Had a good experience with Cool Breeze. They came out right in the middle of the 2 hour time window, checked out my unit which I had never had checked before and explained what was going on and what else I needed done. Pretty good process from start to finish and would use again.

This process was smooth from start to finish. I found them on Angie’s List and called them. Danielle picked up promptly, took my information in a professional, friendly way, and scheduled a same-day appointment. Alex called 25 minutes prior to arriving, within the original timeframe promised. He promptly took stock of the situation and started addressing the problem. He provided some general idea of what the costs would be before proceeding. He then showed me what he was doing and why each step of the way, and explained what would happen. He performed the tasks to get the AC functioning properly again, received the payment by credit card, and was on his way. He was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire service call. The only problem for me was that it took longer for the house to cool down to normal than he though, but that was probably due to the extreme heat, and may be due to our home’s floor plan. It was well within comfort level before we went to bed, and then at the thermostat’s temperature setting by the time we got up the next morning. I will definitely use the company for future maintenance and repairs/service. Plus, I like that they use electronic billing. It’s great to reduce paper use!

Our AC system is quite old; thus, we were very interested in finding a company that would honestly assess and try to repair rather than simply saying - you need a new system. Cool Breeze was recommended as the most capable and honest company in the DMV. They did not disappoint! After a multi-part inspection, it was a very small problem in the thermostat. They fixed it quickly and charged the cost of coming out. Outstanding service.

It went ok. The plumber didn't explain much about what caused the leak or how to avoid in the future. But he fixed it

I called in a last minute service request with Cool Breeze, on a Sunday, and they were amazingly able to fit me in. The service technician, Rene, was extremely thorough and knowledgable and walked me through everything he was doing. Turns out my Nest Thermostat was incorrectly sending a signal to turn the heat on instead of the AC. Rene removed my thermostat, worked his wiring magic and turned my AC unit on (temporarily) until I can replace the Nest thermostat. Whats even more amazing is that their prices are fair and completely reasonable. I highly recommend Cool Breeze and Rene for any HVAC work to be done.

Rene came out and identified an issue with a component that was inline with the air conditioning unit and made the appropriate repairs quickly. Now we have our air conditioner working again. They also came out in the winter and installed a new furnace for a great price. Cool Breeze offered the lowest price and quickest service for both the furnace and air conditioning unit. I will be using this company again.

I found this contractor through Angie's list and originally wanted a tune up. The technician showed up late and did not flush the lines during the tune up. He then charged me $369 for other things he said the unit will need. So I paid it. The HVAC system turned out to have clogged drain. The whole finished basement had water damages after the technician "checked the unit to be good and functional". Contacted Cool breeze with no resolution. The technician is incompetent and said the clog was in the house draining system. I am tired of them and so had another company checked the unit and the clog was in the HVAC draining system which the COOL Breeze technician failed even to look at it. I ended up buying a whole new HVAC system and re-finished the basement. SO from my experience I can tell you COOL Breeze technician is not experienced and their incompetence resulted in property damage.

Excellent - I received multiple quotes and Cool Breeze was at the lower end of pricing but significantly better in all aspects of the initial engagement process - customer response, discussions directly with the owner, clarity of the options, suggestions for what system will best fit (lower complexity Bryant systems were strongly recommended, with excellent rationale and explanations). The service was on-time and flawless, and the tech worked very hard top assure I was educated, informed and satisfied. The sheet work done has been pre-measured, designed and pre-fabricated in the Cool Breeze shop, and the installation was perfect. This is an additional review on the Cool Breeze Plumbing outfit I used 10 days ago on January 14th in one house I own. This review is for my other house and the ancient gas furnace which was not worth fixing had stopped working a few weeks ago so I was running space heaters there. I had gotten a number of estimates on a whole new furnace from several other local companies, and Cool Breeze, who had given me estimates on 3 different models seemed to be the lowest in the collection. They offered the low price spread Goodman brand and 2 Bryant models which was their house brand furnace, a Bryant Basic for a medium price, and a high end Bryant model too. I opted for the medium priced Bryant. The 2 terrific guys showed up right on time, had clearly installed many of these units before, answered all kinds of questions I had on all things related to the heating system, completed the work in 4-5 hours, made absolutely sure that it worked perfectly, and left me a bunch of new filters gratis, cleaned up the work site thoroughly, and the new furnace runs like a champ. We are totally pleased with the whole deal from start to finish and both houses are warm and toasty now. I recommend this company wholeheartedly.

The technician showed up during our scheduled time frame and was very knowledgeable and professional. He found a water leak in our furnace and fixed it. We're glad we called to get preventative maintenance because the leak was starting to rust. It's also nice that Cool Breeze have electronic invoicing too.

Our really ancient but normally reliable Sears Gas furnace was cycling off and on but was blowing cold air. This was early January on Sunday morning, so I called Cool Breeze Monday morning, The guy came this afternoon, a couple of hours early, located the problem, was able to work around having to find that very non standard part and we had heat blasting out in just a few minutes. With the weather being in the low 20's and high 30's, we were totally pleased. We have used them a number of times over the years and they have always been great, Recommended!

Furnace began cycling during a very cold period in January. Eventually, I couldn't get it to stay fired up. First tech tried some thing to repair it, but it only made it worse. Ultimately determined that the cost to repair the 12 year old Goodman was going to probably be about 60-70% of the cost of replacing it altogether, so I decided to replace.

After a failed attempt to repair, determined that it would be almost as cheap to replace the 12 year old Goodman furnace as it would to repair the various components that were failing.

Not satisfying at all! The merchant sent over two technicians to perform the diagnosis for me: one for the water heater and one for my heating system. Of course, they charged me for the diagnosis fees right away. Results of both diagnosis turned out to be inaccurate. Cool Breeze failed to repair either of my defective systems, obviously because of their own wrong diagnosis. I had to call another company to take care of my projects and I had to pay for diagnosis fee again . I called/emailed Cool Breeze and asked for a reimbursement; however, they never got back to me. Bottom line; an awful experience!!

Cool Breeze did a wonderful job helping us and in the summer! We had a duct we needed moved into the ceiling. They don't do the drywall repair, but notified us of that before the estimate even started. They had the fastest lead time AND lowest estimate and were helpful by e-mail and phone. And this was in the middle of summer. We brought them back in to interrogate our duct (had a weird pinging sound) and we'll bring them bak in after our gut job renovation to clean the ducts. Every employee we've encountered is a consummate, knowledgeable professional. The cost of service includes all of our jobs
