Cool Breeze Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

My total bill was quite a bit larger than I planned but I did have a wire connected to the A/C so that my new Nest Thermostat would get power to it. I did think it was bit high for a wire connection but I understand that there are minimum charges that apply and what can you do? If I knew what wire to connect, I would have done it. I found the tech very knowledgeable and friendly, a little chatty but that beats standoffish techs I have had from other venders. Bottom line, I would not use them again and would stick to my regular guys, R&B HVAC. They are good and very friendly.

Provider was timely and efficient. He evaluated why the a/c was not functioning at full capacity, and then explained what he thought would be necessary to maximize the output of the unit. He was very reasonable and after we agreed upon a plan, he performed very well. The house needs another unit for a zoned system, but we made it work with what we have. The price was good and we ended up with a cool house despite the intense heat wave. Excellent work!

Technician arrived on time and did his work on a brutally hot day. One unit needed a new capacitor, which was replaced on the same visit at what seems a fair price. Second unit needs replacement. Technician did proper investigation to ensure that repair was not a viable option.

I can't say enough good things about Cool Breeze and the technician that visited us. Matt was knowledgeable and thorough, and offered detailed yet easy-to-understand explanations on the condition of our air conditioning system and recommendations for maintenance and repairs. Our system had not been maintained for many years. Matt brought its performance back to factory specs and I am convinced also added years to its useful lifetime.

Great! Serviceman (Alex) called ahead to let me know when he would arrive and was very courteous and helpful throughout the time he reviewed my A/C systems. He ran his tests to ensure my system was running efficiently and let me know how I can improve certain areas and what to watch out for if any issues come up. Even recommended not to get ducts cleaned as I had originally planned since mine were pretty clean he quickly looked. I'm happy with the service and can rest well knowing my system is not in need of repair. Will definitely call Cool Breeze if any A/C issues arise in the future.

They did a good job. They had good ideas on how to fix the unit.

The tech was friendly and patient. He was honest about the work that could be done ($300 to maybe fix the issue on a 15+ year old unit. Melted wiring.) But even admitted it was probably a waste to keep such an old unit limping along. We didn't have the money at the time to totally replace it and he was understanding and helpful with information for when we would.

Went great! The appointment was easy to set up. The technician called ahead of time and arrived when he said he would Once here he correctly diagnosed and fixed the problem, and gave us some tips to keep it running efficiently.

Great... Tech told me that the service was for one unit only, but extended the coupon price to include second unit. Made solid recommendations (several of which was not to spend money) and was professional. Would do business with again and planning on it.

It went well. The Cool Breeze guy explained what he was doing. He cleaned out both units as well. He was professional and took his time. Lastly, he gave us realistic next steps.

This tune up went very well. Renee showed up on time and was very polite. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained to me all about my A/C system and what exactly he was checking. We ended up replacing a filter and adding some refrigerant to my outdoor unit. The whole thing took about an hour, and my duct temperature went down ten degrees before he hit the road. I would recommend this service to anyone.

I used the Angie's List coupon for a tune up. All went well. The technician showed up in the scheduled window. The unit needed freon, which he recharged.

Extremely well. They were able to squeeze us in quickly to combat the high summer temps. Matthew was thorough and explained everything he did & why. He diagnosed the problem and had the parts we needed on the truck. Extremely professional, obvious expertise.

The technician showed up late. I was given a time window of 4-6 pm, but the technician showed up at 7:30 without giving me a noticed. I had to call the scheduler to find out they were running behind schedule. The technician was a very nice man and to some degree helpful but I'm not sure I received the services promised. I didn't get a report or anything actionable. They looked at the unit and mentioned that the cost to fix it would be high and that I should evaluate my options.

Cool Breeze has not been a pleasure to work with. I had a Mitsubishi ductless unit installed in one of my bedrooms and have encountered issues with the company every step of the way. I scheduled the install for the first available date I could - two weeks from the time of the order - and the team simply didn't show up to install it on my day. I had to call the office and after some scrambling was told they couldn't make it that day and that I had to reschedule for 8 days later. After the unit finally got installed it stopped working after 2 weeks of use. When I called to report the issue, I was told I'd have to wait 2 days to have a technician come and look at it; after some cajoling the owner agreed to come look at it that afternoon. He showed up and spent 5 minutes looking at it before misdiagnosing the problem and saying there was nothing he could do. Two days later a technician showed up and told me it was due to leaky refrigerant, which is easy to diagnosis and fix temporarily, and which I can only assume is a result of sloppy installation work. To their credit, I was given a discount for the installation no-show and they are in the process of fixing the leaky refrigerant line (I hope), but they have been difficult to deal with and the issue is still ongoing more than a month later. I got quotes from multiple service providers (all Mitsubishi diamond dealers) and Cool Breeze offered by far the lowest price. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
