It went really really well. I have moved a lot and this was my best experience. The crew arrived at 8.45 a.m. and immediately started working but they started the clock at 9.00 a.m. which was really nice of them. They were super efficient and fast. We had packed all the boxes so it moved even faster but they did not waste a single minute. I was really impressed. They had to pick up a matter at a public storage next to my apartment and drive for approximately 50 minutes, but still they finished the whole move in 4.5 hours. The best part was that after they were done they came back and asked me if I wanted to change the placements of any of the heavier items and needed any help. As it turned out we needed some help in the living room. They helped me change the placements of my couch, entertainment center, the rug including the rubber mat. They had stopped the clock before doing these final adjustments and did not charge me anything for that. Most importantly, all my furniture arrived without any damage. I will gladly recommend these guys to anyone.

I was very impressed. Mark, James and Phil arrived punctually in the morning at 8.30 am and got right to work. It was pouring rain and warm - not ideal for moving house - but this did not slow them down at all. Once the truck was loaded we went to my new home and again, they got right to work unloading and before I knew it, the van was unloaded and my furniture was in place. Each man was friendly, courteous and professional. I will probably be moving again in a couple of years and I will definitely call Bargain Movers again. Hopefully, Mark, James and Phil will still be working there.

They turned up right on time and started working immediately - they worked tirelessly walking up and down 5 x flights of stairs and loading into the truck - then unloading at the other end in torrential rain and thunderstorms and all of it done cheerfully and not one thing dinged, banged or broken !!

The crew arrived on time, and were organized and professional. They worked together as a real team. Everything was wrapped up in what I think of as industrial cling wrap. They made sure all the boxes were secure, and re-taped and wrapped anything they thought might be at risk of splitting or coming loose. When we got to my new place, they put down runners to protect the carpet, and when they found that the couch wouldn't fit through the front door, they carried it around the building and brought it in through the patio door. They kicked their shoes off while coming in, so they wouldn't track in any dirt. One guy did this while stepping backwards--quite a trick! They were kind, polite, and came in under the estimates of both time and budget. The friend I had helping me out said she'd use them if she ever got around to moving, and I will happily recommend them to all my friends.

This is a small family run company. The owner met with me for the estimate and brought me a few boxes plus tape and a marker. I was impressed that he said one of the boxes was for donations of canned food we might wish to donate to the food pantry instead of taking with us. On moving day the crew arrived early but didn't start charging us until the designated start time. The guys were friendly, fast and efficient. The move was completed in 6 hours. The estimate was for 6 to 7 hours. All our belongings arrived with no damage or breakage. We were very pleased with the service we received.

Bargain Movers were timely, efficient, neat, honest and friendly. They arrived on time, went straight to work, and completed the move sooner than the estimated time. The cost of the move came in a little less than the estimate, thus no surprises. Nothing was broken or damaged. Will use them again.

I was looking for a mover to move some furniture from a friend's apartment who was leaving town to my house and another home. Most movers wanted a minimum of 4 hours excluding packing labor and supplies. The price per hour is about the the normal charge of $125 per hour. Bargain Movers' minimum was 3 hours work and 1 hour travel, a total of 4 hours minimum at $125 per hour but with my Angie's list discount of 5%, my charge was $475 for 4 hours total. Anything over the 4 hours is calculated at 15 minutes intervals. The morning of the move, the driver called me that he was at the loading dock of the apartment. They were early and I was glad except it was my friend's apartment and they were out of town so I told them I would get there as soon as possible. The three men came, disassembled the king size bed, wrapped each pieces carefully including the screws. Then they carefully wrapped a 42" round glass dining tabletop and the wooden pedestal. The lamps and TV they helped put in our car since we did not pay for a TV box to put the flat screen in for the move. The tall bookcase and books were to go to my house and all the rest of the furniture goes to the other home. When they arrived at the last stop, they brought in all the furniture, assembled the bed and put the glass table top on top of the wooden pedestal in the kitchen. Everything arrived safely and the crew were very professional, respectful, courteous and accommodating. We did the entire move in 3.5 hours which is not bad having to make 2 stops and with the traffic. So we ended up paying the additional 15 minutes but I also got a 5% discount for the extra 15 minutes too. Martina in the office was excellent. She email the contract, processed the deposit, made the arrangements for the movers, and called me the day before the move to remind me and to confirm the move. Since Bargain Movers have been to the apartment building helping other tenants moving in and out, they were very familiar with the building policy and the location of the loading dock which was helpful. I would definitely recommend them and consider using them again. As a matter of fact, there were still other furniture in the apartment that needs to be moved so I am also recommending to the recipient of the furniture to use Bargain Movers also.

Movers were to show up at 9:00 am. Showed up at exactly 9:00 am. Checked our packing and repacked A few pieces. It was raining when they arrived in frederick Md- they put a tarp down on my carpeting and removed shoes when entering. one mover emptied the truck while the other brought the furniture and boxes. the two me n finished the move within 3 hours

VERY impressed. The foreman Jose turned up on time with two additional crew. They got right to work, even laying down a long mat as a run way to protect our floors. These guys worked fast, but carefully bubble wrapped or shrink wrapped stuff as they packed. They moved quickly and professionally. Took few brakes and made good use of their time and my money! It was all two weeks ago and I have yet to discover any breakage. I WOULD use them again.

Moved from a 4th floor apartment to a townhouse. The movers worked extremely quickly even though their were 4 floors of stairs. It was pretty amazing how hard and fast they worked considering the stairs. They were very polite, professional, and took directions from us without any complaints. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to friends.

Contacted company due in large part to the other reviews I read on Angies List. Met with WIlliam and got an estimate on the cost of moving from Rockville to Mt Airy. The crew showed up (3 movers and a supr) and within a very short time had all the furniture wrapped and boxes loaded onto the truck and on the way. Once at our new home, everything was placed in the rooms it needed to go and all the furniture was unwrapped. Probably the hardest part of the whole job was trying to get a very large upright freezer (20cu.ft. and measuring 70x32) in to the basement. The two guys who did that were AMAZING!! It was a very tight fit but they took one look and said "no problem" We really thought we would have to come up with another place for it, but they got it done!! The ease with which they worked with one another to get everything done so quickly shows that they really know their business. They were very very courteous and professional. I would most definitely recommend them to anyone and would absolutely use them again.A+++

They are amazing and organized company. Since the first communication with the owner (Luis) and his Secretary Martina who called me the day before of the moving. This is a family company and they treat you as part of their family. Not only was the price guaranteed but so was the time for delivery! They The moving team arrived on time and they were very responsible! They did a great job, didn't damage a thing, and worked hard the entire time they were there. They are courteous, kiligent, and careful with your belongings. They worked hard for 3 hours without a break and got my move done within the time they promised. Wonderful. They were prompt, courteous, fast but careful. They we so nice and so quick I was really delighted. I cannot say enough nice things about them. I would certainly use them again and highly recommend them. A+++ all around.

I used them twice for the same move. Crew 1 was amazing. The second crew was last minute and didn't have the same level of excellence. I found the company to be responsive and even took my calls in the evening on the weekend. Thumbs up!

We had two different crews and both were excellent- very professional, efficient, and good sense of humor. My crew was a little late in the morning due to traffic, but they didn't start the clock until they arrived.

I purchased the deal that they had going for 3 hours worth of moving services with 2 movers. They arrived before the expected time and were very quick with taking everything out of the apartment and down two flights of stairs. Once we arrived in Frederick they were quick to unload the truck into the house and placed all of the boxes where they needed to go. I would definitely use their services again.

Terrific. The men arrived 30 minutes early. They went right to work to wrap the furniture that needed wrapping. They did the entire move in 2 1/2 hours, including travel time from Silver Spring to Rockville. Nothing damaged.

I enjoyed dealing with the owner of the business for scheduling and contracting. He was very responsive and professional, and I'm giving better scores for their service he provided. Overall, the movers themselves came across less professional than the owner which is why I gave them a "C" grade on that item. The movers initially worked hard but definitely slowed down on the second half of the move. It was an unusually warm day for March, and one of them complained more than once about there being only two of them with all the stairs at both my homes. (They took more than an hour break in between pick up and drop off, so they did get a rest.) While their feelings about heat and stairs are understandable, it doesn't look good to say things like that in front of the customer. They also insisted they could reassemble my wooden bed frame, which has multiple pieces, when I couldn't find the instructions - I was willing for them to skip it. As it turned out, they took 45 minutes to put the frame together and later after they left, we discovered they did it wrong and we had to reassemble it anyway.

I have used Bargan Movers for three big moves and they've done a great job each time. The staff is professional and focused on getting the job done! I recommend them very highly.

The movers arrived at the scheduled time and moved fairly quickly. We own a lot of stuff, but they were able to move everything in, start to finish, in 7 hours. Their rates are very reasonable compared to other moving companies. Would hire again.

We planned a move going from a 2 BR apt to a condo. Luis (who I believe is the owner) provided a fair estimate. He thought it would be on the high side, and he was correct - the actual bill was a bit less. Compared to other movers in the area, they had by far the best price - similar estimates for our situation based on other Angie's List reviews would have cost us an additional $400-$500 easily. The movers arrived on time and worked extremely hard. The apartment was on the fourth floor and the condo had several floors as well - the movers didn't stop once. They even got a couch lifted up to a third story balcony so that it could be brought in through sliding glass doors instead of through a narrow stairwell. It didn't require much notice to get a move booked (I think we scheduled about 2 weeks out). We received a confirmation call the night before the move to make sure everything was still on schedule. The move took about 4 hours total. I would definitely recommend Bargain Movers for anyone looking to move locally.
