After some frustrating experiences with others, I feel that I've finally found "my guys." CET was very responsive to my initial service request...extremely punctual with their arrival at the scheduled time...and thorough, reassuring, and skilled in terms of the necessary work performed. I look forward to using CET again for planned future projects, and unforeseen repairs alike. Thanks to everyone at CET!

The experience with this company was good. The crew was very personable and professional. OVerall, everything went just fine with them and I would use this company again.

CET worked with me by email to schedule their technician. They gave me a window for his arrival time of between 8am and noon. The technician called me when he was about 30 minutes away. The installation went very smoothly. It took about 3 hours total from start to finish. The fact that he was able to find an electrical box in my attic helped things go a lot faster since he did not have to run wires down the walls. Since the CET technician left I've had both fans running continuously and there have been no issues. I was very impressed with their technician's knowledge and professionalism. I would definitely use CET for work in the future.

We hired this company based on the great Angie's List reports. Ric arrived on time and was as nice as he could be. He worked quickly in replacing all the old receptacles in our home. The house we recently moved into is old and the outlet covers were stuck to the walls with layers and layers of paint. It took some effort, but he got it done. Something my husband and I tried to do ourselves, but couldn't, so I was happy that it was finally done! During this visit, I asked if he had time to install 2 light fixtures. He said that it would require more time, but that he'd be happy to come back and do it for us. So I booked him for a 2nd visit. During his second visit he removed 2 ceiling fans and replaced with 2 new ceiling fixtures. He also removed and replaced another ceiling light. He installed 2 dimmer switches. He was supposed to also install a recessed light; however, it was super hot in our attic (it was an unbearably hot summer afternoon), and he asked if he could come back during an early morning appointment to do it. I wasn't in a big hurry, so I agreed. Also, while installing a ceiling fixture in my daughter's room, he discovered that the wiring was really bad -- it was actually disintegrating, which he showed me. After talking it through with him, we concluded that the wiring should be replaced. We also discussed how the main circuit panel needed to be relabeled. He listened intently as I explained the slow remodeling plans we had for our house and he made sound recommendations for me on the order of things. So on his 3rd visit (a continuation from the last), he successfully rewired the ceiling fixture in my daughter's room -- even installed a small ceiling medallion; and installed the recessed light, tying the wiring into the dimmer switch he previously installed. It is gorgeous! It took a little longer than expected because he had to drill through plaster and sheetrock (we didn't know our ceiling was made of that), so when we got down to working on relabeling our circuit panel, we only accomplished half the job. What he did discover though, was that our wiring is a big, hot mess! Some circuits are overloaded, some are empty, many have combined rooms that don't make sense, and some are tied into ? not sure what -- without further investigation. He was already running late for his next appointment, so he couldn't finish; although we identified many of the circuits. He suggested I relabel what we currently identified, and clean up the wiring a little at a time, based on importance. He gave us his recommendations, which I agreed with. For starters, the washer and refrigerator ought to be on their own dedicated circuits. I told him my head was spinning. He reassured that things weren't that bad and that it was fixable. As far as I'm concerned, Ric is our go-to electrician. He's polite to my kids, professional, and just pleasant to work with all around. I find him to be honest, reliable, and competent. So glad we found him! He'll be back for sure to do the rest of our home.

They were excellent and very reasonable. The guy who came went above and beyond with what he needed to do. He just took on a very daunting project. The fan that needed to be fixed was on the second floor. It's two flights up but there's a kitchen and stair wall. It depends on where you are and if it's two flights up it's about seven feet up. He decided to stand up on the stair wall to reach up and replace the fan which was very good. He showed up when he was supposed to.

Arrived on time. Service man was helpful and patiently answered my questions. Completed the job and everything is still working.

The technician provided professional, friendly, right-on-time service. Clean up afterwards was thorough, with exception of handprint left on one ceiling (very minor). The extra charge for wiring the rooms was exactly as advertised and very reasonable. I would definitely recommend to others for service.

They didn’t do any ceiling work for us. We’ve never used them before. They were great. One of the guys gave my husband a quote over the telephone and it actually ended up being less than what they quoted. They were on time. One guy did the work and it was two days worth of work and at the end of it when he left, there was a minor problem. I couldn’t turn some of the lights out. He gave me his cell phone number so that if anything goes wrong, I could call him. So I called him and he came back the next morning and fixed it. He was just great. He did everything the right way. We will use his services again in the future.

Initial contact was a little slow, due to the very large response CET had to the Angie's List discount coupon offer. ($75 for installation of a ceiling fan was a bargain and not their usual price - there was a Groupon-like offer that was activated if enough people bought it.) I emailed them and hadn't heard back in about 6 days, so I emailed again, and then got an immediate response saying they'd call on Monday to set up an appointment. Scheduling went fine, though due to the high numbers that bought this coupon, they didn't have an appointment for a few weeks (installation was 5 weeks after my initial contact - again, not the norm for them). All of our interactions were professional and courteous. Gary showed up right on time, installed the fan quickly (about 20 minutes, I think), connecting the light as well, leaving no mess behind, and asking if I wanted the remote holder installed on the wall. Everything works perfectly and we are very happy with CET's service. We would use them again for other electrical services.

The electrician arrived at the appointment time. He was friendly and professional. Since there was no ceiling fan, only a light, I assumed I would pay an additional $75.00 (total of $150. for a fan hook up, but the electrician was very honest and told me there was a fan hook up, it was just mounted on the joist out of view. He installed the fan and left the area clean. We bought the ceiling fan/light for over a year and we couldn't figure out how to install it. I was pleased at how fast, easy, and affordable the job was done.

I filled up the form online. I was contacted a few days later with a quote of $150 and accepted the quote. I was told to fill up another form online with a credit card number to secure the appointment. Tech came on time and offered as an alternative to run a dedicated circuit for about $350 (maye cheaper depending on time). Considering microwave was like $220 I went with first quote and just to connect to existing kitchen circuit. Tech did the job and charged less than quoted. $125 for 1.5 hours of work. That's honest and I was pleased with the job. I most likely will use them again if I have another electricity job that needs to be done.

Great! Rob is a SUPER nice guy! He was always on time, and would even call beforehand to let us know that he would be on his way and here in 15-20 minutes. That kind of stuff foes a long way with me. Again, Rob was professional, knowledgeable, extremely courteous, and cleaned up after himself. I would reccommend this company to anyone who asks.

I purchased an Angie's List deal for ceiling fan installation. The deal only covered installations/replacements of where wiring already existed, however you could get an new installation for an additional fee of $125. Once I purchased the deal CET contacted me immediately to schedule an appointment. Due to an overwhelming response to the deal they were scheduling appointments 3 weeks out which was fine because I still hadn't purchased the fan yet. The technician arrived on time, assessed the job, covered the furniture where he was working and got to work. The installation took about 1-1/2 hours. Overall I was very pleased with the work that was done. I plan on contacting them again for some other work I need done

My experience with C.E.T. was fantastic from start to finish. Everyone I spoke with was very professional and the gentleman who came out to do the work was courteous, on time and did great work. When I need electrical work done in the future, I will use this company again!

They did a great job. I like how careful they were about making sure that our expectations windup. They really spent time with me on the phone before. They found out exactly what they were needed to do. Their price also matched with my expectation. They were on time and did the work really well. If there is a need, I would definitely use them again in the future too.

Great. I can't remember the name of the service man who installed the fan but he was very professional, knowledgeable, quick. Very courteous and neat, made sure to cover the furniture underneath the spot of installation. He advised us that our attic fan was broken (we knew this) and we will have Certified Electricians do this job next month.

Would I use this company again? Absolutely. In fact, I have a second appointment scheduled already. A+ all around.

I felt it was a rip-off. I felt it was an outrageous amount to spend for an upgraded box. I don't know who to blame but I was angry. I’ll probably never buy another one of these Big Deals from Angie's List. I will also never deal with that company again.
