Description of Work: They communicated well in keeping me abreast of when they'd arrive. They went over the contract prior to starting work on their arrival. Then they immediately went to work wrapping items. They listened to my instructions and complied well, keeping communication open. They exhibited great knowledge and skills in wrapping and moving the pieces well from the house to the truck. They even moved things around in the storage to maximize the space and thoroughly wrapped each item to prevent damage. Overall they worked well and efficiently.

Description of Work: The 3 man crew came to my home on time and they were extremely professional. Although my move was next door, we still had to move some items to storage and it involved heavy lifting. They were fantastic and so personable. Description of Work: They moved some furniture from Bethesda to Frederick. |They disassembled the queen bed and then put it back together again. The two men were very professional and polite. This is the second time I have used this company.

Description of Work: They worked hard, cooperatively and were friendly. They were a good team with each mover having a specialty. They successfully moved a very delicate antique China closet. We had color coded boxes by room to be placed. They followed instructions. |The two issues we had were that there were two broken China platers. Also there were at least two missing boxes. One had a bread maker and the other had maple syrup. Nevertheless we would consider using them. We will be more careful packing and assure that every box gets on the truck. Note they did a better job moving the China closet than the "professional" antique movers we had previously used.

Description of Work: I moved literally around the corner. The price exceeded a cross town relocation. Insisted on costly, elaborate wrapping and packaging that far exceeded what was appropriate for such a short trip. Movers were courteous and professional. Outside of price, would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Luis and his crew were excellent- they were early, were very helpful and responsive to requests. Luis added 2 more men at no extra cost as a result of there being a delay because of a piece of furniture that needed to be disassembled. During the move in, they were very adaptable, even when I changed my mind about furniture placement.

Description of Work: The estimate for moving services included an extra hour charge for transit from Gaithersburg, MD to Fairfax, VA. The estimate for moving a piano was also twice the value quoted by others. After all the extra charges, the deal was not cost-effective after all.

Description of Work: I was searching Angie's List for movers. I saw a promotion for Bargain Movers (2 men, 3 hours work time plus 1 hour travel time, $299) I jumped on this opportunity because of the price and the positive reviews. I then read the fine print and realized my location was not covered by this service provider. The service provider contacted me by phone, but it became phone tag. I decided for to decline all together because of the location issue. I contacted Angie's List requesting a refund, and was promptly sent instructions and this form to receive my refund for services unable to be used.
