Description of Work: Our local move was over 2 days as we hired Commonwealth for both packing and moving. Oscar, Javier, Christian, Julio and Jose worked diligently and professionally even on the hottest day of the year. We would not hesitate to use Commonwealth again.

Description of Work: We chose Commonwealth Movers because of the high ratings from Washington Consumer Checkbook. They were very efficient, professional, friendly and helpful. We moved office furniture from one location to a new office and our home as we were also setting up a home office. Unlike other estimates we received, they were right on target with the length of time it would take and their charges so there were no surprises. They disassembled some furniture and put it together again in our new location. Highly recommend Commonwealth Movers.

+ -1 moreThe move was seamless, perhaps it was made easier by the fact that we only moved about 10 blocks. We marked all of the boxes in advance with the rooms for which they were intended and everything was placed correctly. The movers willingly moved a few pots in the back yard that were not in the original estimate. They arrived on time and finished earlier than expected.
Description of Work: Commonwealth moved our effects from a two story house to a three story house. We packed most of our belongings ourselves so the company was only responsible for protecting and packing furniture, They disassembled and reassembled our bed and shrink-wrapped the sofa and several other large articles.

+ -1 moreMovers arrived on time and were very professional and careful loading my things. It was suppose to take three hours to load but took two. Unloading went just as smooth. The movers were careful to ask me where to put everything. They placed my furniture just were I wanted it. Nothing was broken or damaged. I was very pleased with the moving crew - excellent. I would highly recommend the company to anyone. A friend referred me to them, she had used them twice and was very happy with them. Costs were explained to me upfront.
Description of Work: I moved five blocks from a 3 BR, 2.5 BA, LR/DR Condo to larger townhouse. I packed most everything, Commonwealth vacuum wrapped my furniture, TVs, and glass tables.
