Description of Work: They installed a ceiling fan and outdoor light. Todd was professional knowledgeable and personable. He was helpful in explaining other types of switches that may be needed in the future. I highly recommend this company and would have no hesitation in calling them again.

Description of Work: Changing the electric main switch in the circuit board. Work is done well. The owner of the business was rude when asked about the evidence of need to change it since the suggestion was provided based on the sparking noise in the switch. Also the price was 100% more than the sticker price. Though the quality if work is good I felt that effort to satisfy the customer is less and also very pricy for the parts (100% more).

Description of Work: Microwave installed a year ago stopped working. Issue turned out to be the outlet, not the microwave. Certified Electrical was called in to figure out what the issue was and spent a good deal of time determining the cause and offering solutions for us to consider for dealing with it. Once decided, they came back and completed the work of moving the outlet to a new location. They were very professional and completed the work on time and at the price they had committed. We were very pleased with the outcome and will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: as part of an angle's list deal they came for 4 hours. i wanted them to install an exterior electrical outlet in front of my house. they did that first job so quickly i had time left on the clock, so to speak, so i had them do a second job---an exterior outlet on the back side of the house.

Description of Work: Inspected and re-wired some outlet wiring in my basement, ensuring that the wiring was up to code. Most of the wiring was up to code, some was not. He promptly replaced the wiring that was too small, and finished the re-wiring of 4 outlets in about an hour. Prompt, quick, professional, explained everything well as he proceeded about the work.

Description of Work: We had two light fixtures in the upstairs hallway that needed to be replaced. The technician, Todd, was punctual and personable. Knew exactly what to do and how o do it and made short work of the job. My father always emphasized the importance of cleaning up your tools and the job site when finished with your work, and I was very impressed when Todd did just that as part of his normal routine. It says a lot about the pride he takes in his work. I'll definitely request that he return for all future projects. Well done!

Description of Work: I purchased a deal through Angie's List to have a ceiling fan put in a new location. After purchasing the deal, I informed the company that I also wanted lighting put up in a location that already had lighting. The company informed me that this would be okay at an additional cost. The contractor arrived on time and completed the first job. He did an excellent job and made sure the room was cleaned after he finished. He then did the second job. Again, he did an excellent job and ensured that the area was cleaned when he finished. He was very knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. He was also very friendly. If I need more lighting work done in the future, this company will be first on my list for consideration. This was the second time I had work done by this company, and both times the workers were friendly and the job was done with care.

Description of Work: Yesterday I began experiencing intermittent power to parts of my house. I phoned CET this morning to schedule service. After describing my issue, the gentleman who answered the phone offered an excellent description of the likely cause of the issue. He advised that in all likelihood, this was an issue between my house and the transformer, an issue which my electrical provider, BGE, was responsible for fixing. He told me exactly what to say to BGE. BGE just left my house and his advice was spot-on; BGE is fixing the problem, at no cost to me. I greatly appreciate this candid advice, he could have easily sent out a technician to look at the problem, but an honest response and sage advice saved me money and will have CET as my first call with any future electrical needs. Thanks so much – you’ve easily earned my trust.
