It was very good. They did a really good job and I was very pleased about them. The service technician seem to really know what he was talking about, very polite and hones, I've got no negative feedback on them, and it was very good on what they did. In fact I've got another project to install few more lamps and lighting fixtures and we're gonna get them to do it again.

Called and made appointment, scheduled on date I requested, electrician called ahead like advised. He was very courteous and professional. I asked for his opinion if the ceiling would support the heavy chandelier and provided good advise. The removal and installations were quick and no problems. I would definitely hire him again as the service was great.......

CET technician who was troubleshooting couple of non-working circuits and outlets in the house we recently bought. Technician was punctual and called me 30 min before of his arrival. He was courteous, polite and very experienced. He completed his work fast and effective - all the wiring problems were resolved. I am planning to have CET installing reassessed lighting in my kitchen. Very nice experience!

Another contractor cleaned our ducts in the morning, and their equipment caused an apparent circuit overload. However, the contractor reported that he reset the breaker switch, but the power still did not turn back on. Hearing that, I was concerned about a larger problem, so I contacted CET. CET sent Dale out that afternoon to investigate the problem. He checked the flow throughout the circuit breaker board, and located the tripped switch. After the simple act of resetting the switch, the power was restored. He examined the rest of the box and noted that it was in good condition and no problems were apparent. Turns out that the duct cleaning contractor either didn't do what he said, or didn't know how to do it right. Anyway, I was very pleased with Dale's professionalism and his quick work identifying the simple solution to the problem. As would be the case with any homeowner, I hope I don't need to call an electrician again anytime soon, but if I do, I would absolutely contact CET again. Following Dale's service visit, I felt very comfortable about his knowledge and attention to detail.

Overall the service performed was very good for the price. The tech showed up on time and communicated what he was going to do. He was competent and I appreciated that he made minor repairs outside of the inspection at no additional charge. The inspecition revealed some minor work and a major hazzard with the electrical panel that needs to be replaced and I will likely use this same company to perform the work.

This is a very professional company. Because I was installing an Energy Star water heater, I needed an outlet for the fan to plug into. They asked a lot of questions on the phone when I called, so they would calculate the correct amount of time for the electrician. They asked for my credit card number and would charge me if I cancelled without adequate advance notice. This gave me pause, but I gave it to them because they have a good reputation. They wrote me an email confirming the date of the service. The electrician came on time, looked over the site, and was able to use an existing switch for the power. All he had to do was convert the switch to a switch/outlet box, and that took very little time. He was gone in less than an hour.

This was the second job that they had done for me. The first, I had three outlets (2 outside, 1 inside) not working and a light switch that needed to be replaced. They also evaluated the job referenced above. On both occasions, the were prompt in their arrival. For the first job, the electrician found that the outlets were on a tripped gfc that I didn't realize was there and once found that problem was fixed. He then quickly replace a dimmer switch for a chandelier and checked out the light switch move. He gave me the options for the move and a week later I scheduled the second appointment. Once arrived, he quickly started the switch move. In addition to moving the switch, he fixed some wiring that had been incorporated into the wiring for the original switch placement. I was quite happy with both jobs and the company contacted me both by phone and email to assure that I was satisfied with the service I received. I will use them in the future if needed. I have already recommended them to a friend who was also quite happy with them.

This was a great experience all around- from making the appointment, to receiving the appointment reminder to the actual work performed. The company is also very responsive in returning phone calls. I appreciated the questions I was asked while setting-up the appointment. It helped to make certain we didn't waste each other's time and that I and the company had all the information and equipment needed to get the job done correctly. I received a lot of helpful information from the service provider. He was prompt, professional, patient, informative, friendly and took extreme pride in his work. I would definitely used this company again and request for the same service provider.

The work went very well, especially considering it required coordination with the county electrical inspector and the power company. CET had to make two separate trips to my house, not counting the initial visit to provide a proposal, and did the work in stages to minimize disruption of power during the process. Thus we were only without power for a short while. Their personnel were punctual and extremely professional, and the work was of top quality. Their office staff was likewise very helpful and pleasant to deal with. On pricing, CET did the work for less than 1/2 the amount proposed by other contractors. But, it certainly was by no means a "you get what you pay for" experience - as noted above the work was performed efficiently and excellently. In addition, they did not recommend additional work be done as did other contractors; CET said that the additional work was unnecessary, which I greatly appreciated!

Got quote ver phone for $2400. For service entrance cable to meter, from meter to box, new box, etc. was told BGE wants upgrades to 150-200 amps. This appears to be a lie. BGE was at the house the day before the estimate and told us 100 amps was sufficient and to beware of contractors trying to work for unnecessary upgrades. Another contractor came to the house (free estimate), visually inspected and said we needed 100 amp replacement at a cost of $575.

Came out to readjust and did an excellent job ... I was very pleased and will use Certified Electric again in the future.

Part of a Angie Deal. They arrived on time and did a great job. Explained what they were doing and options available. I had them install a dimmer switch along with the regular installation.

The guy who came seemed too meticulous and seemed to be professional. He is expert and knows what he's talking about. The job turned out right.

Based on the terrific reviews here, I was surprised at how discourteous Certified Electrical Technologies' estimator was on the phone. From the very beginning of the conversation, Steve was rude and condescending. He interrupted me several times. We wanted to have bathroom vents installed, but also wanted to have a ceiling fan and several fixtures replaced. As I started to list the projects, he cut me off and said they do not do the duct work for vents only install and connection. He explained this to me like I was a child, rather than a potential paying customer. Instead of offering alternative solutions or asking me about the other projects that I had started to mention, the conversation just awkwardly ended. I'm sure their technicians do great work, but their estimators might benefit from some customer service training. We'll be looking elsewhere for our electrical work.

This company does excellent work. It went very well, they were on time, did the work within 2 hours.

The electrician was very friendly and expert. He had a little trouble with some extra studs in the ceiling but persevered until the job was done. One of the boxes of four recessed lights was missing a light, so we had to schedule a second appointment for him to return and complete the job. The job also involved cutting a few more holes in our ceiling than originally anticipated, so the electrician volunteered to come back and patch the holes for us, even thought that was explicitly not part of the service. I thought that was very nice. All in all, I thought the electrician was very knowledgeable and helpful, and we are very satisfied with our new lights.
