Alan was great as always. Courteous and professional, he was able to quickly repair the damaged wiring I uncovered when trying to replace the light fixture by myself, installed the new fixture, checked my work on another fixture, replaced a light switch with a dimmer switch, and replaced an additional hall light fixture. We have used CET for several years now and they remain our go to electricians.

Allen from Certified Electric came to work on an issue with light flickering in some areas of my house 2 years back and fixed it, but unfortunately the problem did not go away and kept happening every few months. This company and Allen not only responded to our calls but came to fix the issue every time free of charge. All together he came 6 times and finally fixed the problem. Sometime electrical works are tedious and hard to figure out the real cause of the problem at one time. But I am fortunate to use a company who did not ran away from the problem but came over and over again until they finally fix the problem. At one point seeing him work so hard, I offered to write a check for his company but he denied to accept any money because the work was related to original issue. I highly recommend this company for any electrical work. Thanks to Allen and his whole team for their great work ethics.

Replace a broken dimmer switch to a light switch (on/off). Simple job, there was no issues. In and out.

Steven provided fantastic customer service and expert knowledge to help find the source of a power outage. Very professional and personable, and he knew his stuff! I would hire this company again without hesitation.

Our renters reported a problem with the ceiling light in the walk-in closet, which they could not fix by resetting the circuit breaker or replacing the bulb. We called CET after seeing their high ratings on Angie's List. They immediately responded to our call and were able to schedule a service visit quickly and conveniently for the renters. When they checked out the light fixture, they discovered that there were additional problems with the related wall socket. They called me with an estimate, which I found reasonable, and they were able to fix everything on the spot, since they had all the parts they needed to repair and replace the defective items. In general, this was a very positive and convenient repair.

Eric was punctual, arrived when he said he would, surveyed the work that need to be done, discussed what my expectations were and then got to work.

The job was explained, alternatives discussed, choices made, and work was done in a professional manner. The cost came in at exactly the estimate. No surprises.

Run wiring and install new overhead lights in 2 rooms. The work that was performed was good. My only complaint was timing. I was scheduled for an 8 am arrival and he did not arrive until almost noon. The late arrival was blamed on weather and poor road conditions. While schools and the government were closed that day, there was no more than an inch of snow and all of my coworkers worked that day and reported no issues on the roads at all. The late arrival caused me to miss an entire day of work.

Very smooth! The electrician Steven did a great job. My doorbell repair required only a small repair but I would have never known where the connections were. He also worked on my new light fixture that need a new holding plate and some small amount of drywall modifications.

Technician (Jesse) and the office staff are efficient, economical and knowledgeable. Doesn't get any better than that! Highly recommend.

Very professional and identified the issue quickly

This was the fifth job that CET has done for me. Chuck arrived on time ,completed the job and answered some questions for me. Because of one of his answers, I will be hiring CET to replace my 2 cabinet puck lights with LED ones in the near future. The quality of his work was the same as the previous ones - outstanding.

Great, thorough work that verified that the home’s electrical components were in good repair. They didn’t try to make up things that needed repair in order to make money. I’d definitely use them again.

Excellent. Steven was prompt, courteous, and professional. Steven had me describe and show him the problem, gave me his initial assessment, found the problem and showed it to me, and then repaired the problem.

Technician was on time, professional, and very helpful. He even finished the work early so we had him replace some switches. We would definitely use this company again.

This is a horrible company - I really do not believe the reviews here - there is NO WAY this company received this many positive reviews. The company offered me an appointment between 10 am - 2 pm - I told the man who booked the appointment I would have to take an entire day of vacation and I did. He said they would call one hour before arrival. He also said he needed my credit card to book the appointment. in retrospect, I guess the company believes that their customers are as unreliable and as untrustworthy as they are - but I am not and most customers who book appointments do so because they need the service so I think they will be there, but this company won't come. On day of appointment when they had not arrived at 1:15, I called the company and spoke to a woman. She said they had no policy of calling an hour in advance. Electrician finally called a little after 3 pm to tell me he would be there in an hour or hour an half depending on traffic. I declined - I have no interest in doing business with companies that do not value their customers. I told the electrician I took a day off of work for this service. No apology - he was quite rude - he said I don't book my schedule, so it's not my fault. I actually am home this evening as I have an HVAC guy coming out and he couldn't make it til the evening - had this company just booked for the evening, I could have worked, got paid, paid them for their service - but no. funny that I'll be home anyway waiting for HVAC but I still don't want this company at my house. I work too hard to give this kind of company my money.

CET did an amazing job. Not only were they courteous, but Steven, our main tech of the several that arrived at our home, went above and beyond to make sure we were not only happy with the work that was being performed, but explained in great detail what was being performed and why. The estimate given to us was right around what we expected based on the age of our home (20+ years) and the issues we knew about due to the previous owners using "friends" to perform some work that was not done to code. The end price was within $12 of the quote and Steven gave us her personal number to call him if we found any other issues we thought should have been addressed. So far, all is well. Highly recommend CET.

Perfect! The installer worked very efficiently, and kept the mess under control. He laid down drop cloths over the entire area and packed them up neatly when he was done. Very pleased with the end result.
