The installation was conducted professionally. It did require some time to schedule an appointment. Once that was settled, the process proceded smoothly. The installer arrived during the appointed timeframe. The work was completed within two hours. The installed ceiling fan worked well and I had no problems with the fan following installation.

Dave Petrie was knowlegable, and thorough. I will not hesitate to call on Certified Electrical Techologies again.

We were experiencing electrical problems in which the front half of our house was without power for quite a while. I thoroughly checked three of the four panel boxes, mapped out all of the outlets to their associated circuit breaker switch, changed out a few outlets and even changed out a circuit breaker. None of that fixed the issue. The fourth panel box is tied to our generator and I thought it only affected the house’s electricity when and if we lost power. Needless to say, the electrician from CET checked all four-panel boxes and simply flipped the tripped breaker located on the fourth panel box connected to the generator. I was delighted that the problem was an easy fix but furious that I spent so much time troubleshooting when the issue was simply a tripped breaker! $136.00 for a two-minute job is painful to my pockets and pride but I don’t blame CET at all. They came out followed correct troubleshooting steps, found the problem, and corrected it. The serviceman was polite and professional. I felt the need to try to get my money’s worth out of the technician so I asked him a few home improvement questions and asked his opinion a few electrical ideas that my wife and I were pondering. He had no problem answering all of the questions and checking a few outlets for me. I will definitely be using them for future jobs.

Both went well. Kudos to the technician they sent out (David). Clean, good installation; no problems afterwards. In one instance, i forgot to add my discount coupon and they added it when i inquired. Quite prompt too.

A circuit had gone out in our house and we couldn't locate the problem. We were able to schedule an appointment for that day and David arrived promptly, quickly found the problem, fixed it and even addressed some other questions we had, all within one hour, so we didn't incur charges for a subsequent hour. We have since had other difficulties with the wiring in our house, and CET has been excellent in responding promptly and thoroughly.

Everything from initial contact to work performed was excellent. Great communication leading up to the appointment. Gentleman that came to do the work was excellent. Did a great job and very pleased with the work. I have been looking for a new 'go to' electrician since my last one went out of business. And I think I found them. Will definitely use again and recommend,

The electrician, Alan, called in advance as the company indicated he would. His estimate of how soon he would arrive was right on the money and was on the early end of the appointment window we had been promised. His manner was friendly and professional. As to his competency, I can't say enough. He had both repairs completed in less time than it takes me to empty the dishwasher. And that is no exaggeration. Both of the repairs were flawless and now we're able to use the garage at night, and we can find our way around the basement. The pricing was about what you would expect for this amount of work. Considering the quality of the service we received I feel like we truly got out money's worth. In summary, if you need electrical work done, call these folks first!

They arrived on time and gave me good advice on the electrical infastructure of my home and installed the surge protector. They were in and out in around 45 minutes.

Making an appointment went smoothly. The workman called prior to arriving to let me know he was on the way. He arrived on time. The work was completed in a timely manner. The workman covered the work area and cleaned up after the job was completed. On the down side, I fell the installation was a little crude. I feel a stud finder would have prevented a mishap of hitting a stud that caused on gap between the light and the ceiling of which I had to repair myself.

PHENOMENAL!!!! THE QUINTESSENCE OF PROFESSIONALISM!!!! I am more pleased with this company than any company I have ever worked with on anything!!!! The owner, Gary Epstein, answered my call promptly at 8:30 p.m.AT NIGHT - no answering service or call back, he just picked up the phone. I told him I had no heat so he gave the call priority and scheduled me for the very next morning. He explained his fees which I think are very fair. Since he said I'd have to pay for a minimum hour of work, and he said it should take less than an hour, I asked about some other minor problems I wanted to fix and also one future project. He was very knowledgeable, efficient and clear - didn't waste any time but didn't rush me either, and was also friendly. For the future project, he guided me to a website where I could see what some timers looked like before ordering. Technician Dave Petry called the next morning to let me know he'd be there in 20 minutes and came by exactly when expected, in the middle of the snow storm despite horrible driving conditions. He fixed my one urgent problem - the HVAC circuit, and then several other problems, all within the 1 hour so I didn't get charged anything more than their minimum fee for all this work. He was so fast and 100% efficient - not a wasted moment - this easily could have been a longer call if he were not so fast. He was neat and wore shoe covers when he came in the house. By comparison, another electrician I used recently charged me not only his one hour minimum fee (which I was prepared to pay) but 1/2 hour travel time both to AND from my job, a whole extra hour that I wasn't expecting. That's why I didn't use them again. And my HVAC contractor, under whom I've had a service contract for the past 26 years, quoted me a price that was double for this call - it would have taken him much longer, wouldn't have included all the extra electrical work, and wouldn't have been scheduled for another day. So hopefully you can understand why I am so grateful and hope to send them lots of new customers with this review. Now I have heat, and all my electrical nuisances have been fixed, it couldn't have been easier, more pleasant or cheaper, and I couldn't have been happier. They are THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not at all impressed. I reached out to them because of all the positive reviews. Helpfulness and respect sorely missing even on initial call. It is all about the attitude. I have been burned a few times and now I learned. It is all about the people, not the price. I would say they failed the phone call interview pretty badly.

They were very nice, on time, and did a good job.

Everything went great. Schedualing was easy and they were able to get out to me in a couple of days. David the electrician, was very knowledgable and was able to qucikly and methodically knock out all of the items I had for him. I live in an older home and his knowledge really helped to save time (and for me money). I will be using them again and would highly recommend to anyone.

The electrician showed up on time, was professional, and thorough. He checked all of the electrical systems in the house and gave us tips on how best to maintain them to ensure that they continue to function properly.

We are so upset about the way that the technician handled our Electrical situation. The cost was so low due to the fact that it was through our Home Warranty. The company was good about calling the schedule service and were able to come out pretty quickly. When the technician showed up he stated that he had 25 years of experience and that he was confident that he could fix the problem. He opened several outlets and stated that there were wires touching and that he had fixed the problem in the kitchen and in the office. He did state that is was hard to tell if the problem was for sure fixed because if the circuit did not trip right away then he could not tell. That if it did trip again to call and he would come back. He presumed that the office and the kitchen were on the same circuit and that he had fixed the problem. Within hours of him leaving we lost power and the circuit tripped again. I called the company back and had to wait several days this time for another service call. When he came out he opened a few more outlets and was again confident that the problem was fixed. He did state this time that the microwave should be on a separate circuit breaker and that if the problem re-occurs that he would be happy to come back and fix the problem for a fee of about $250. He did fix both the office and the kitchen it appeared and told me to call his cell phone if the problem re-occurred, that he lives near by and could come back. Again the circuit tripped even though the microwave, toaster oven and the coffee maker were not plugged in. This time when my husband went to reset the breaker, the breaker itself sparked. We called the technician 3 times on his cell # like he told me to and never heard back from him. I called our home warranty company to reschedule with someone else and was denied service because he had stated that the microwave was the problem. CLEARLY the microwave is NOT the problem if it was not even plugged in when the problem re-occured. The only thing that was plugged in the last time the breaker blew was the the home alarm system. So, he really messed everything up because HE could not find any other solution to the problem. Here we are a week later with still no power to most of our kitchen. He also stated on the contract after his first visit that he had been at our home for 1.5 hours when he was indeed at our house for only 10 minutes. The second time he stated 1 hour despite only being here for about 20 minutes. I can understand if there is a minimum charge but why stating 2 different times when neither were even close to correct. If we actually get someone else out here it will be very clear that his assessment is incorrect.

This was a somewhat tricky job as we live in a log house and the installation was direct to a board ceiling, not a cavity ceiling as in a normal house. Installer was flexible enough to run electrical cable down wall to a regular outlet. My only complaint was that the cord used was too heavy gage - it's black and quite thick.

Certified Electrical Technologies's price, quality, responsiveness, and professionalism were excellent. He was a very nice guy.

They were nice, great guys. They did an assessment, they recommended xy and z. I got what I paid for. I just didn't use them for the followup.

I was very pleased with the quality of work and the explanations about each job performed.

Went very well and all work was accomplished quickly and with skill. In particular talked to Gary on initial call and he was very helpful in defining what was needed and what his people could accomplish. There were no surprises and we are very satisfied.

The serviceman who performed the inspection was very thorough and very willing to answer all my questions. I liked the advice he gave and his integrity was quite evident. I used this company in the past and was satisfied with the services I received.

This is an example of excellent customer service: I called Feb. 14 to schedule some the work. I was pleased that my call was answered immediately, I received clear information and the work was scheduled with an approximate price and I gave credit card info. to hold the time. On Feb. 15 I left the house without my cell phone. While I was out another electrician appeared to do the work. This was a fellow I had tried calling before calling Certified and left a message asking him to call. My wife had him do the work and paid him. Then the Certified technician called and my wife told him that another electrician had already done the work. When I got home I called Certified, spoke to Gary Epstein, explained what had happened and was very pleased that he did not charge me for the missed work. He certainly could have. I can see why this firm is so highly rated!

I got electrical done by Certified Electrical Technologies. I used their services in August. I was impressed by them. They were very punctual and professional. I would like to use them again.
