We were very pleased with the work done on both occasions. Diaz Painting was reasonable in cost, delivered everything that was in the contract and completed the work as scheduled.

The painters are friendly, conscientious and clean up perfectly at the end of each day. And their work is beautiful. We’re very happy and have hired Diaz for many additional home projects.

They are highly responsive, and professional. The specialty paint work was so precise and detailed I was blown away, I would have thought he was an artist. They are incredibly open to feedback, and they manage their time and projects with great expertise. They even took all of the pictures from our floods and helped with the insurance, plus they are just great to work with.

Diaz Painting did a fabulous job on our basement. I was blown away when I came home from work and saw my new amazing basement! They did carpentry, electrical and painting, and also carpeted the entire basement. They were incredibly professional and nice. We are getting ready to have our bathroom remodeled by them. Diaz did amazing work. Gave us a complete quote, was less than I would have thought and the working was 100%. He always on time, worked a full day, cleaned up after each day and re-did any work that I asked him to do. He fixed some prior work when asked, built sliding & barn doors, 1st time for him and did an awesome job. I can not say enough good things about Diaz and his work, I highly recommend him for any work you have for them.

Mr. Diaz is punctual. His team of workers is professional and always clean up nicely after each project. Once we are his customers, he helps out with small projects like install window well cover that required drilling into brick wall and change ceiling light fixture. We are very pleased to have Mr. Diaz with his works.

I can not say how happy we are on the work that Diaz Painting did for us. Diaz came to our house, look at the work we needed & wanted done, came back with an professional quote and started the job the next day. We had a tight time schedule and he worked with us to get the job done on our schedule, pretty much unheard in my past contractors. He arrived at our house always on time and we fully trusted him in our home, since most of the time no one was home. He build out of black walnut flooring, 2 doors for us, including a sliding barn type. He finish all the work that we contracted, plus extra work to fix improper work done prior, on time for our holiday party. Diaz, his children & wife came to our holiday party and his work was the hit of the party. I can not say enough good things about Diaz.

Quick and easy. Team had to move all furniture which was impressive.

The crew quickly removed the damaged ceilings + repaired the pipe and recaulked the shower and tub, replaced and painted the damaged drywall and left the work areas clean and sound.

Diaz Painting also completed a construction project for us. We had an old brick fireplace that we wanted to convert to a gas fireplace with a new (granite) front. We asked several companies that do this kind of work (several of whom came from Angie’s List) for estimates. Only one company ever gave us an estimate - hand written and not easily understood. Diaz Painting had completed a large paint job in our home and I mentioned that we were looking for a company to demolish and rebuild our fireplace front. Diaz said that they could do this, and he submitted an estimate. His estimate was clear, delineating all work. His crew came on time, demolished the original fireplace front, rebuilt the front, added the granite, and rebuilt the wood surround. I’ve attached a picture of his work before the gas insert. Diaz worked with the company that was installing the gas insert to get the correct dimensions and the gas insert company was very complimentary of the work and dimensions of the fireplace front. They repainted the walls and trim as needed. Again, all furniture was covered, and they cleaned up at the end of each day. Their work was excellent. I highly recommend them for painting and construction.

We originally hired Diaz Painting to paint several rooms in our home. This included a Livingroom and hallway with wall paint that we provided, two upstairs rooms and a bathroom. The bathroom needed plasterboard work. They also painted the banister from the first to the second floor and secured it so that it no longer wobbled. Their work was excellent. They were careful to detail the ceiling molding in the Livingroom and all floor molding. They arrived on time, covered all the furniture, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Diaz was easy to work with, they worked with our schedule, and took our delays in stride. Their work was exceptional. I highly recommend them.

It went well. The guys were very punctual and worked long hours without long taking long breaks. They worked six days a week. They were a little careless with some items that they moved but they were repaired. I would suggest if using them, totally clear out the room so they are not responsible for moving furniture. Their painting was perfect. They did a great job with installing the laminate flooring. I would have liked to see Diaz checking on the progress in person more frequently. He stopped by a few times during the job.

They were very punctual and polite. They were at my home 6 days at week on schedule. I totally trusted them in my home based on a referral. Diaz was very polite also even though he was not on the job very much. There were several items that were broken in my basement. With that being said, I did not have everything moved out before they began. I realize they are not a moving firm. Diaz did come and repair the items that were broken for the most part. A very expensive built in desk was deeply scratched, so now my warranty is invalid. The job itself was done very nice. I did have to call an electrician back to repair some of the outlets that I was told was wired incorrectly. I had to have an outlet moved that I was told that was not up to code. Also, the beams were not spaced properly. They were not either 12 or 18 inches apart. Some were 9 inches and others were 15 inches. Also, my steps were not replaced properly. I now have a small half step that was not there before the job. When I told him about the issue, he said they were put back exactly as they were. Everyone that came into the basement after the job was tripping which never happened within 30 years of me living in my home. The half step is not ideal but the steps were not installed properly. They did an excellent job with painting. The paint looks beautiful. I would hire them again to paint but not for major construction.
