Prompt arrival and service more than met expectations. Great job cleaning up as well. Overall great job, reasonably priced!

We had them take down some trees that was a concern for us. Price was reasonable. They didn't cut down all the trees that we had a concern with, and made a recommendation. They could tell they were still alive and not a threat or a problem.

Great. A team of four arrived bright and early and got right to work. They did their work quickly and efficiently. I was impressed by the clean-up job. They checked with us at the end to make sure we were satisfied. We were more than satisfied, and would hire this company again.

It went very well. the workers showed up on time, were very careful of any plants I had in the yard. Very professional. They cleaned up all the mess , and left my yard looking great. Will definitely hire again.

It went so well :-)! From the receptionist answering the initial phone call to the estimate to the actual date of service, this company is fantastic! Our yard could not have looked better when the job was done and they were gone. It's sad for us to lose a tree so the excellent work and friendly attitudes of Kleaver and the crew was very helpful. Perfectly! Sean spent a great deal of time planning which branches needed to be cut on this majestic old oak tree. Hometown has taken care of this tree for several years and it is flourishing thanks to Sean who really knows trees!

Excellent. The workers were on time and very professional. The supervisor was very visible and responsive.

They were very good. I would use them again in the future. They did a great job. They gave us a detailed information, and walked through the options with us. The gave us an option of something that cost 10 times less than the other company and we believe it has worked awesome.

They worked out fine. They were very good. They were prompt. They didn't do any damage to any buildings or anything taking it down, and everything was fine. They just left more logs than we wanted left, but that's alright. They were friendly. Most of them spoke Spanish, but their main supervisor spoke English. We got it to work out just fine.

The did it by hand a piece at a time. Regular acrobats. The big trucks did not drive into the yard because my driveway was one week old and they though driving off the edge may damage it. They used a small loader, ground up what they could and hauled the rest. Ground up the stump. I don't think anyone could have done a better, more careful, job. A+++++

I have used Hometown in the past and was very happy so called them again when a neighbor's tree came down into our yard and was leaning on our fence (of course it happened after business hours on a Friday evening). Hometown came out quickly on Monday and did the job today, Tuesday. They also took down another tree that I had explored having removed but never took down. They were quick but careful and cleaned up so well you would not know they were there (except the tree is gone). They also very carefully protected my lawn, so there were no big gouges in it when they took the pieces of the tree down.

Hometown was amazing!!!! Easy to set up appt for estimate. Estimate was completely reasonable and they were super responsive via email when setting up removal appointment, and signing the contract. They got this huge tree down and removed, and ground the stump in a few hours!! Amazing. Would totally use them again!!! A+!!

Although the estimate was reasonable and helped us convince our neighbors to take the uprooted tree down, they elected to use a service that required taking out a second healthy tree. Should have used Hometown!

Sean, the operations manager, came out and gave me a proposal the same day I called. Out of three proposals I received from different tree services, his was the lowest cost. Jackie in the office was also good to work with. The four-man crew that did the work showed up exactly on time and did a masterful job. They cleaned up all the debris and left the yard looking good. I am very pleased with Hometown's service and the results. I highly recommend this company based upon my experience.

Beautifully. We choose them in 2014 because they were available after a major storm. In 2014, they repaired major damage to several trees and gave us excellent advice about trees on our property. These people are arborists, not merely tree cutters. In 2016, they moved a 10-ft section of decorative block wall away from a large tree. The results were stunning: you would think that the wall had originally been laid in its current location.. In neither case did we get other bids, but I suspect this firm is a bit pricier than many others. Still, I would ask them for a proposal, for you will get a free education that is worth your time.

A representative came out for an assessment about two weeks before the work started. We discussed what we needed to have done right away, and what we could wait on until next year. They made their recommendations, which we agreed with, and quoted a fair price for the work. We ended up having one large, one medium, and three small trees removed, and several trees pruned. The crew arrived on-time on the day we were scheduled, and worked quickly and efficiently. I was home during the work, and they took the time to explain to me exactly what they were going to do. In addition to the work we agreed on, they ended up cutting some additional branches, because they thought they might cause problems if we have a heavy storm. They didn't charge anything extra for this -- they said it was better to just deal with them while they were up there, because they knew it could be an issue. They also chipped some branches that he County left on the property after cutting down a tree a few weeks prior to the work, which was very nice of them. A few days after the work was completed, my wife had some questions, and the company sent out a representative to walk us through everything. That was great, because it made us very comfortable with what they had done, especially with regards to the pruning. I'm sure that we will be a repeat customer when we are ready to start removing some additional trees next year.

It didn't go very well. Because I knew my job was small I made a point of describing it and asking vendors if they did this kind of work. While Hometown Tree Experts answered in the affirmative their service indicated otherwise. First the price was high, I paid less than half this for 2 ft off the same 2 trees last year, I was OK paying more this time because I wanted more control over the schedule (but I didn't get it). Before signing the contract I had Hometown update it to say that the trees should be cut to a height of 4' - 5'. Hometown Tree required 50% in advance to get on their schedule so I mailed the check but weeks later I still hadn't heard anything so I sent an email and was told that they would do the work in about 10 days. I hadn't anticipated this kind of delay in getting the work done the calendar was rapidly approaching the end of the recommended season/temperatures to cut an Arbor Vitae (I was counting on Hometree to keep this in mind, but now I don't think they're that kind of tree company). Hometown Tree did cut the trees on the day stated but both trees were still over 6' tall. To add insult to injury the invoice was already in my inbox. There were multiple promises to fix the problem long story short, about 7 days and 2 more trims later, my trees were finally down to the height contracted for. I'm still concerned about the possible distress to my trees having been cut 3 times in 2 weeks. The customer service leaves quite a bit to be desired. It was incumbent upon me daily to tell them the work hadn't been completed. If you have a large job they're probably great, but I don't recommend Hometown Tree Experts for a small job like mine.

They arrived right on time. All work was performed as expected. The crew was very friendly and easy to work with ... they made accommodations when I requested small changes in the planned work. Branches were cut into firewood length and left for us. The trunk pieces were too large and they took those away. The stump was ground and covered with topsoil and grass seed. The area was left clean ... all branches and debris removed. Great job!

The estimator came as scheduled and provided detailed costs for the job. The company called back to schedule a day for the work to be performed, and the work crew showed up on schedule. They worked quickly, carefully, and professionally taking down two very large poplar trees, plus clearing a very large top section of an oak tree that toppled in a storm. They cleaned up every bit of debris. Clearly, they knew what they were doing, and went out of their way to make sure we were satisfied. Great job.

When I contacted the company's office I was given an appointment the next day for someone to come access what needed to be done and provide me with a quote. The gentleman was friendly, knowledgeable and I was emailed a quote the same day. Their prices were better than a couple of other places that I contacted. The crew came within two weeks and they did an excellent job! We would definitely use them again if the need arises. The company's office staff, estimator and work crew were very efficient and nice.

The company was wonderful to deal with. They scheduled the service very quickly after we contacted them. They completed the job in two days. Removed four large trees 75+ feet each. They trees were located very near our house and garage. Everything was done quickly and professionally. Some of the wood was cut into smaller pieces for firewood but most was hauled away, along with some other yard debris we hadn't been able to clear from our yard due to size and weight.

The crew arrived early and worked quickly and efficiently to complete the job. The work site was left in great condition with the stump ground completely down and grass seed put down. A totally fantastic experience from start to finish.
