999Roman was very pleasant and professional. He explained everything about what he was doing as well as how to maintain the door in prime operating condition. Roman also suggested some maintenance considerations for the future. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and expertise. I will definitely use Beltway Garage Doors if I ever have a problem.

Nothing to tell, I decided to use a company that I had used before. Conversation with the sales rep/manager was cordial and he tried hard to make sure that I was satisfied with the service; he offered to come out immediately to perform the service but by that time I had decided to cancel the service/appointment and go with a different company. I don't think the company did anything wrong and seemed very customer oriented. I just changed my mind about what company I wanted to do the job.

They told me that they can fix the bend top door panel and replace the broken door spring for $480. But the fix broken in less than 4 months. I can see one side cable is very loose and other side cable is tight. We called on Thursday, someone told me that they will come on Thursday between 5-7PM. But never showed up. We called again, someone said Friday 5:30 PM will come. But never showed. We called again Friday night and someone said Saturday morning at 9AM they will definitely come. But I have to call again on Saturday 10AM and they finally send someone at 12 PM. The engineer denied any wrong installation and refuse adjust cable to make even. He just tight spring more and charge us $65 for "service charge" because warranty is only 30 days. Because such sloppy job, now I feel I need to pay such "service charge" every few months as long as I own this door. Please STAY AWAY from this company.

Scheduled work to be done on 10/12/13. I was told the tech. would contact me at 9AM. At 10AM still no phone call so I called the office and was told he should have called me. The office informed they would contact the tech., and call me right back. When I heard nothing in a half hour, I called back and was told he sent a text to the tech., but he should be there by 12PM. I explained I wasn't informed it would take 3 hours from the call for someone to arrive. Since I had cleared my schedule for that morning I cancelled the service, but was offered no further explanation from the office. Furthermore, the response during the office call was very unprofessional, and due to that, and their lack of responsiveness, I will not contact them for service again.

I called them and they gave me a price of $395.00 to replace the one panel which they said included installation. I gave them the go ahead and they set up the appointment for Friday with Chris who was very knowledgeable and informative. He then gave me a price of $525.00 for the job, so I called the office to find out why the change. They informed me that the $395.00 was for a non-insulated door and my door panel was insulated. This was bull since I sent them the stock numbers as well as pictures. Since I was dealing with an insurance company for payment I said go ahead and get it over with so do the job. Chris showed up with the wrong panel and was sorry but the office staff ordered the panel and got it wrong. I had have enough with this company so I had the work done by an online company who got the correct panel from the same information I sent Beltway.

The technician arrived as promised and installed both garage doors in approximately five hours. I was a very professional installation wnd my wife and I are pleased with job and the technician. We have used this company in the past to replace broken springs so the fact that they did an excellent job was not a surprise to us.

I called them. They said they were coming out, but they never showed up. This happened two to three times. I kept waiting for them all the day, but they didn’t show up. Then, finally they did send somebody out here. He gave me a crazy estimate on stuff that I really didn’t need to get done, so I didn’t use them. He said that I had to replace the door.

I called and was given a quote. An appointment was made for the following day. The installer called the morning of to confirm. He showed up on time and was completed in 30-45 minutes.

Called and received service on the same day; a technician was in the area. The service call would have been $65 but thanks to the coupon on Angie's list, I only paid $28.00. It turns out the problem was warranty related and the problem was resolved very quickly. The technician was very professional and friendly. He also pointed out issues that our garage door opener company (a different company before we were aware of Beltway) should fix. It turns out he was right and the garage door opener technician made the adjustment. All in all, our garage door is functioning well.

They were nearly four hours late when they were supposed to be there to replace our garage door. I had to leave while they were installing the door and when I got home my garage door opener was not set to the right codes. I called them again and the owner came out that night and fixed the problem for us.

MY RIGHT GARAGE DOOR BEGAN TO SHIMMER AND TO STICK. I CALLED BELTWAY GARAGE DOORS BECAUSE I HAD USED THEM BEFORE. THE REPAIRMAN ARRIVED WITHIN THREE HOURS. HE TOLD ME THAT THE DOOR NEEDED NEW ROLLERS AND PULLEYS. I TOLD HIM TO PERFORM THE SAME REPAIR ON MY LEFT DOOR - I DIDN' T WANT THE SAME PROBLEM TO OCCUR IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE REPAIRMAN FINISHED BOTH DOORS IN ABOUT AN HOUR. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND GAVE ME A 5% DISCOUNT. THE FINAL BILL WAS $730.00. BGD IS A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT MY EXPERIENCE WITH THEM INDICATES THAT THEY DO QUALITY WORK.

The work went fine and they did a good job. I didn?t have a lot of choices. If I had more time, then I would have got more bids. It was something that I had to do since the garage door was stuck open. They were the first ones. They did a satisfactory job. They came in, saw what was wrong, fixed it and got it done. There was nothing fantastic. They were a little pricey. If their price is low, then I might consider using their services again.

They were punctual and professional. They did the job on time. We will use them in the future.

I waited all day for them to arrive on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. I was repeatedly assured that they were on the way, yet they never arrived on the first two days. They did arrive at 5:30pm on the third day. The offfice and scheduling staff was extremely unprofessional in scheduling and customer interaction. When the technicians did arrive, they solved the problem in an efficient and professional manner. I would not use this firm again because of their signicicant scheduling and customer interaction problems.

We recently bought a house with a detached garage that we didn't pay much attention to before closing. After the big day, I finally go into the garage to discover that not only was the door off the track (which we knew) but one of the springs was completely broken and mangled and one of the rails was detached from the wall. I looked up Beltway Garage Doors on Angie's List on Saturday afternoon. To my surprise, they had a tech who might be able to come that very day to check out the door. Unfortunately, he got stuck at an earlier job and couldn't make it before the end of the day. We rescheduled for the next week. On Monday morning the tech calls and asks if we could meet to look at the door. Of course I was at work so I couldn't get there. Then he asks if there was a way for him to get in the garage to see the door. Fortunately, there is a back door to the garage and he was able to access it and call me back with an estimate. I thought the price was a bit high, but we are renovating an entire house and I didn't have time to haggle one more deal so I gave the tech, Brett, the okay to do the job. I also asked that he install a garage door opener that I had bought from Sears, but they do not install other company's products due to "warranty issues". Luckily for me, his truck was stocked with a 1/2 HP Liftmaster opener that his company sells and he hooked that up for me. When I got home I went straight to the garage to check out the repaired door...it looked, sounded and operated great. I couldn't believe that old door could work so smoothly. I guess it was money well spent after all. I never did meet Brett, but I was glad he was able to fix our door.

One of two garage door springs broke the afternoon before Halloween, a Saturday. I called around to several companies, but I didn't get much hope at scheduling an appointment, and had resigned myself to waiting until Monday for service. I was happy to get a call back from Beltway, who said they had a truck in the area, and could service me. I asked for a price to replace a spring, and service, and was quoted $95 for the spring, and $65 for the service call (including labor to replace the spring). My expectation therefore was a less than $200 job, including tax. On the plus side - the two-man crew worked quickly and efficiently, and got my garage back in shape. One panel's hinges was misaligned (after their job, not before), but they came out within a day or so and fixed it perfectly. The crew was a pleasure to deal with. On the down side - I knew $95 for a spring was expensive, but I didn't realize, nor was I told that 1) I would need 2 springs (makes sense to have a new one on each side of the door) and 2) How overpriced the springs, and the other parts, really were. The same rated springs at Home Depot are ~$30 - for TWO SPRINGS. I needed a new eye bolt to hold the spring, and was charged FIVE DOLLARS - this is a $0.75 item at home depot. The pulley was $37.50 - a $10-15 dollar item (wasn't quoted, but found to be a problem upon inspection). The company doesn't allow use of homeowner parts (makes sense for liability issues) - believe me, I asked when I heard the $95 price for the spring, I was more than willing to make a trip to Home Depot. I feel like any company has the right to mark up parts as part of their business model, but this is an extreme markup, alot of money, and I felt taken advantage of as a result. I would warn Angie's List members away from Beltway Garage as a result of this experience.

The work was done as specified and when he said it would be done. The best thing was that he was able to do the work without my being there -- everything was arranged by phone. The price seems to be remarkably high, though. I would shop around more carefully before using them again.

Called after I could not open my garage door Wed. afternoon. The company helped me open the door over the phone so I could get my car out. They were very helpful they stayed on the phone the entire time. They set an appointment for the next morning. Brent the tech called the next morning to confirm the appointment. He arrived within the range of time and went right to work replaced both springs. He stayed within the price quoted over the phone and everything works fine, plus, he also lubed and adjusted the tracks which never worked better.

On a Monday or Tuesday, I requested an estimate for a garage door installation in a NW Washington, DC home. The dispatcher said no problem and they would call me at 10:00 a.m. on the following Saturday. I received no call. I called the company towards 11:30 a.m. and the dispatcher informed me that they knew about my request but something had come up, and they would call me back in 10 minutes. Never got that call. Had they called me at 10:00 or shortly thereafter to apologize and say something had come up, that would have been better. Instead, I lost a morning waiting for nothing. I'll go with another company since I lost trust.

Came quickly and on time. Worked quickly! Job done in about 1 hour.

They are very responsive and they do a good job. They are available in emergency situations and come in no time at all. Their prices are reasonable and the workers are always knowledgeable. They are great.

On day one, they promised to arrive by 3:00pm. They never showed, never called. Day two they promised to arrive by 5:00pm. They never showed, never called. On day three, they promised to arrive by 2:00pm. They never showed, never called. They never apologized during any of the calls.

We called them after a garage door spring snapped. The "new" springs were overpriced, dirty, and rusty--hardly new. The workman also tried to sell us safety cables and new pulleys--we declined the former but agreed to the latter (again, grossly overpriced). Careful examination of the old pulleys shows no reason to have done so, and I note another report also mentions this "add-on. Given the sorry state of the new springs, we have called repeatedly for 4 days, with no response. Finally, we stopped payment on the check. Note that BBB lists them as UNSATISFACTORY, with 32 unanswered complaints. Stay away!

Great experience. They were able to come out the same day we called (we phoned 3 others, but they couldn't come by for a week), and I didn't even have to be home! All the transactions were done by phone -- this was terrific. The price for labor was lower than the other places we had called, and the prices for parts looked quite reasonable. They were courteous, prompt, and didn't apply any pressure tactics. The door works great, and is much quieter than before it broke. I would highly recommend them.

I had Beltway Doors come out to give me an estimate. They sent a technician to my house to take measurements. He was great. When I called back several days later to check on the estimate I get this poor excuse for a receptionist who stated that her name was Janet. This woman had the worst telephone manners ever imagined and because of the way she handled my call I am considering not doing business with Beltway Doors.
