Bargain Movers

We moved from suburban Maryland to North Carolina. Although the estimate was the lowest, it was not the only reason we picked Bargain Movers. We felt Luis, the owner, was very professional. Our subsequent interactions with him and Martina, the office manager, were also very professional.....answered our questions, got back to us quickly, etc. The crew who moved us was great as well....on time and went the extra mile. I highly recommend this company and would use them again in a heartbeat.

Luis showed up on time and gave me an estimate and walked me through what to expect. The workers showed up on time, were professional, took exceptional care of our things, and stayed around to make sure all the furniture was placed exactly where I wanted it. I was extremely pleased and would recommend them whole heartedly!

Group that I worked with was AMAZING. Super fast, super efficient, and most importantly - everything made it from Point A to Point B in one piece. They were careful and safe with the furniture and big ticket items. They also have great communication leading up to the move. Highly recommended.

This was a great move experience. I had a small move that had to be done quickly, and they accommodated my time frame -- they came in 2 days! The men who came were friendly, professional, and VERY EFFICIENT. The price was right and everything was handled very carefully. I would definitely call Bargain Movers again.

They worked incredibly quickly yet were extremely careful both with the furniture as well as the new refinished floors. Price was much better than most-- particularly since they were so fast. The team of three movers was excellent. They were very professional, organized, worked efficiently together as a team, and hard workers with lots of moving experience. They were courteous but relaxed enough to joke around with us too. They arrived right on time and got right to work. I highly recommend this company.

Workers were timely and efficient. The were very responsive. Did break a safe, chipped the legs on a few pieces of furniture and put some scratches on a new hardwood floor. Glad we didn't have them move anything fragile. Damage insurance is a joke with $250 deductible.

They did an excellent job. Luis came to our house about a week before the move to provide an estimate, and he offered some good recommendations for minimizing costs and preparing for the move. He was very knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. The same was true for the crew that arranged the move itself. They were very responsive and efficient, and they really went above and beyond with their services (even as they stayed well within budget).

It went great. They arrived on time. They were professional and friendly people who came to work. They drove directly to VA and unloaded my belongings as quickly and safely as they loaded them. The move cost was on point with the estimate I received with I reached out.

They arrived before they said they would, got to work quickly and efficiently, quickly and carefully packed my furniture, moved it and unpacked in my new house. 5 hours of work to move the furniture from a 4 bedroom house into a 4 bedroom house. Rebuild beds and table. Very happy with their work. Would use them again.

They were awesome!!!! so professional and took such good care of all the big and little items - not a single thing was damaged and everything arrived safe and sound.

From start to finish, Luis and his team made a stressful situation less so. First impressions are important, and Luis arriving with gifts of moving boxes, sharpie and tape were an extra step that was appreciated. He mentioned places to get cheap boxes, including Craig's List and Home Depot. He explained that the price of the move is basically an hourly rate and his rates are right in the middle, not the highest or the lowest. We met the crew at the storage unit we had rented to declutter and then home to the main event. The team of four started in right away, but within the first hour, one of the team experienced an injury. Luis came himself with a replacement and took the injured young man to get medical attention. The team continued to work very hard, and we went to the new house. We provided lunch and the team invited us to dine with them. They would not come inside but we made a picnic table out of the workbench in the garage. They cheerfully rearranged placement of furniture and in fact, reassembled a piece that had been assembled incorrectly in our move from overseas 16 years ago. We were very pleased with the whole process. Martina was great with following up with appointment time. Luis tried to track down a missing lamp, that was found in the drawer of a nightstand. If you define bargain as a good value for your money, then Bargain Movers is aptly named.

We used Bargain Movers twice within the 2016/2017 time frame. Their service was EXCELLENT! They are professionals all the way. Administratively, they made sure they understood our needs and requirements and worked with us to resolve any issues. They contacted us prior to moving day to ensure everything remained as planned or whether there were any changes. The moving guys were very professional and courteous as well. They were punctual. After talking with us to pinpoint exactly what was to be moved, they wrapped the furniture securely. At the new location, they ensured everything was placed in its new location. All of this was done expeditiously. To top it off, their prices were extremely reasonable. I highly recommend Bargain Movers for your next move.

This was my third time using Bargain Movers, I think Luis recognizes my voice by now. Each move was handled in the most professional way, with the most helpfulness and great attitudes, None of my moves have been easy jobs, from a four bedroom home to apartments. My last move was from an elevator bldg. In MD, to a second story walk up in NC. They were on time, patient, always pleasant and never tired, okay maybe a little. It was absolutely amazing watching them carry heavy pieces of furniture and boxes, all securely wrapped, mostly on their backs up the stairs.

They were GREAT. All of the sort of standard things you would expect - good communications, timely arrival, care of the property in packing, care of the property in delivery, care of both homes with mats on the floors etc. - was superb. And I was working with the same people from start to finish - same administrator in their offices, same courteous manager and almost the exact same crew. They were roughly 20% less expensive than a couple of national companies I had gotten bids from. And with the national companies I didn't speak to the same person twice (I couldn't even get the same person twice!). I would use this company again and would recommend them to anyone including my closest friends and family. They are a company that truly gives the customer the professional service they hope for.

Everything went great! It took about 3hrs including travel start to finish, we could have never completed moving everything ourselves. Price was excellent!!

We had used Bargain Movers when moving from an apartment in Arlington into a house several years ago. They did a great job then, so we decided to use them again this year to move to our next house. I was contacted very soon after requesting a free quote and Steve came out and walked through the house and shed contents with me to give an estimate of services. He even brought some free boxes and packing supplies. I received an estimate within a couple of days (could have been same day, I don't remember), including an Angies list discount. The office staff (Martina) were very receptive and quick to respond to any questions throughout the process. Day of the move, the team of 4 men arrived on time, did a quick walk through with me for instructions, and got right to work. We had most items packed, but left large furniture to be wrapped. They were very efficient, but very careful and friendly too. Once we got to the new house they worked with the same speed and precision and were very receptive to my directions on where to put certain items. The team was fantastic to work with and even finished a couple hours early (my husband and I did help with some unloading). The final price was exactly in line with the quote and all items arrived safely. We had a great experience and would/do recommend Bargain Movers in the future.
