Description of Work: They removed a very heavy and complex dining room suit from my den and hauled it away very quickly. They were professional and curteous in every way and I would not only use them again, I'd recommend them highly to my friends.

Description of Work: I had an appointment with 1-800 Got Junk for this morning between 9-11:00 Am. They called around 9:00 to say they would be at my house closer to 11:00. At 11:05 I called their office to ask when they would arrive, and they checked with the driver and told me he was on his way and would call me. At 11:40 I called again, and they said he would call and was close to arriving. I told them if he a was not at my house by 12:00 noon I would cancel. Finally, at 11:50 the driver called to say he was going to be further delayed, and when I asked when he would get here he said in another hour. I told him to forget about coming and that I was canceling the job. I then called their main office and told then I was canceling and how disgusted I was with their service. Based on my experience and their lousy service I would never try to use them again.

+ -1 moreAlthough the cost was a bit high, the service was more than excellent. The two haulers were extremely polite, helpful and efficient. They did all the heavy lifting for us and were most cooperative. We will most certainly use them again, when we tackle the attic. Terrific work!
Description of Work: Emptying trash, old furniture, tools, equipment, electronics, etc. from basement. They hauled away a full truckload.

+ -1 moreTwo men, Alexander and Imann, called about 30 minutes prior to arrival to confirm directions. They arrived on time, were very courteous and professional. I had moved all my ''junk'' out into the garage the day before, which was not necessary since they would have picked up the stuff from wherever it was sitting. Anyway, they backed the truck up and cleaned out the garage in about 20 minutes. They did a great job and saved me about 3-4 trips to the local landfill and at least $50 dollars in gas. I filled up a little less than 1/2 of the truck which is what determines the price you pay- if it weren't for the racks and shelving, I probably would've only needed 1/4th. 1/4th is about $40 dollars cheaper. No complaints though - happy to have a cleaner house and garage. I'll use these guys during my next seasonal cleaning. Highly recommended.
Description of Work: Removed old lawn equipment, old bicycles, old shelving/baker's rack, multiple boxes containing magazines, broken kitchen appliances and old textbooks, lots of junk that I found in closets, attic and in my garage.

Description of Work: Needed lots of junk removed and the District limits you to 7 items per bulk pickup. That's not satisfactory.

+ -1 moreI left this out for Alexandria City during the Spring clean up, and they didn't take it. I emailed the company at 12:00 noon, and they set an appointment for today at 3:30. The really nice guys came exactly on time and were gone in 10 minutes! I got a $10 discount for making the appointment on line. Very satisfied. Guys were nice, on time, polite and helpful. It was great!

+ -1 moreThe two guys worked very hard and very diligently. I was duly impressed. One note... although not required, the haulers do accept tips. I had a full truck and a lot of heavy junk to be hauled away so I gave them each $20.
Description of Work: Hauled away wooden fencing panels and posts as well as lots of old lumber, bricks, and concrete.

THEY REDUCED THE COST DUE TO VERY SMALL SUPERFICIAL DAMAGE DONE TO THE WALL FROM TRYING TO MOVE A VERY AWKWARD, LARGE PIECE OF FURNITURE OUT OF THE BASEMENT. THE WORKERS WERE DILIGENT and WORKED CONTINUOUSLY IN SPITE OF THE VERY HIGH TEMPERATURES OUTSIDE.
Description of Work: TWO WORKERS ASSESSED ALL THAT NEEDED TO BE "JUNKED" & GAVE ME AN ESTIMATE AFTER EXPLAINING HOW THE WHOLE PROCESS WORKED. THEN THEY HAULED THE ITEMS OUT OF THE BASEMENT, GARAGE, & WHEREVER ELSE THEY MIGHT BE LOCATED, & PUT THEM ON THEIR TRUCK.
