Danny called ahead of arriving for each visit. He was professional yet friendly. The entire work site was cleaned up before he left and all work was reviewed before he left.

CET was great to work with. I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago, and they not only sent me an e-mail confirmation, but also sent something in the mail. The technician called a half hour before arriving, and showed up well within the 4-hour time frame I was given. He was very personable and explained to me what he was doing and why he was doing it. He was done fixing both issues within about 45 minutes. I would definitely hire them again!

When his troubleshooting with the ceiling fan revealed that the problem could be fixed multiple ways, he gave me all the information I needed in order to make a wise choice. The ceiling light kit I had previously purchased included a broken bulb, he asked me how I wanted to handle that before proceeding. The motor for the bathroom fan was replaced by him very quickly without problems or delays. All three items are functioning reliably today. The electrician was very friendly, had all the required electrical skills and supplies at hand, worked effectively and efficiently and had a great sense of humor. I will definitely call CET the next time I need electrical work.

It seemed when he came the first time he spent alot of time doing things he did not need to and that he wasted alot of time and then he had to leave and come back on saturday and charged us another service call. That seemed a little unprofessional.

When the Fire Marshall came to inspect the work, he told me that this was quality work in which he could tell that the technican, David, takes pride in his work. On top of them doing a fantastic job and passing inspection the first time around, they also came in $300 cheaper than the original estimate. I will definitely use them again.

Excellent - thorough, professional, and reasonable price

They were nothing short of amazing!!!! Arrived exactly on time, came up with a quick solution that saved us money. They could have made this project much bigger -- and more expensive -- but instead streamlined it so they were in and out, and, even better, under budget. I can't say enough great things about this company!!!

Rob came on time. He actually called when he was 10 minutes away. He brought all needed equipment, ladders, etc. He needed to replace one of the switches. The work was done within one hour, with no problems, everything was clean and the ceiling did not have any finger prints . The price was so so reasonable. I will definitely use them again for all my home's electrical needs.

We live in an old house in Arlington and the electric panel was fairly old (maybe 20 years or so). We had significant corrosion in the box and really needed a replacement ASAP. (I should have realized the state that the box was in but just had not done so until our AC compressor tripped the fuse.) I contacted CET and a tech came out just a few days later. He checked the panel and confirmed that we needed to replace it. He offered to do the full 10 point check -- at no cost (as was the estimate). We decided, however, to proceed with scheduling the replacement panel. He and his supervisor worked with me to find a day in the near future that worked for me. He arrived on the day of service on time and began the work. He confirmed with me the type of surge protector that we wanted. He replaced the box, tested, etc. I appreciated that he spent some time answering my many questions. They also honored my Angie's list discount coupon. Very pleased and will have them return to do some other more minor work in the near future.

Dave was right on time with a call to us, as promised, 1/2 hour before arriving. We had ceiling fans installed in 3 rooms (dining,living, & family). In the dining room, the fan was replacing a light fixture, but in the other two, it was a new fixture. Dave was very neat, worked continuously without a break, and was very meticulous in his work. Five hours later there were 3 well secured ceiling fans, working beautifully. He gave us the 10% discount because of Angie's list and was on his way. I would definitely call them if I need any further electrical work done

Contacted CET through Angies List and received both an email and phone call from Gary to set up an appt. Dustin came out within the timeframe and performed the work. He was extremely knowledgable and helpful. Yes I would use the again without reservations. Yes I would definitely recommend them for any electrical work. Only thing is I forgot to ask for my Angies discount .. maybe next time.

Office staff were very responsive in returning my call and scheduling the appointment. They were very flexible and allowed me to schedule the appointment after the deadline to use the Big Deal coupon. The electrician who came (can't remember his name but he was in truck 707) gave me a call 30 minutes prior to arrival as I had requested and he showed up when he was supposed to. The installation took longer than he expected because of the difficulty in accessing the area from the attic. The electrician did an excellent job and I paid additional costs exactly as indicated in the Big Deal fine print. There were no unpleasant surprises! The fans work very well, don't wobble at all and we're enjoying them very much.

I have a very old circuit board in my house and they recommended replacing it to get it up to code. There wasn’t any pressure to replace it at all. I decided to take their recommendation and replace it. It was a very labor intensive job and when they took off they found that is was beginning to burn out. They did a wonderful job.

Danny was very nice and on time for his appointment. He did a great job installing my outlets. The outlets were measured apart correctly. He cleaned up and worked quickly. It was wonderful!

The technician was knowledgeable, did quality work in a fast and efficient manner. He was very polite and personable. I'd use the company again.

I found Certified Electrical on Angies's list and called the company. I was please right from the start, the person that answer the phone was polite & professional. I stated what i needed and was set up for and appointment. The technician Dustin called to say he was on his way. He arrived @ my home on time was polite, friendly, professional and ready to work. I showed him to the kitchen & he took care of the rest. I asked question about the work he was doing and he was more than willing to answer them. I will be using this company again in the future & hope that Dustin is the Technician he is a good asset for the company. I wish most Service Technician had his work ethics.

Everything went great. Our service technician was friendly and professional. Our home was missing a brace for between the studs and they were able to add them to the installation at minimal cost. Highly recommend!

From the beginning, very responsive to my emails and providing me with a quote and answering my questions. Very, very pleased with the job and will keep them on my "favorites" list!

UPDATE: I've been having problems with the bathroom circuit since we had CET come and do the work (circuit trips frequently when I turn off the lights and fan.) We called to have them come back they said there was nothing they could do unless it was happening all the time. We recently called to have them do an estimate for more electrical work in the house and they said that the job was too small (or too big...can't recall) and they couldn't do it. We hired another electrician who found that CET had wired our bathroom light wrong. They were kind enough to fix it at a great discount because I was already spending $2500 with him and he said that the wiring that had been done was dangerous. I'm very disappointed with CET. I (thought) I had such a good experience with them when I used them. It was great. Ric was incredibly professional and told me everything he was doing - and why it needed to be done. He got here on time, he stayed within estimate, was very cautious about doing things - like limiting the number of holes in the wall and keeping the place clean. He even worked with me to develop a plan and budget to correct the rest of the really bad wiring that I have in my house! Due to his demeanor, explanations and willingness to address my questions and concerns, I feel that I can trust Ric and through extension the company CET. Not only will I use CET again, but I will ask specifically for Ric (although I'm sure all of their electricians are great...)

Installer arrived ontime, explained the work to be completed and proceeded to install our new ceiling fan. Great job! We will use again.

I called the morning of 8/1 to inquire about having an electrician come out to hook up an outlet for a dryer. I explained the work to the person that answered the phone (this was a company representative and not an answering service). He said someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I found another company to do the work.

The GFCI outlet in my bathroom wouldn't reset so I called Certified Electrical Technologies after researching companies on Angie's List. When I called, I asked if an electrician would be available to come out the next day. Initially told that it was doubtful, they were actually able to fit me into an early morning appointment before an all-day total electric panel upgrade for another customer. The tech called 30 minutes before the appointment and arrived on time. He was pleasant and efficient. After replacing the outlet, which probably took less than 10 minutes, he asked if there was any other work he could do since I was being charged for a full service call. I already knew what the service call charge would be and that my job was very minor but I appreciated the electrician asking. He actually looked around to see if he could identify any other work for himself as he said he almost felt guilty charging me the full service fee for 10 minutes! I would definitely use this company again and recommend them highly.
