Cool Breeze promptly provided the 20 point AC check-up on my Condenser and other part of AC. Professional said everything was fine; system did not need oiling.

They gave me some cost saving tips for the future.

The trusted HVAC tech I relied upon for 15 years retired so we turned to Angie's List and selected Cool Breeze. We called on Sunday afternoon and the technician, Henry Hernandez, arrived early that evening. In short, Henry is an honest, competent, and friendly professional whom we feel fortunate to have encountered. He was careful, logical, and thorough as he diagnosed and solved our problem (a dead bird inside the inducer motor). The house was warm before he walked out the door, and we will request Henry when we have future HVAC service needs.

The 2 technicians sent were very thorough and polite. Answered all my questions and concerns. I have only 2 suggestions, that they be provided with a powered screw driver to make removing screws from vents and replacing such easier and faster. And a tall ladder, if I had not had one they would have been unable to reach vents in cathedral ceilings.

This is a fabulous company. Henry was quite knowledgeable and professional. He was very patient and explained all he was doing. The price was so reasonable. I know you will be satisfied.

We had two separate visits from the contractor. The first was a tune-up purchased on Angie's List, and the contractor performed the services professionally. The second was a visit to replace coolant line protective tubing and to research a thermostat change since we have a rare system. The second visit took some time to set up, because the previous technician left and the work order was lost. However, once the contractor showed up, they performed again to a high standard and the technicians were informed and knowledgeable.

It went well, but when the work was completed the service person wrote and invoice and asked for payment. When I told him that this was an Angie's List deal, he accepted that and did not pursue further payment.

Bought a new Heat Pump form these guys 4 months ago, since they are factory authorized, and their cost proposals was very competitive. During the install we had several issues, which is why I'm not giving them an A, but Saul was always nice and patient, and worked long hours to resolve the issues, and make sure the system works.

So I suppose the job we brought these guys out for - the 20-point inspection of our AC unit - was done well. The technician came out on time, inspected the unit, and figured out a problem we'd been having with the unit pretty quickly. Our unit would stop cooling when the temperature was too hot, and what's the point of having air conditioning if it doesn't work when it's over 95 degrees out? He figured out that a filter on the roof had been installed backwards and that the unit was overloading in the heat as a result. He explained the problem to me and did some free work on the house for us by pumping down some coolant to alleviate the problem for a little while, saying that he was sure we'd use his company for the repair anyway. I said we sure would. Or at least, we tried to. We called and wrote emails, tried at least half a dozen times over the next two or three weeks to contact them about scheduling the repair, or at the very least, an estimate. The receptionist who answered the phone and messages always made it seem as if she was hearing from us for the first time, as if I hadn't already contacted her several times already, and she always seemed surprised or unaware of the problem, saying that she's look into it and get back to me by the end of the day. Never happened. The last time I called, she said that the job had been taken over by the supervisor who was on vacation or something and I might have to wait until he returned, but she'd look into it and call me back... That was the last I heard of Cool Breeze, and the last I care to. If they don't want our business, I can find someone who does.

The appointment went well. The technician arrived late but made up for it by giving me more of his time. He answered all my questions and gave me a clear explanation of his diagnosis. His recommendations were pressure-free. It would have been a textbook perfect experience, if not for the part where he missed the designated window of arrival. He called to say he'd be late, then he completely lost sight of my appointment until I called back that evening. Had I not called, he would have skipped the appointment entirely.

Due to their workload, the owner of Cool Breeze was actually my technician. He was very professional and very experienced. He not only fixed the problem with my air conditioner, but rooted out the cause (condensation from a pipe had dripped on the electronics) and recommended an easy fix. I will definitely call them again.

I'd suspected for some time that it was time to replace my 26-year-old A/C unit. My initial call to Cool Breeze was answered professionally with no wait time. I asked for a check and tune-up of the A/C, although I was fairly certain I was going to have to replace the compressor unit. They gave me an appointment for later that week.The service technician, Rene, gave me a 30-minute advance notice of his arrival, which I appreciated. When he arrived, he was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. After inspecting the unit and confirming that it needed to be replaced, he quoted a price that I considered fair. He also advised that the new unit be placed in a slightly different location -- the old one had been installed before the previous owner had built a deck on the side of the house, which was now over the unit. Rene explained that the new compressor would be better located just out from under the deck to allow better air flow. He was then able to call the office and set up an appointment for the following week. When the day came, the technicians, Edgar and Noel, arrived on time and performed their work very efficiently. Like Rene, they were very courteous, friendly, and professional. I have confidence in this company and will use their services for yearly tune-ups of my HVAC system. I am also planning to call them for some plumbing work. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

Very nice guys and very responsive. I had an emergency over the weekend and Ron sent someone on Sunday to help. Rene was the guy that came and he correctly diagnosed the problem - I had an AC drain overflow. He first disconnected the Network Interface Module (NIM) because it looked damaged but that didn?t help. Then he tested the main board and concluded that the culprit was probably the board. Surprisingly, the board did not look damaged at all so I decided to call someone else for a second opinion. Well, the second opinion was the same and I called Ron again to schedule an appointment to fix the main board. I thought (and hoped) that he would send Rene again since he was excellent but he sent another guy, Saul. I was disappointed but not for long. Saul was amazing. Nice, humble, and very knowledgeable. He replaced the main board and made several recommendations - all of which were very good. I am very happy with all the people I interacted with and I am planning on scheduling another appointment. Will keep you posted.

Very responsive and helpful in explaining our AC system to us (have never owned a central AC system before). Made great suggestions about how to keep our system in good working order throughout the summer, which proved to be very helpful. Will definitely be contacting them again for our heating system's tune-up next month.

They first attempted to trouble shoot over the phone in case the solution was simple. Considering this might cost them, I greatly appreciate the customer focus on such an approach. When I was unable to repair, they came out fast and assessed the situation. We have a 2 month old in the home and they went out of their way to find the parts and install them quickly. I am amazed at how quite the system runs now. I would highly recommend them.

We were very pleased with the communication with Cool Breeze and with the responsiveness and professionalism of the technician who performed the work. The work was performed in a timely fashion and involved ordering a replacement part after the first diagnostic visit. Cool Breeze did a great job in keeping us informed on timing and costs throughout the process.

Everything went very well....from making the appointment, getting a weekend appointment to getting everything checked completely. Very happy.

He was on time, very helpful. Made suggestions for how to set the air flow and it's REALLY helped a lot. It was a good test because it got very hot after he as here. The freon and capacitor were probably part of what helped but still a good result all in all. Only negative is he did not go up to the second floor in question. He had me measure the temps up there, but didn't make a trip himself. I would recommend him.
