Description of Work: Fix the baseboard heaters, Chuck was the electrician. He did an outstanding job in figuring out what the problem was and explained what he was doing. Chuck is a real asset to Certified Electrical. If I have any electrical service needed, Chuck will be the one we will call.

Description of Work: It took them 3 trips for a job that could have been done in 2 trips (1 if had scheduled it most efficiently). The 2 trips were to connect power to a new Hot Tub. The e3lectrician said he needed a 11/4" connector which he orders and said he would be back in 2 days. Another electrician showed up with the new connector 2 days later as planned but found that the connector was too large! He found a substitute in his tool box an proceeded that would work and proceeded with the connection. Note: I was charged 2 hours on one of those trips and 1.5 hours on the other and was charged for the connector that did not fit.

The emails detail the issues that we found on the Safety Inspection and then scheduling the repairs. It does appear that we replaced a few switches and a dimmer that were not on the original list of repairs that might account for the additional charges. Description of Work: Installed GFI and safety check. Technician arrived promptly, was courteous and helpful. However, responsiveness of office left much to be desired as far as provision of written estimate of recommended "heavy-up" work. In response to two calls to office, was told to expect estimate which has not been received to date. Decided to go with another company to get work done.

Description of Work: A whole house electrical inspection. When the technician found something that he seemingly over-looked, he then went back and re-checked other areas. I was very pleased with his recommendation for remedy, though we did not have this company do the work. It was not expedient for the work to be done at that time.

Description of Work: The electrician solved a very confusing problem involving a mess left behind by a construction contractor (multiple disconnected wires, fixtures and switches). He also addressed other problems on the fly (not included in the original scope of work) that helped me eliminate other issues left from work done earlier by an alarm company and a phone/internet service provider.

Description of Work: Purchased coupon in order to have a squirrel chewed electrical wire replaced on my back porch. (Proved fatal to squirrel) Had other work as well.(Actually, still need the work.) Was delayed in contacting company. Don't think I received reply. Even so, never was able to arrange a visit. Contacted Angie's List after coupon expiration. Angies List folks made good faith effort to work out arrangement with company. Left phone messages with company. Did not receive response. Do not have information regarding date of last contact. But Angies List may have history. When I renewed, I was asked about it. Angie's List reps (you folks are tireless!) gave me option to try and get refund. I greatly appreciate your efforts!

When an AL subscriber purchases a promotion, AL sends us an email. We contact the purchaser thru the AL website and request their address, phone number and email address so we can schedule an appointment. If the subscriber does not respond, we do not attempt to contact them further. That is what happened here. We never heard back from the subscriber. With regard to the expiration of an AL promotion, we will honor a purchase forever. We have never refused to service a client even well after the expiration of the coupon (we understand that people are busy and things get delayed). We have been in business 30+ years and plan to be around for a long time, so clients can use their promotion anytime they want. We also understand that people change their minds, have buyers remorse, etc. and choose not to use the promotion that they purchase. No problem ! Call AL and receive a 100% refund. No need to waste time posting a poor review because you changed your mind.
