a great selection of cabinets and granite in many price ranges. We wanted to do some of the kitchen demolition ourselves to save money, and he was happy to work with us on that - we took out the appliances and cabinets ourselves, but left the soffit and backsplash removal to DMV, and we would do the painting and ceiling lights ourselves afterwards. We also received estimates from 3 other contractors, but DMV beat them out. Cabinet and granite installers, plumber, electrician, and general workers were all very professional, polite, hard-working, and eager to please. There were only a few miscommunications, but those were worked out quickly and pleasantly. Javier, who was in charge of the project, stopped by often to check on progress, and was always available by phone or text for questions, scheduling, etc. He and his crews worked efficiently, and it was obvious they were very experienced. The installation took 2 weeks. The cost covered everything - soffit and backsplash demolition, new cabinets, granite counter top, sink and faucet, pulls/handles, plumbing, electrical, installing appliances (dishwasher, range, and microwave), fixing and prepping walls for paint. We picked out the appliances we wanted, and Ibrahim checked prices and ordered them, passing along the savings to us - appliances were an additional $1650_x000D_| We love how the kitchen turned out - not only does it look GREAT, but it functions well too! Both Ibrahim and Javier have checked back with us to make sure we are satisfied, and to assure us that they will be available if needed - customer service and satisfaction is certainly one of their strong points. We highly recommend DMV Kitchen and Baths, and would not hesitate to use them again.

A GREAT REMODELING EXPERIENCE!!! ? The DMV Kitchen and Bath staff made our remodel project such a pleasant experience. Our extensive project included the remodel our old office to a waiting room and build new office at our business. We appreciated the fact that the dust and debris were kept to a minimum during demolition and there were never construction items left inside our office. Because all construction was done on evenings and weekends, and we were open thru all construction. Our project manager was always available to respond to any questions or issues that arose. The workers were courteous and did great work. As with any remodel, there were a few challenges, but DMV Kitchen and Bath met those challenges with a positive attitude and always found a solution. There were many times that they went far beyond the call of duty to make sure our vision became a reality and always did their best to stay within our budget. Our office and waiting room is now very beautiful and functional than we could ever have imagined. All our customers love it the new waiting room. And we love our new beautiful office. We highly recommend DMV Kitchen and Bath to anyone considering a remodel project, and we will certainly call them when we decide to do any remodeling at our own homes.

we contacted DMV kitchen and bath as we were interested in receiving an estimate for granite countertops. upon first contact, an appointment was scheduled for an estimate in which no one showed up for. after being late and contacting them, someone showed up for the appointment. we were informed that an estimate would be provided the next day (which it was not) and the estimate was provided two days later. even though the estimate was a day late, we decided to view the show room to see what granite options were available. when we contacted the provider for show room hours...we were instructed that on saturday the show room was open until 6pm. we arrived at the showroom around 12:45pm and no one was at the shop (roughly 30 minutes after talking with the provider). at this time we have decided to find another provider.

The crew was timely, worked started on time and took only a few days longer than estimated. The designs presented were exactly what we were looking for. DMV worked with our budget which was also very much appreciated. The tile work is beautiful and of the highest quality. The only hiccup was in the final cost based on some mid-work changes. However, I could not have asked more of management. They were completely professional, responsible and responsive. I am very pleased with the overall process, cost and results.
Description of Work: Master bathroom remodel including tear down and removal of vinyl floors, existing shower and soaking tub tile and shower floor. Expanded shower in height, width and length. Re-tiled shower, tub and floor. Re-installed existing vanity, countertop and toilet. Painted. Installed frameless glass.

We contacted Ibrahim Zirekoglu for an estimate for remodeling our two, small full baths. He quickly responded answering any of our questions. We scheduled a time for Ibrahim to stop by, he showed up right on time, and provided an estimate by the end of the day. In the end, we did not select DMV…but we still remain impressed by their responsiveness.

Before looking for contractors, we put together a big list of changes we wanted to do to our house with a general budget in mind. We meet with and got pricing from two other local contractors in addition to DMV, who came and surveyed prior to pricing. DMV was the only bidder who broke out the pricing for every item on the list as requested, and without adding allowances for everything. This was the first sign but the best part was that they came below the other two bidders to the point where we were able to do EVERYTHING on the list, AND MORE. Needless to say the choice was clear, so we decided to give the job to DMV. We spent many days and nights with Oscar (designer/PM) going through every detail of the project, making material selections and finalizing the contract. We were very picky and he was very patient. Around this time we meet with Javier (superintendent/PM). The two of them gave us their best at a schedule and we were off and running. Demolition was pretty smooth, although you can never have enough protection for high traffic areas like wood floors and finished garage floors. Time was spent to safeguard but given the scope of work, the whole house was a construction site. Needless to say, we were not living in the house during the construction. For the most part work was fast but slow at times, mainly because we asked Javier to procure permits which required numerous inspections. Work was held up more than a few times because of permits. All of the workers were diligent, polite and respectful. They wiped their feet and always stayed on task. They even pulled weekends a few times just to get things done. Communication with Oscar and Javier has never really been a problem. You would always get a call back or a text. One of us was in contact with one of them almost every day. One of the best ways to avoid an issue is to stay in constant contact. But when an issue came up or the wrong material was ordered (happened once or twice like any project), they sprang into action to make it right which was very comforting. That feeling would probably be our biggest take away from working with DMV. They really worked hard to make sure that we we?re happy. If something was bothering you at any point in the project, they would do whatever they had to do to put the smile back on your face. We are very glad that we went with DMV and thankful for all they have done for us.
Description of Work: Full kitchen remodel, full master bathroom remodel, basement remodel, powder room construction, new plumbing, porcelain tile installation, hardwood refinishing, full interior repainting, custom carpentry, carpet installation, entry door installation, new baseboard throughout, recessed lighting throughout and new kitchen duct work. Orlando and his helper did a wonderful job. They both worked really hard and the results - A+ work - show it. I really appreciated their hanging plastic barriers between the kitchen and living room and even covering the furniture in the living room so the dust from the work didn't get on everything. But the biggest surprise was that they put a new hose on the refrigerator without my even asking. When does that happen anymore? I really don't want to talk them up much more, because I'm afraid that they'll be too busy when I need them again! This was the best experience I've had with a vendor on Angie's List.
Description of Work: The hose that brings water to the refrigerator developed pinholes and leaked on our kitchen floor (Pergo). DMV replaced the floor with ceramic tile.

Went really well. Made the call as soon as the insurance company gave me the green light to proceed with repairs. Same day produced blue prints of the kitchen so that we knew the exact measurements for the supplies that we would need. A day or two later we showed up to the show room to see what our options were. The salesman, Oscar Pedomo, played a intricate part in getting things together and making sure what we wanted was available. The only issue we encountered during the whole process was trying to get the wife and I to agree on what we wanted. I won. The back splash ended up being stainless steel cubes with black grout, which looks awesome do to the appliances being of the same material and color. We got a bigger sink, which is awesome. Looks great with the hands-free faucet which is also stainless and black. The bright huge tiles on the floor light up the kitchen and contrast the dark bamboo cabinets. My kitchen belongs in a catalog as an example of what a modern kitchen should look like. As I save for the remodeling of my bathrooms, these guys will be the first ones I call.
Description of Work: They repaired water damaged walls, removal and replacement of dry rotted cabinetry and repairs in the dry wall. They also repaired and replaced the old flooring in the kitchen with tile. Applied a new modern backsplash that wrapped all around half the kitchen. New electrical sockets were added and a hands-free kitchen faucet.

We decided to go with DMV based upon all of the very positive reviews here and the fact that their estimate was substantially lower than any of the other bidders. They also seemed willing to accommodate almost any request or preference that we had. Javier was the Project Manager and was great to work with. He was clear from the start that we needed to be satisfied, and he let us know that we could contact him at any time if we had questions or needed his help. When we did, he was always very gracious and helpful. He visited the project site most days, toward the beginning of the project, and less so as the project progressed. All of the workers were very courteous, and hard-working, and usually cleaned up as much as possible. There were a few instances where attention to detail slipped a little, but when such problems were pointed out, they were corrected. The project took about 6 weeks to complete, however, that included occasional delays, some of which were unavoidable. For example, one large piece of the granite countertop needed to be replaced, due to slight cracks in the stone. These were noticed after the granite had been installed. There were a few times when we didn?t know if anyone was coming to the house or not. There was one such stretch where no one came for a few straight days. This was one of a few lapses in communication that I think could have been a little better. A schedule, or project plan, updated from time to time, would have been helpful. There are always at least a few unexpected issues on every project. The cost referenced above does not include the cost of the appliances and some of the items that we (the homeowners) decided to upgrade or purchase ourselves (e.g. upgrades or special order details on the cabinets). All in all, we love our beautiful new kitchen and we?re very satisfied with the work DMV did on our project. The price was very competitive, they did good work, and they were very pleasant to work with. We will be calling them again when the time comes for other projects on our list.
Description of Work: Complete kitchen remodel, down to the studs. This included all demo, new cabinets, granite countertops, travertine backsplash, tile flooring, lighting, removal of soffits, replacement of pantry with cabinets, painting, and replacement of two sliding patio doors.

Ibrahim worked with us to come up with a design to renovate our apartment kitchen. He was incredibly helpful and professional throughout the entire process - from the initial estimate meeting to meeting with him at the DMV showroom to pick out materials. This is our first renovation project, so we really did not know what to expect, but Ibrahim was incredibly helpful at every step, and accommodating of my endless questions and tweaks to the design. In the end, we decided to go with another contractor, but the prices were very close. I would definitely come back to DMV for a future remodeling project.

The whole process was very smooth. Oscar came and took measurements and provide an online design and estimate. I had gotten other estimates and DMV quote was very reasonable and within our budget. We worked with Oscar to select the materials. We selected the tiles and backsplash from their shop and went to a different warehouse for the granite countertops. The work started and ended as planned. Different crews were in and out each day depending on the type of job that had to be done. Javier the project manager was very accommodating and if they found something that needed to be fixed, they would do it right away. We are very pleased with our kitchen and have asked DMV to provide a quote for our next project - the master bathroom.

Because of low water pressure in upstairs bath ,they were able to replace old cast iron pipes in a 1939 house with PVC and copper pipes which resulted in wonderful water flow in the bathrooms. Workmen were courteous and prompt and cleaned up everyday. I am very happy to enjoy my new kitchen. Javier and Ibrahim were wonderful in seeing the project trough.

It is very important to mention that this was our first renovation completed in our home and that I was very nervous starting one. A month prior to the renovation, I asked friends and family to tell me about their experiences with home renovation, especially their kitchen and most of them said that it was a nightmare. Because of that and because I was seven months pregnant, I was reluctant in starting any project. Since I hated my kitchen so much and I was debating whether to sell, we decided to go ahead and do a renovation. We had a total of four contractors who came and gave us a free estimate. Some contractors? bids were very low which seemed too good to be true and some were ridiculously high, but DMV was right in the middle which made us feel a lot more comfortable. DMV also gave us a very realistic timetable and showed us many examples that inspired our confidence in them. DMV did an excellent job of explaining everything and going through the estimation process. They used a design program to show us a 3-dimensional proposal which was tailored to our thoughts and design ideas. On April 1, 2013, just about a month away from my due date, they started the project. Javier, who was our project manager, is one of the nicest, honest, and most understanding people that I have encountered. Javier is all about making his customers happy and comfortable with project decisions. All issues we had, truly concerned Javier and he went above and beyond our expectations to handle everything to our satisfaction. Javier has an excellent eye for details and had his workers fix things that we didn?t even notice until they were pointed out. Javier assigned a two-man team to our project and they came every day at 8:30 AM unless we were told otherwise. We became very comfortable knowing that the same team came daily and had no issues leaving them in the house alone. The main workers who handled our project were always punctual, clean, friendly, and polite. There were some instances where there were differences in the scope of work that we discussed with Javier that the workers were not aware of. We just called Javier and he handled any misunderstanding and the work proceeded to our satisfaction. The jobs, electrical and hard wood flooring, that were subbed out were mostly handled well. There were some issues of work needing to be redone, but Javier handled the arrangements and was always responsive to ours calls. The work was promised and completed on a very strict timeline. Javier and his team were able to have the project completed before my delivery as promised! We never felt that any corners were cut or the work was anything less than excellent. We are extremely satisfied with the final results and quality of work done by DMV Kitchen and Bath. We give DMV Kitchen and Bath our highest recommendation. We plan on using them for our next major project and we have already recommended them to our neighbors. In summary, to all people contemplating a renovation, do not be afraid of the horror stories you commonly hear. Yes, the renovation process is not an easy one; however, finding a contractor who actually listens to what the homeowner wants and puts you at ease despite the stress of the renovation is possible.
Description of Work: DMV Kitchen & Bath opened a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and family room and installed a beam. The kitchen was completely remodeled, including new cabinets, countertops and appliance installation. The exterior door in the kitchen was moved several feet in order to make a larger space for a table in the kitchen, this included masonry work. A half-bath was completely redone. Two bedrooms were painted and had crown-molding installed. Wood flooring was refinished and new wood flooring installed in the foyer to match the existing floors.

From start to finish the experience was fantastic. I worked with Javier from DMV. Great eye for details and making the finished product look perfect from start to finish. Always available via phone, text or email. A gentleman by the name of Minor stayed on the project from the very beginning. Every day Monday through Saturday Minor showed up at exactly 9:00AM and started to work. ALWAYS on time.... The crew was very careful and alert to the dust and dirtiness of construction and did their very best to mitigate it. The project included demo of approximately 250 sq/ft of old bathroom and a joining bedroom. New walls constructed, corner Jacuzzi tub, glass shower, sink, granite, tile , extra closet spaces ect... Additionally, I have two small boys that like to get into things. The crew was always alert and carefully to help ensure my two little guys didn't get into something or hurt. Bottom line I wouldn't change a thing and was completely satisfied with the execution of this project. This is a class act organization and the end product is Great!

DMV Kitchen and Bath did a fantastic job on our bath remodel. I had gutted it, and they came in and immediately saw what we wanted to do with the space. They were the only contractor (out of eight) that was responsive during the bidding process. That continued once we had signed a contract with them, including during evenings and weekends. Oscar was fantastic to work with, and the crews were always courteous and exceptionally clean. There was one hiccup, when the shower enclosure company they used sent the wrong glass, but they knocked some money off of the final price to make up for the delay. The quality of work is fantastic. They moved a toilet flange that was imbedded in the concrete foundation, built a solid half-wall for the shower, laid beautiful tile, and were great with the finish carpentry. It's been a couple of months since they completed their work, and we couldn't be happier.

Our 37 year old, small bathroom needed a makeover. The tub was in great shape, and we had recently purchased a new commode, but everything else - flooring, tile, fixtures, lighting, vanity, counter top and cabinets - required replacement. Javier came to our rescue, and helped us to choose the appropriate items to complement our house and our taste. Thanks to Darwin, Edgar, Carlos and Felix, this job was completed in a timely manner. Little touch-ups were performed on the spot. Even though the bathroom is small, we still took way too long in selecting a paint color, and Javier even said that if we didn't like our choice, he would return and re-paint. We appreciated Javier's kind and calm demeanor - never pushy, always available - and the high level of skills that the other men brought to this job.

We first called DMV for an estimate for remodeling our kitchen in our DC condo that we had just purchased in late June. The condo is more than 100 years old, with a lot of character but had been completely neglected by its previous owner for many years. The condo was a true fixer upper. The kitchen had to be gutted out and be started new. A huge plaster wall had to be removed. Gas lines had to be rerouted, Water line for refrigrator had to move and plumbing for the sink had to be rearranged. All new cabinets be installed. And new electrical wiring with new outlets. be installed. We met Ibrahim, the salesman for the initial meeting at the condo. Our meeting went great. He was right on time, extremely pleasant and very helpful. He answered all our questions and gave us new ideas. We really liked Ibrahim from the very start. He was so personable and we felt really comfortable with him. Ibrahim followed up the meeting by sending us his 1st draft of the design in an email. After several email exchanges with him we decided to finalize our contract with DMV. But I had 2 requests, 1- was for DMV to start work immediately and 2- was for Javier to be assigned as our project manager. I had read all the reviews on DMV where people had made so many positive comments about Javier as PM . This was going to be a big job so we wanted the best! The work started immediately and we met Javier on the first day at the job site. He immediately gave us his personal phone number and asked us to contact him at any hour of the day or night if we had any questions or concerns. I can't begin to tell you how helpful this proved to be later as we exchanged text with Javier day and night with our questions or changes as necessary. Javier could not have been more responsive through out the whole project. After the first week on the job, and once the plaster wall was removed, we ran into 2 gas pipes that went from floor to ceiling and provided gas to the condos above ours. To have the open floor plan we wanted, these gas lines had to be removed/rerouted. Javier met with us to discuss our options and told us that we needed to not only obtain our neighbors permission to cut through their floor and walls but also we required a building permit for that. After our neighbors met with Javier, he convinced them that he would do the work with minimal interruptions for them. They really liked Javier and trusted him so they gave us their permission. At the same time Javier submitted a plan to the city to get the work permit. Although this caused some delay in our project but while we were waiting for the permit, Javier kept the crew going. New plumbing , water line, electrical wiring were installed. The ceining in these old places is made out of cement so all the wirings were outside the walls. We decided on a trey ceiling.. They built a beautiful dropped down ceiling where all our lights were to be installed. We finally got the permit and Javier had the pipes removed. The neighbors were extremely pleased with Javier and the work he had done. They put new the tile floor down and started installing the new cabinets At this point, I really wanted Javier to help do the remodeling work in the rest of the condo outside the kitchen. The biggest job left was dealing with all the electrical wires that were outside the walls everywhere. Javier told me the only option is breaking up the plaster walls and placing the wires inside the walls. This was a huge task. Plaster walls are so difficult to work with. He took on the job and worked on getting the wires off of all the existing baseboards, opened the walls, and placed them inside. He replaced all the baseboards and fixed all the walls. In addition, Javier and his crew also closed up a wall in the bathroom and installed a new double vanity. They also built a small closet in the bedroom. This project could have been a nightmare if it wasn't for Javier. He is the contractor you have always been looking for. He provides your project with his personal attention, and is so focused on providing the best customer service. Javier is extremely responsive to your concerns. He is willing to change things until you are happy with the outcome. He is professiona, very reliable and very likeable. He only has one objective in mind and that is your complete satisfaction. I could not have been more pleased of the entire outcome. Our condo has now been completely renovated due to the great work of Javier and his crew. I highly recommend them for any remodeling job (big or small).

My venture began in September 2012 for estimates to remodel our kitchen. I called DMV for a free estimate. Oscar responded quickly and on time. I had just had a recent accident and he was kind enough to bring floor samples to the house that day. The estimate and the kitchen plans were completed in one week and emailed to me. This was much faster than the other companies that had come by. My husband and I were ready to begin the project over the summer beginning in August 2013. Oscar remembered us and honored the previous contract with minor adjustments. The kitchen project was completed in 4 weeks and went very smooth. The quality and craftsmanship was superb. If I had any concerns, DMV responded immediately without delay. I now have a beautiful kitchen with new cabinets, granite countertops, backsplash, appliances and tile floor. Amazing tile work ! The employees were neat and took extra care with the rest of the house while working in the kitchen. One other note, we have a very old house and while the construction in the kitchen was underway, the upstairs bathroom starting leaking down into the new kitchen. DMV responded without delay. My husband and I were very pleased and have started a bathroom renovation with DMV for October 2013. Thanks so much DMV, K.S.

My sons were saying that my kitchen looks like it was stuck in the 80s, with butcher block countertops and old cabinets. I was debating whether to move to a newer house or to remodel the kitchen, powder room, and foyer. My friends remodeled their kitchen in a similarly aged home, and when I saw the work of DMV Kitchen & Bath, my mind was settled?that is exactly what I want to do. I was lucky since my friends just completed their work. I really liked the look of their kitchen, and so I chose to use many of the same products and features they had installed. I told DMV to just give me the exact cabinets, granite counters, floor tiles, and so on. First, Oscar came to my house to check and design the kitchen. He designed it exactly how I wanted, with my input truly reflected in the final look. Unfortunately, the floor tiles were out of stock, and Oscar told it would take a month to get it. So I selected different tiles when I signed the contract. But when it was delivered, I did not like it at all. So I called Oscar, and Javier came on the phone and he was very courteous and said he will bring me some other samples, and one of which I selected. DMV was really very good at accommodating the customer?s needs. Also from a design perspective, they were very accommodating. After installation of the kitchen cabinets, the space above the cabinets had gap to the ceiling which we did not anticipate nor want. So they redesigned with additional pieces to the crown molding, and that really make the kitchen grander looking than I could have ever imagined. All the workers did a great job, and they were respectful of my home. They covered my dining room, living room, stairways, carpets, and furniture with plastic sheets to limit the amount of dust in the home for the duration of the project. Every day they cleaned thoroughly. DMV did a great job. I liked their workmanship from my friend?s house, and that is what made me to select DMV Kitchen & Bath. I am thinking of remodeling my Master Bathroom later this year, and I will certainly call DMV without any hesitation. I am so pleased with the quality of work that I have already given DMV's contact information to three of my friends who are planning on remodeling their homes.

We had DMV Kitchen to renovate our kitchen in its entirety: new cabinets, new tiled floor, installing all new appliances and new lighting fixtures all around, etc. and had been completely impressed and satisfied with the good quality of its work. With this good experience, we decided to renovate the front powder room and the upstairs bathroom by redesigning both projects, meaning expanding and reconfiguring various features. (1) Powder Room: This project involved a detailed consultation on reconfiguring all parts of the powder room and installation of new floor tiles, changing from vinyl flooring, a new cabinet with glass windows in doors, a new lighting fixture, a newly modern-designed TOTO toilet with new hardware with coordinated design such as a towel ring and holder, hanging toilet paper holder a new granite counter top and a new mirror. Throughout the execution of the project, it was extremely important that the customer, I, was available for all the time because unanticipated problems always popped up in both demolition and installation phases. One example: we discovered a subfloor board completely rotten and probably ready to collapse when a vinyl flooring was removed. Our project manager (the same gentleman in our previous kitchen task), Javier Nogales, corrected the problem by having a new subflooring installed. As previously mentioned, I was there to observe the problem area, consult on a solution, and verify the solution was carried out satisfactorily in person, not on the phone. In addition, we had an adjacent front closet renovated with an expansion, change from a folding door to French doors, a new lighting fixture, and tile floor extension. Javier recommended that the powder room sets a good tone for the entire house if it is more highly upgraded than the other project, i.e., the upstairs bathroom. (2) Upstairs Bathroom: This project involved expansion at the expense of my bedroom space, installation of new and more expensive and taller pantry type cabinets, the same new toilet and hardware combination done for the powder room, a ceramic tile floor, a large feet medicine cabinet and a deeper soaking bathtub. We encountered a serious problem of a squeaking subfloor board for which screwing the subfloor boarding to a beam did not remedy the squeaking because the beam which ran from an end to another end through a length of my townhouse. Javier supervised several different attempts which took two extra days. Again, I was available for consultation and approvals for solutions. The project team attempted anchoring using several 2x4 beams which did not work by itself. In addition, an opening was made through a closet in another bedroom adjacent to the other side of the bathtub to install additional 2x4 beams and injected foam to push down the main beam. With our fingers crossed next day, we stepped on the problem area to find out the squeaks eliminated. Again, I was on the spot observing all the efforts in person. I appreciate the tenacity with which the remedy was carried out. DMV Kitchen also deployed two crews to work on both projects concurrently, rather than consecutively, to cut the length of time needed. I would highly recommend DMV Kitchen to other prospective clients.

DMV did a very good job remodeling our kitchen. Everyone was professional, arrived in a timely manner, and worked efficiently to complete the job. Overall, we were pleased with the completed project. We learned about DMV through a local home magazine and read reviews on Angie's List to figure out which company we wanted to use. We compared DMV's quotes to four other companies (including kitchen cabinet refacing places) and found DMV's price to be the best. In fact, it would have cost more to reface compared to getting new cabinets. Ibrahim, the project coordinator, was able to come to our house within a few days after we requested a quote. He sent us a 3D model and detailed quote for the proposed project. We visited DMV's Maryland showroom to compare their choices to other companies. We decided to go with DMV in the end because of their responsiveness, fair price, and good reviews. (Cabinet Discounters never bothered to send us a quote despite us reaching out to them multiple times and also providing a rough sketch of our kitchen.) When we were deciding on the type of cabinet and countertop, Ibrahim sent us pictures of recently completed projects and also was able to arrange for us to visit a project in process to see a similar cabinet/countertop combination. We were able to talk to the homeowners about their impressions of DMV and they had good things to say as well. After we selected the cabinets, Ibrahim returned to our house to take final measurements, discuss details of drawers/doors, and other aspects of the remodel. We visited a granite warehouse near DMV's showroom in Falls Church to select the slab that we wanted. DMV also works with other stone suppliers (for both countertops and tiles) so you have a wide variety of choices. When the installation was near complete, the manager, Javier, came by to inspect the work, asked if we had any concerns, and told the installers to make adjustments. The onsite project manager/contractor also was very thorough and corrected any issues we were able to see. At the end of each day, the workers cleaned up and made every effort to prevent dust from spreading. In addition, after the contractors left we found a few small issues that needed to be fixed and Ibrahim made sure they were taken care of right away. We appreciated this responsiveness and heard stories from our neighbors that their contractors would never do this. We were pleased enough with the finish product that we requested estimates for some of our bathrooms. Our neighbors were also impressed with the work and are interested in working with DMV.

The team were punctual, hard working, polite and cleaned up after themselves every day. We did have a few minor issues with leaks and damage to the bathtub but once reported, they were very responsive to correct the problems. They were also very accommodating with the work start date and with a paint color change after the initial color was on the walls. Our sales man was always available as needed. Good overall experience.
