Until I saw another review on this site that said the company was sold, I didn't understand why the service went downhill. They bill for days the grass wasn't cut, they can't do the most basic lawn care without causing damage. Horrible. On top of it, after I discontinued service, I found out I was paying more than stated on their website.

I asked them to come and do some mulching and they still haven't yet. I'm waiting for that to happen. I will tell a friend about them.

They have reasonable prices and they are reliable. We are happy with them.

Despite the problems I encountered with Blue Valley Landscaping in returning calls, I always liked the work they performed. My next door neighbor has continued to use them and they have done a wonderful job on his landscaping. I decided to try them again. In the past month, I have called them out twice ? the first time they did all the work on time and the second time was today. I called them around 9:30 and the gentleman is working on my yard now (1:00 PM). So I am back to being very satisfied with their work and can recommend them highly.

This company was formerly known as JUGAS and they are priced according to each individual service. As with most lawn care services, you can negotiate the price and the terms. There was no contract and this appears preferable in instances where you wish to retain effective control over the quality and reliability of the service. The chief complaint with this company involves communication. Phoning typically results in an answering machine greeting, and messages are not promptly returned. Same result with email messages. Bottom line is that the lowest price is not the best deal. When a company says that they are licensed and insured, it is important to verify that information with the county. Again, verify it.
