+ 6 moreFor all of these jobs DP&R staff were professional and personable and kept to schedule. They respected our concerns about COVID, wore masks on the job and observed social distancing. DP&R’s pricing for all three jobs was highly competitive. We would gladly use them for future home projects and have recommended them to our friends.
Description of Work: Over the past couple of years my wife and I hired Diaz Painting & Renovation for three large jobs on two different houses. They painted the exterior of my mother’s home in Potomac, including replacement of a number of outdoor windowsills that had started to rot. About a year later, to get the house ready for sale, we hired DP&R to paint the whole interior of the house, including plaster repair and wallpaper removal. They also buffed the hardwood floors, laid new wall-to-wall carpet, and installed vinyl plank flooring in the laundry room. Everything looked refreshed when we put the house on the market. When we decided to give our own home a long overdue facelift, we again contracted with DP&R to paint almost every room inside the house, parts of the exterior, complete various carpentry projects, install recessed LED lights in our lower-level office (among other electrical work), replace old wood paneling in the powder room with drywall, and, in our laundry room, install a new sink and faucet, re-route plumbing, and lay new ceramic tile flooring. They gave our home just the sprucing up we wanted.

They cleaned up at the end of each day. Mr. Diaz was easy to reach by text and responded quickly to my questions and concerns. Everyone was professional and courteous. They did a great job. I highly recommend Diaz Painting and Renovation to any homeowner living in Montgomery County, MD.

+ 1 moreYosuary Diaz is very professional, friendly, responsive, pleasant to work with, and does great work. We were selling our 20 year old townhouse and it needed significant updating. Yosuary gave us a quote significantly less than two other companies and was highly recommended by our realtor. Yosuary and his crew worked on the house non-stop for two weeks, repainting the entire interior and parts of the exterior (with Sherwin Williams!), replacing fixtures, cleaning carpets, refinishing woodwork and power washing the entire exterior and deck. Basically Mr. Diaz does it all, and he has the knowledge and experience to know what improvements sell houses. Also, he is the kind of guy who tells you when a repair is necessary versus replacement, and when something isn't even worth doing at all. What's the proof? After a single open house, our house was under contract in four days and sold a few weeks later. The buyers loved the work that Mr. Diaz did!!! I strongly recommend Mr. Diaz and his team for your home improvement needs.
