He is very good and understands his job very well. He uses just the minimal of pesticides when he works. He will come back free of charge a week later. All his staff are trained and do very high quality work. His pricing is very good. He is a very honest good guy.

No more story to tell. It was short, fast and efficient. And it seems to have worked.

We had only been in our new home for a week. We noticed wasps flying around and called them. They came out that same day and took care of the problem. We were very pleased with their service and we would use them again in the future.

I had tons of ants and what were either winged ants or termites. I couldn't tell the difference. Innovative Pest Management came the morning after I called, inspected the whole house and told me that I had ants, carpet beetles, and bees in the back of the house, but no termites. They told me that I had put down too much mulch which was giving the ants shelter. (Moisture, shelter, and food are apparently all they need). The exterminator also identified that the house had once had termites, but had already been treated by a previous owner. He actually found the old nest, but it was completely empty. He treated both the inside and the outside of the house for all pests, except for the bees. He told me to get some caulking and plug up the wood in the back and I would get rid of the bees. He was very professional and informative. He also said that the $175 included a free follow-up visit, but I never wound up needing one. He was very thorough and was in and out in less than half an hour. Professional and friendly. I highly recommend this company!

Ward Pest Control appear to be in high demand (we checked them also with another resource and they received the highest scores) and after about a week they came by and sprayed the perimeter of our home and also the interior walls. The representative was friendly and explained his process and how long it would take for us to see results (we haven't seen one live cricket since:-).

I was completely satisfied. They diagnosed the problem, suggested the traps, and later removed the traps and masked the entrance that the squirrels made. He spent 2 hours doing a very thorough inspection, and I was not charged for this. I was pleased that they did thorough work and even commented on termite/mice/other animal issues that he noticed. He looked at the basement as well when doing the termite inspection. The people who installed the traps were on time and everything went as expected. I would recommend them highly to everybody else.

They have come out three times but their attempts/methods have proven very ineffective to get the raccoons out of my home. I had to call the State of Maryland wildlife hotline to get accurate info on how to effectively get the raccoons out and then tell the people at Ward's Pest who didn't know how to get the proper repellent. They don't seem to be too concerned that they are not getting rid of raccoons. There always seem to be a lack of communication between the office and exterminators. They may be good at pest control but getting rid of wildlife has proven ineffective. I will look elsewhere to have the raccoons removed.

Our house had not been treated in about 2 years and we had carpenter ants and numerous other pests. The estimator/technician did not make the initial late afternoon appointment so I called back and rescheduled. They more than made up for it next time by coming over despite heavy rain and tornado warnings in the area. The estimator did a good job of explaining how they would treat the house. The price was very reasonable and several contract options were offered (including an option for one treatment with no contract). We liked the option of having the house treated every 4 months and opted for that. The technician who treated the house was courteous and very knowledgeable and he worked patiently and methodically to take care of the problem areas. I was impressed with the service overall and would recommend them to others.

They were extremely easy to work with, friendly, timely and professional. I had a concern and they were very attentive to the issue and concerned about it. I was very impressed.

They were very good. They were responsive on the phone. There was a mix up about when they were going to show. That was frustrating, but when I called them the apologized and came the next day. He explained everything, set the trap, and left.

Non toxic to children. If it is an outside scheduled visit then we have to call them. But they come out on a monthly. If a person does not have children or animals they will spray with what ever you want.

It was good initially the first trip out, but the follow up was nonexistent. They no showed twice. Half the job is done. I have contacted them three times about coming back and each time they said they would, but so far no return visit.

Called Ward Pest Control to inspect some saw dust in my kitchen wall for possible termite/carpenter ant damage. The consultant, Reynaldo(?), who inspected the kitchen arrived on time and looked professional. He inspected the area of concern and told me that it is definitely not termites and said it looked like left over construction saw dust and nothing to be concerned about. He was knowledgeable and took the time to do a thorough inspection. He even pointed out where termite treatment had been done in the past. It is sometimes difficult to find honest companies that don't want to sell work you may not need. If I ever do have a pest control problem in the future, I'm calling these guys again.

I believed I had bed bugs, a pest that is extremely difficult to eradicate. Another company had already sprayed my home for bedbugs, but they were spreading, and I didn't have confidence in the company (they will get the appropriate report). I checked Angie's List and called several other companies, including Innovative Pest Management. I got a call back from Innovative Pest Management within a couple of hours (fastest of the 4 companies I called). Shortly after speaking with the intake person, I got an almost immediate call back from Josh Kramer, who walked through the history of the problem with me and was able to get us a few steps farther along over the phone, thereby making his first visit - the next day- more productive. I walked through the house with Josh as he inspected extensively. He did really gross things without a second thought - like slowly and carefully checking the contents of our vacuum bag. As I now know, the most important step in fighting your pests is to correctly identify what you're fighting. Josh spent much more time inspecting than treating. He found a carpet beetle larvae and two dead adults - NO bed bugs - YAY!! The company seems to be on the cutting edge of their field. It was started by Josh's father, a well-known entomologist. They don't have a bed bug sniffing dog because they don't think the technology is proven yet and they don't believe in passing the costs of these unproven techniques onto their customers. They use new products that seem to be safer and more effective than the old school sprays -- I say this after MUCH googling and time spent on beyondpesticides.org. I am an organic eater and have a toddler in the house, so I am extremely concerned about pesticide spraying and residues, but I had done enough research to know that I had to have chemicals applied in order to win the battle. Josh was very solicitous about my concerns and applied the least toxic and most effective products possible, in the fewest possible areas of my home, and we were able to avoid my child's room entirely. After 2 major freakout over first the bugs, and then the chemicals, I finally have peace of mind. I very highly recommend this company. Their prices are an incredible bargain.

The service was good. The representative was professional, set up a bunch of traps and it seems to have worked.

Price was very reasonable for the time spent. They were incredibly responsible about showing up when arranged and calling to set up follow up appointment. Service person was extremely competent, thorough and personable.

I think they are good and I would recommend them to others. Their services are very comprehensive.

They came on time. They gave us a good price, better than other companies. They did a good job installing the bait, very quick and efficient. They come periodically to check on them too.

Ward Pest Control sent out technicians to place a squirrel trap and instructed us to call if we found a squirrel in the cage the next morning. We did, so they sent out a technician to retrieve the squirrel and place another empty trap. We continued like this until the cage remained empty for several days in a row. In all, they removed 5 squirrels. Although the squirrels' entry point seemed obvious, one technician diligently searched the attic for any additional entry points and located one. All the technicians arrived when they said they would, and all were friendly, polite, and helpful. When the work spanned the weekend, one technician offered his cell number and said he would come out and remove a squirrel if need be on his day off. We were very pleased with the work that Ward did for us, and we would highly recommend them.

We had some difficulty scheduling an appointment due to the company's limited hours in DC. Also, we had a couple of missed appointments that apparently were due to some unexpected staff changes. Once the workers came, though, they did excellent work. They inspected our property carefully, provided useful explanations of what they saw, and have been reliable in doing all of the needed work in follow-up visits. Also, Donna Ward provided useful referrals for people who might be able to do needed work to prevent rats from entering our garage.

I found insects in my bedroom and called Dr. Kramer for identification. He willingly gave me information on the phone. I sent insect samples to him for identification and he called me with the results. He did this for free.

Great. Mr. Ward came to my home to consult on pest that was biting me. He asked me detailed questions about my problem. Confirmed that the samples I had collected were carpet beetles, not bedbugs. Mr. Ward thinks I'm being bitten by mites and delivered to me a gallon of a product that I can apply myself to a variety of surfaces. It is labeled to kill a wide range of pests, including bedbugs, mites, mold, bacteria, viruses. He also looked at the squirrel's nest on top of my chimney (under the chimney cap) and told me that the squirrel was able to get in and build the nest because the company that installed my chimney cap was the wrong size (too big).

We called because of a rodent problem. They were able to schedule the appointment fairly quickly. The exterminator came out and did a full inspection of the house, noting several points of entry. He gave advice on how to cover-up those entry points. He said that since we are in the middle of a renovation, he didn't want to do any treatment at this time, because it would just be a waste of our money. He made a few suggestions to tide us over until we are done with renovations and then said to give them a call again for treatment. He did not charge for inspecting the house. I appreciated that he didn't try to sell us something that wouldn't have done us any good at this point.

We got their name from Angie's List. They charged us $100 more than the original quote when they showed up to do the work. We had made three appointments with them and they never showed up. When they did come out they told us that they had sealed the areas where the squirrels were coming in. When I went to see what they had done, nothing had been done. The attic was exactly the way it was before we had called them.

If I need them to come out between visits, there is no charge. I have had an ant problem for 4 years. They have done a great job at keeping the ants away. They are responsive and professional.
