He came and gave us a diagnostic of the issue and was very patient in explaining the issue. We asked a significant number of questions and he was patient in providing the answers. If we decide a follow up is needed, we will be calling them and recommending them to our neighbors, etc. Very professional and courteous.

Professional and explained what they were doing and why. Neat inside the house, and outside at the unit.

Very quick response time for this time of year. Thankfully, because I had the inspection report from the buyers for 3 weeks and hadn't scheduled the service until Monday. They showed up on time and were very courteous to my elderly father who has Alzheimer's. They explained everything they found and what was required to be fixed. I was very impressed by the worker's professionalism and attention to detail. We have used Cool Breeze for over 20 years and I wouldn't use anyone else. Most of my friend's now use them as well.

First, the tech didn't show up until 3:45 when my appointment time slot was scheduled for 11-1. Apparently, the tech was held up on a prior job and didn't bother to call me to let me know he was going to be late. Secondly, when he finally did show up, I showed him how my A/C unit was leaking condensation and he saw that my A/C unit was freezing up and immediately said that I need a completely new A/C unit. He gave some long lengthy explanation of why my unit was freezing up, and why it was leaking, and said it was too old to repair, but he didn't check anything or touch a thing. Granted he couldn't open anything up to check because it was frozen, but he could have gave some hypothetical situations as to why it was freezing as opposed to telling me that I need a whole new system. I wanted to ask him to reschedule the appointment after the frozen ice melted so he could actually check to see what the issue was instead of just assuming I need a new system. Also, I paid $59 for the deal, but they charged $49 for the diagnosis, but I never received any type of compensation for the extra $10 I spent. So a couple days after the tech left, the A/C unit stopped freezing, and stopped leaking for about 10 days (but eventually resumed), which is when I called around to get a new company to come look at it. When the new tech came, he saw that the condensation drain was heavily clogged, and cleaned it out (leaking has stopped completely now). I asked him why the A/C unit would freeze, and he informed that the freon could be low, which it was very low. The new tech also stated that my A/C unit is very old, and would not last much longer, BUT, he specifically stated that the unit was not broken, worked fine as of now and that I could utilize it for the near future without experiencing any problems in the short-term. He advised that I should get a warranty so that when the unit does break down due to old age, I could make a claim, and get any/all future repairs fixed, and potentially a new unit. The Cool Breeze tech seemed like he just wanted to get back to his office before rush hour traffic starts, and advise me to call my homeowners insurance and get them to replace the unit. Obviously, home owner's insurance doesn't cover wear and tear (as opposed to 3rd party home warranty) and just wasted my time and money. Cool Breeze has an attractive price, but in my opinion, it's just to bait you in to calling them, and we all know the old saying, "you get what you pay for"

Everything went well. Sadly, my system appears to be performing as well as it ever will.

They did the job. I had to call them to schedule, they didn't have me on their appointment list. But, they still managed to get somebody out to do the job. They were okay.

Cool Breeze was responsive and came out to see our problem the day after my husband called. We found out that the problem was relatively minor and only our check valve needed to be replaced. Ronan was at our less than an hour, not including the time it took him to go buy the parts. However, the bill came to $285 which is egregious for this service. I called the main line and was told someone would call me back shortly - they never did. I called back later and was told that Ronan would call me back directly, which he did. He stated that the part cost less than $70 and that it was a normal markup for him to charge me $120 for it. He also stated that $165 for an hours worth of labor was fair and normal - which I disagree with. Overall the company itself was fine, but I feel taken advantage of for this job. He offered to give me 10% off the next job - no thanks, I'm not coming back.

It was a special that I purchased online. I would use them again and I would recommend them to other people. The estimate they gave me for the air conditioner replacement was very good. They were very much prompt. The workers were very good. They were professional and business-like.

I highly recommend Cool Breeze! My appointment window was between 10-12pm and Henry called to inform me when he was 15 minutes away and showed up at my house promptly at 11am. Henry was very knowledgeable and helpful in thoroughly explaining exactly what he was doing each step of the way during service. I have dealt with other companies where the tech tries to add unnecessary services or drags out the service to increase the rate, but that was not the case with Cool Breeze. Henry was pleasant, extremely efficient, and truly professional. I will absolutely use Cool Breeze again!

The cost ended up about $150. The staffs were pleasant and good. They did the service pretty quickly. I would tell a friend or family member about them; I think so.

He was great! They scheduled him the next day and he was able to complete the project partially on Friday night and then with the full parts on Saturday morning. Since we did not have the right ladder, he even uninstalled a fan in the room where there was a crawl space so that he could access the roof that way. The a/c started working immediately. We were thrilled.

Cool Breeze was quick to schedule and we were able to see them the next day, which was great given how hot it was that week and how busy I'm sure they were. The HVAC repairman was courteous and did a good job of explaining exactly what was wrong and what repair was required. He erroneously first checked my neighbor's HVAC (both are on our roofs). In between his first and second visit my neighbor had her HVAC repairman come for a separate issue and he mentioned that both her and my HVAC systems had not been properly closed up. A piece had to be ordered and while I was told that would be done first thing the next morning, when I called Cool Breeze the next afternoon they were unaware of my situation. They ordered it the day after that. When the HVAC repairmen returned with the piece a few days later it was quick install and now our system works perfectly. The price for everything seemed reasonable. I'm not sure Cool Breeze would be my first choice next time but overall they did a good job.

Both units are hummiing now and everything was explained clearly and in detail. Also, there was a mix-up re the schedule so they missed the revised appointment date. This was a totally innocent mistake yet they rescheduled, and gave me both tune-ups for free. They also arrived at 8:05 for an arrival window of 8-10. Do not hesitate, this is your HVAC company!

They cleared a backed up drain and did a HVAC 20 point check. It went well. They did a good job. In and out. No problems.

Service provider was very professional. Diagnosed the problem quickly and was in and out within an hour.

The rental property is occupied by an older, non-English speaking woman, so I instructed the scheduler to have the technician call the woman's granddaughter 30 minutes prior to arrival in order to obtain access (which they did!). I also instructed the scheduler to have either the technician call either myself, or my supervisor (both numbers were provided upon scheduling the service call) once he/she figured out what the issue was so we could approve of any repairs. Neither of us received a call at the time of the service and it took two and a half weeks to actually get a diagnosis after having called multiple times, leaving messages and stressing the importance of us needing to respond to our client's questions about what was actually done at the appointment. The only thing written on the work order was "bad compressor". That's it. It took two and a half weeks to know that a bad compressor was the issue. This would have been helpful to hear at the time of the service call so that we could get an estimate on how much the fix would be. The fact that the technician didn't bother to inform anybody of the issue was disappointing. In order to even receive a response from the company, the woman I corresponded with had to sort through "thousands" of work orders - which obviously is not her fault, but how does a company operate if they have thousands of work orders to sort through every time a customer has a question about services performed? I was overall disappointed in the lack of response and efficiency with this company, which is a shame because most reviews are positive.

It went fine but does not seem to include a detailed inspection as described in the ad.

Technician tested the system and found that the thermostat was defective. I then had him install a new one and the system is now working perfectly.

In all honesty there are three things that this company does right (besides fixing the problem; that's super important): 1) Customer service is on point. The lady that answers the phone is polite and pleasant, the owner is straightforward and honest. 2) No BS. As first time homeowners, we were a bit taken back by the cost of the quote, but after some research I learned they weren't trying to inflate the bill. The cost was right in line with what I've seen from others and so was the fix. 3) Their techs are great. We had Henry all three times they had to come (we had a small hiccup which was taken care of quickly and professionally). He spent a lot of time trying to make sure it was the correct fix and that it was done right, and I really appreciate that. Also from talking with him, you can tell he respects the company he works for and that makes a good bit of difference in how someone performs their work. When we need to replace the unit, we'll be calling them; that's for sure. The AC has never worked better!

I initially called this company when our water heater (A.O. Smith) pilot light went out. They were able to send someone out that day--he did relight the pilot (5 ming), and when asked why the pilot would go out suddenly, just claimed it was an old water heater, charged me $95 and left. Quick online research led me to think it was probably our thermocouple that needed to be replaced, so I called the company back. They offered to send someone else out with more experience after talking to three different people at the company. Someone came out, and changed our thermocouple (the whole burner assembly), which cost $240, including a $95 service fee again. The new burner assembly did not solve the problem and the pilot continued to go out on our water heater, so I called him back. He said he would look into it and call the water heater company and get back to me. He never got back to me (still waiting). The company certainly cashed both checks, never solved our problem with the water heater. The responsiveness of this company was very poor, I had to call or text the plumber multiple times to get him to schedule a time to even come out. I will never use this company again.

Came home to find A/C not working, house very hot. Called and were promised same day service that evening. They expected to be around 5 or 6 but it ended up being almost 8:30 when the tech arrived. But he was very knowledgeable and professional, and was able to quickly diagnose and fix the problem. This is the second time I have used this company. They seem to have trouble estimating when they will arrive, but they keep their promise to get it done that day, even if it gets late. They come with lights and are prepared to work in the dark if necessary. Very reasonable prices, especially considering it was same day service. We would call them again, and be willing to accept that they may arrive a bit later than planned due to earlier jobs taking longer than expected to complete.

Everything went very well. Our technician was prompt and very professional. He was was polite and very informative as well. The company does NOT hit you over the head with outrages prices or anything. Just off of first hand experience if you decide to use this company I recommend you ask for Henry.

We hired the provider using their deal for a 20-point inspection/tune-up for the A/C system in our new house. I was at work and my wife was home while the work was being done, but she put me on Facetime with the tech to summarize before he left. My wife said he arrived within the specified window and was quick but rushed. The system had been having trouble keeping up with the high temperatures. Granted, it's 24 years old, but we wanted this inspection so we could know if there were any readily identifiable issues that might help until we could afford to replace it. When I asked him whether he'd covered the 20 points listed on the ad for the deal, he said "I don't know anything about 20 points. I just do the tune-up." I'm pretty sure he didn't cover most of then. He put new fluid into the outdoor A/C unit (an extra charge, but okay) and measured the temperature differential between upstairs and down. He said he couldn't reach a couple things and just pointed at things saying "This is old." One of the main reasons we chose this deal is because one of the 20 points was "Inspecting duct work for energy loss", which he did not do. The only thing he did on that point was to say that we should put a magnetic cover on a vent in the utility room (which was actually made of plastic, so what did he think the magnet would stick to?). Despite no fine print about extra charges for checking ducts in the crawlspace like other ads said, he refused to go into the crawlspace. In the end, his recommendations were simply: 1) put a magnetic cover on the plastic vent, 2) get the ducts cleaned, and 3) replace the whole system. When you advertise a 20-point inspection, try giving your tech a checklist of 20 items to mark off for the customer. Yet another lesson in getting what you pay for.
