Cool Breeze Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning has earned its reputation as an industry leader by providing the best heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) products and services to the greater metro area. Our staff has proudly served Maryland, DC, and Virginia residential and commercial HVAC needs for 40 years. We have 21 highly trained employees including dedicated technicians, installers and office staff. We do not use subcontractors. Anyone from Cool Breeze that comes to your home or place of business will be licensed, insured, and wearing a uniform. We carry Master permits for all jurisdictions in which we work, and our employees have a 3rd party certification with NATE and carry Journeyman permits. We charge $79 for residential service which includes the trip and 1st half hour of the service call. For Angie's List members, we discount this rate to $49 and offer 10% off all parts needed. Our company is a community-based, family owned, equal-opportunity employer, where every employee is hand-picked and trained by the owner to be professional and courteous. This strategy ensures top quality and professional personnel. Excellent work and efficiency by the technician. He checked both units and tuned it up. The vibration pads made an immediate difference and I am very happy with the results.

We have looked into this call which occurred about a year ago and you are in deed correct that our technician did not arrive during the window of time you were promised. Although we were late, our office policy was followed and you were notified that we were running behind schedule on that particular day. We did have to reschedule the call due to the fact that our standard 30' ladder was not long enough to address the issue you were having. Rene did an excellent job. We had a clogged drain in our AC unit. He cleared the blockage and also added refrigerant. He was prompt, very professional, worked quickly and did not recommend any unnecessary work. He explained the work that was needed and the cost. I recommend this company highly and will definitely use them again.

The service call went great, our heating and A/C system was purchase and installed by another company and never ran as it was designed. Our heating system has a variable speed fan that ran at full speed when the heat was on, Rene is the service representative from Cool/Breeze Plumbing, Heating &A/C that fixed this problem by changing a couple of jumpers on the control board and our system in now working as it was designed to.

We were very happy with them. The tech are very good, but the bureaucracy is a bit slow. They were very respectful of our preferences like covering their shoes in the house. It's been a very good experience. I am a very tough grader, and I will give them grade of a B. I'm happy to recommend them to anyone!

The technician arrived within scheduled time window. He showed me the problems he spotted and explained why they were problems. Then he gave me suggestions on how to fix the problem myself or how much he would charge to do it for me. He exceeded my expectations by also changing my filter and cleaning off the outside unit. I would hire again.

it went okay, service was 1.5 hours late without a call. I called to check in and it was then confirmed. Screws on unit were not replaced correctly, and thermostat was not check nor was the condenser cleaned properly. Service Tech was nice and polite, just not sure I would hire again.

After posting my original review of an overall "F" (there was a misunderstanding what a tune-up entailed), the owner himself called to see what he could do to make me a satisfied customer. He offered to personally come by and perform the tune-up. I am now confident that Ronnie stands behind his company and his work and there was no intent to deceive. I originally believed a tune-up would include services like cleaning off the coil or topping off refrigerant, but apparently it does not. Originally, I had felt like I paid for a contractor's estimate.

I was VERY pleased with the work and professionalism and will certainly keep using them. The replacement parts were an additional fee but that was ok and it needed to be done.
Description of Work: My AC was "peeing" for some unknown reason after I had another company perform a routine maintenance check. Long story but decided to have someone else check it out and went to Angie's List and found Cool Breeze. The inspection price was a good deal and I figured something else would have to be fixed which it did. The service person was very professional and quickly figured out the cause of the "peeing" (The previous company had not cleaned out the hose!) He was very good about explaining things and also showed me two parts that needed replacing - it was very clear why.
