"Accidents happen. If we make a mistake, we accept full responsibility and do whatever is necessary to rectify the situation. For 35 years we have made a committment to 100% customer satisfaction. When things go well, any company can look good. The true measure of a company is how they react when things do not go according to plan."

We appreciated CET's offer in that it allowed us to make a needed improvement in our home affordably. We can easily recommend their services, and will happily use them again.

"What the subscriber is omitting is that the electrical box that she wanted to have the ceiling fan installed on was not rated for ceiling fans and it had to be replaced. When we scheduled the appointment, we advised her that this was a possibility and that we would be prepared to change the box (at additional expense) and she agreed. Apparently she forgot about this issue when posting her review. We do our very best to let clients know what to expect when our tech shows up to perform a project. We cannot forsee every possibility, but with 35 years of experience we do a great job. We realize that clients don't like to spend anymore money than they have planned, but sometimes the circumstances (the construction) in their home requires additional work"
Our only other negative comment is related to about $125 in costs that was unanticipated due to part of the ceiling being plaster instead of drywall (despite not having any responsibility for patching or painting). While we agreed that the work they did was excellent, the professionalism in the follow-up afterwards was not. We had pre-paid the work (through an "Angie's big deal") plus an additional $200 on-site the day of installation. When we were not in a position to immediately pay the unanticipated $125 (which was not brought up by CET until the work was complete), instead of being willing to invoice us, CET called us daily for 5 days and physically sent staff to our house less than a week after completion of the work to collect the remaining $125 (when they had been paid $800 in October and $200 on the day of installation). We were fine with paying the additional unanticipated charge, but wanted more time to pay it and did not appreciate the harassment by CET employees when we were operating in good faith.
"Thanks for the great review. Prior to performing the work the husband agreed to the addtional expense, but indicated his wife would pay the charges. Having to collect for work is very uncomfortable for us, especially when the customer refuses to return calls or emails. Not communicating with us is no way to solve an issue. If we are made aware that there is a problem, we can be very accomodating"
